  • MS Events has always been my go-to for event rentals in Charlottesville when I was working in the area as an event planner. I didn't realize until I hired them personally for my wedding how truly wonderful the company is! Our original plans for an out of state wedding, like a lot right now, had to be cancelled due to COVID-19. We decided to stay local for the event instead and plan the entire event in 3 weeks. I reached out to Linda Winkler from MS Events maybe a week and 1/2 before the wedding and requested tables/chairs/linen. Linda Winkler whipped up a proposal with recommended linens within an hour of my request! The company has an array of rentals to include cool, unique accent pieces to add to your reception. I couldn;t been more pleased with the level of service, quality of rentals and the overal experience working with MS. Thank you so much for contributing to our big day!

  • MS Events was great to work with! In addition to the typical linens, plates, flatware, etc, we rented a light wall from them! It was gorgeous and set up before I arrived at the venue in the morning. They were very flexible with changes and easy to get in touch with. Callie was incredibly helpful during our rental meeting. She gave great advice on what went well together and prevented us from feeling too overwhelmed!

  • We hired MS for our wedding reception rentals and stage/lighting and we could not have been more glad to have them on our team on our biggest (and best) day. They flawlessly executed our vision to perfection and were so responsive during the entire process. They truly went above and beyond our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is planning an event!

  • At every touchpoint, MS Events showed their in-depth knowledge and professionalism. Gorgeous choices, attention to detail and always the desire to make our daughter's day exactly what she had envisioned, from beginning to end, made our first family wedding a dream come true. Linda Winkler expertly walked us through the entire experience, helping us think through the space and sharing invaluable wisdom along the way, as we were planning it from out of town. And the crew that delivered the rentals to the barn in Mt. Solon was top-notch. I have already recommended them to people planning Charlottesville-area weddings and hope to work with them again.

  • We rented from MS Events everything from the china to the dance floor for our wedding and had a great experience! They have a wide selection of items to rent and we were able to visit their showroom to check out their entire inventory. We were also able to set up tables to see how everything would look together which was nice!

  • When Austin and I learned that we had to cancel our wedding down South due to Hurricane Dorian, we still wanted to have our wedding on September 7, 2019, but had to relocate. We ultimately relocated to Afton, VA, and were lucky enough to work with the MS Events team. We needed tables and chairs for our wedding, and were only able to give them 2 days notice, yet, Erika pulled out all the stops to ensure we could get these in time for our wedding! To our surprise, her team delivered to our new venue before we had even arrived, which gave us peace of mind during a stressful time. The MS Events team was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, and we would highly recommend them to anyone. We will never forget their kindness, and couldn’t have pulled off relocating our wedding without them!! :)

  • We rented 5 farm tables, 5 ivory runners, blue goblets, a cake stand, and an umbrella for our string quartet from MS. Their inventory is great and the process was very smooth! The blue goblets were the perfect touch to incorporate my bridesmaid dress color into the table-scape. Would highly recommend!

  • We use MS Events for drapery around the Delfosse Vineyard event space, which we decided to do the month of our wedding, and MS Events set up our contract and executed it without any hiccups. They delivered early, installed skillfully (having never been to the site) and dismantled -- all included in a great rate. I had contemplated buying and hanging the drapery on my own and it actually was about the same $ with wayyy less effort to rent it. 100% worth it.

  • I had a few issues with this vendor, which put my into a panic on my wedding day. I had no ceremony seating until 20 minutes before my ceremony. The truck had gotten “lost”. Luckily they did come through in time with 5 minutes to spare, but I was still sweating a bit considering I already had guests waiting. It was especially upsetting because they did not call and let us know that they were running very behind, we had to call multiple times to check in with there status. Big disappointment.

  • MS Events were very helpful. They were a little pricey but they were extremely flexible and LED us through our decisions. They have a very large selection of linens, plates, silver, and other miscellaneous items (e.x. bar fronts and backs). We recommend going with MS events for your wedding.

  • I really enjoyed working with MS Events. Callie was super helpful throughout the process and provided us with almost everything we wanted for our special day. Their showroom was helpful to better visualize their offerings, they worked with us to do table mock-ups, and even got to pick another item from their back storage area which wasn't pictured online as they were listening to what we wanted. The overall rentals we selected were good for our needs and I'd recommend them to anyone else. They were also average priced on most of their items compared to other vendors (some less, but also some more so depends on your specific needs.) The only thing I'd note for future brides/grooms is that MS Events does not offer arches. So, if you're looking to rent an arch for an arbor or other materials to place at the end of your alter think twice as you could end up paying another travel fee if getting this from another vendor.
