Thank you to everyone at the Mile Away for such an amazing day! I especially want to thank Sandy, our wedding planner for the day. Sandy, you put everyone at ease and your experience with 450+ weddings showed. My family could not say enough kind things about your calm, gentle and effective guidance during out entire event. The food was delicious and the grounds were absolutely stunning. The foliage was gorgeous and we felt like we were tucked away in the mountains. The service and the staff were great. We can’t wait to see you in a year (and likely before then too) to eat the top tier of our cake!!

The Mile Away is a hidden gem!! We had our wedding there on 9/16/17 and couldn't have asked for anything more. The Murphy family is so easy to work with & they truly want to make your day perfect. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL and the food was absolutely delicious. One of the most important things to us at our wedding was the food and EVERY person there said how wonderful everything was. The price was so much better than I was expecting for everything we got in the package. Sandy (day of coordinator) was incredible, she set up the entire venue exactly how I wanted it (and trust me, I am VERY picky) and made sure our entire day went smooth. We could not have asked for a more perfect place for our wedding, and we cant thank the Mile Away enough!! Highly Recommend this venue!!!

The Mile Away was an absolutely perfect venue for our September 2017 wedding. Working with Josh and Christina throughout the planning process was effortless and they were able to accommodate all of our needs. On the day of, they set up our decorations and made the tent look absolutely beautiful. Not once during the entire wedding did I have any concern about how the night was going because Christina, Sandy and all of the staff worked seamlessly to make everything go as planned. We could not have asked for more genuinely nice people to work with for our wedding and we truly appreciate that the Mile Away not only gave us a stunning venue and amazing food but also allowed us to enjoy an incredibly fun night with our friends and family. My husband and I got married at mile away two weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about it!! We actually looked at another vendor and put a deposit down with them. After seeing Mile Away and what it had to offer we decided to loose our other deposit and book our reception and ceremony with them. BEST decision !!!! The grounds were beautiful, the staff and owners were amazing, and the food was perfect!! Josh and Christina made everything so easy for us and answered all of our questions and concerns within hours if not minutes of an email or phone call. Sandy was incredible the day of our rehearsal and wedding! She really made us feel comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed and everything was set up and prepared exactly how we imagined. We didn't have to worry about contacting a tent company, or someone for tables and linens and napkins etc. it was all included- even the food and the cake (which was delicious). I couldn't be happier with our decision to get married at MIle Away and our special day was everything I had dreamed of!!!!

I would recommend the Mile Away to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor venue! I can’t say enough good things about the owner Josh and Sandy! From the very beginning you could tell they truly cared about our questions and concerns for our special day. Sandy was amazing before the wedding during the rehearsal, during the wedding making sure everything went perfectly, and after the wedding - wrapping up some extra food / cake and labeling them “husband and wife”. She really put thoughtful touches into everything she did! The food and drinks were amazing and everyone had a great time! It is 6 months later, but I am still having people tell me how beautiful the wedding was and even some say it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!

We just had my daughters wedding at Mile Away. I could not give a higher recommendation. The grounds were beautiful. The staff thought of everything. They took great care of my daughter and son in law, providing hors d'oeuvres during photos, ensuring they had food and drinks throughout. Sandy thought of everything ensuring a perfect evening. The food was excellent. They even provided a doggy bag for the bride and groom including cake. For such an important event, I highly recommend Mile Away. Beautiful place to have a wedding in the summer. Amazing gardens for ceremony and pictures. They did everything we asked and we had absolutely no problems!!! I liked how the food was included there btw it was to die for!

Amazing location, great food and an abundance of experience. We had the rehearsal, the ceremony, and the reception all behind the restaurant. Sandy was very attentive and ready for anything and everything. Josh did an amazing job maintaining the beautiful grounds, perfect for pictures as well as an awesome tent for reception. Tent is also useful for emergency place to hold ceremony if raining or too cold. I would definitely recommend getting married at the Mile Away Restaurant in NH.

My husband and I got married at Mile Away Restaurant in August 2014. Our ceremony was in the beautiful overgrown garden followed by a tented reception. Our rehearsal dinner was inside Mile Away Restaurant which is so quaint and unique. Mile Away Restaurant is beautiful, relaxed, and has amazing food. Mile Away has the best wedding prices around and is the prettiest place for a wedding! Josh and his family (family owned) are the nicest people. The family is flexible and so accommodating. I would highly recommend Mile Away Restaurant to anyone interested in a rustic NH wedding. I had the perfect day and the perfect experience. A++
