We had been referred to Memphis Sound by a well-respected musician friend of ours, but also contacted other agencies to confirm what we were getting, as I had never booked a band, or party rental equipment in my life. After our terrible experience with another agency - they were rude, misrepresented our bands availability, and way over-priced - we realized why our friend had sent us here. They had the same Memphis entertainment we wanted for 1/3 off! And the girl we dealt with helped us so much on everything from seating to band schedules. My second daughter is getting married in the Spring, and we will not consider going anywhere else. I've learned a good rule of thumb in Memphis, and it's this: If an entertainment agency begins with "R", put the phone down and slowly back away. Better yet, ask a local musician.
