Matt was a fantastic photographer at our wedding and we wouldn't have chosen anyone else! Not only is he a great photographer (and his assistant was a pleasure to work with as well!), he kept everyone entertained, had full positive energy, efficient, and we had rave reviews of him from family members! We first met him at our engagement shoot (We normally meet with our vendors in person first before signing the contract but with Matt, we've only talked on the phone and trusted his work). He OK'ed to schedule the engagement shoot the same day I was having my hair and make-up trial. Also note that we really wanted to have the cherry blossoms in the backgrounds of our engagement pictures, so the session was only about less than 2 months before our wedding. Matt was quick with sending us the engagement pictures in-time for us to use them for our wedding! We also laughed a lot during the entire engagement session! When the wedding day came, we fell a little behind during the Tea Cerem... Read moreony, but Matt was able to keep us back on schedule! For example, we originally wanted to have our wedding party photos at the beach, which would've required some 20-minute round-trip drive. While we were having some lull moments, Matt used the opportunity and scouted areas around our venue for good picture-taking locations in case we couldn't go to the beach as planned. Things happen at weddings and we ended up being tight on schedule. Because of Matt's earlier scouting, he was able to give us suggestions on some alternative options. One of which we ended up taking a couple wedding photo at the beach after the reception (turned out great!). We were able to catch up on our schedule to start the wedding ceremony on-time (very large thanks to his efficient execution) that some of our wedding guests who arrived late, was surprised that the wedding actually started on-time! And not a minute later. Also wanted to mention that we received our wedding pictures about 1 month or so after the wedding (he gave us teasers a couple weeks after the wedding). TL;DR: My husband and I very much recommend Matt Priestman! He was punctual, efficient, entertaining, and very much fun to work with! Of course, it's always great to hear family members still praising the great job he did at our wedding today!

Matt was such pleasure to work with. His professionalism was top notch and he’s just really great to be around. My husband and I are pretty goofy and Matt was able to capture our essence and just work with our natural selves. The engagement session was simply my favorite and I loved what he was able to do at our wedding! We had limited areas to shoot since the grass was wet and we didn’t want to get my dress dirty, but he got some amazing, lush shots and I love them! His experience shows through everything he does and his advice and expertise with timeframes, and just the general cadence of a wedding was invaluable. I would recommend him all day, every day. 😊

We love our wedding and engagement photos. Two photographers and went above and beyond my expectations.

Matt was the very first thing we booked for our big day! Matt had done my sister-in-laws wedding and we knew we wanted him from the start. He did not disappoint! From the very beginning Matt worked hard to make sure we got the pictures we wanted. I think we rescheduled out engagement session 3-4 times. We just had bad luck and it keep pouring each time we tried. Matt was willing to go off our call and cancel last minute. When we finally got to have our first day with him we had such much fun. He made us feel so relaxed and we were not nervous at all about being in front of the camera. Matt even took of his coat for several of our pictures and let me sit on it so my dress wouldn’t get dirty! What a great guy!! On our wedding day Matt showed up early so he could get some getting ready and detail shots even though he went a little beyond the hours we had paid him. The whole day he was there capturing every moment, but he does it so discreetly I didn’t even notice. One of my guest ... Read moretold me at one point he was laying on his stomach in the grass to capture the perfect shot. I had no idea because he makes it an effort to stay behind the scenes. At the end of the night Matt made sure the check in to see if there were anymore pictures I wanted, but he hadn’t gotten before he left for the night. One of the best decisions we made about our wedding was booking Matt to be our photographer. He was so flexible and accommodating and his photos were stunning! We had both our engagement photos and wedding photos taken by him, and he did a great job of making us feel calm and comfortable. On our wedding day, we barely even noticed him there, but at the same time he was everywhere getting photos of everything. I was so impressed when we got the photos back with the moments he was able to capture. He traveled over two hours to come to our ceremony/reception location and committed to stay the entire day, no matter how long our event lasted. We are extremely happy with our experience with him and would recommend him to anyone!

We haven't seen our final wedding photos, but we also had our engagement photos with him and they were amazing. I can't wait to see the wedding photos and know they will be equally awesome!
