  • My wedding on 5/7/11 at Maravilla gradens was fabulous!! I had a great time. The location is beautiful; grass is very green, lots of flowers and great size for a 150 person wedding. There is a lot of options that are pretty if you purchase them, the market lights was one thing that you defintely dont want to go without but was $700. All in all i loved the venue and had the time of my life.

  • Maravilla is absolutely beautiful! We got married at the end of October and there were many flowers blooming and all sorts of plants with different colored leaves, lots of humming birds flitting around, and an adorable cat. The doves were a nice touch. Even though it was more than an hour drive for most of our guests, they all said it was well worth it. Multiple people complimented me, saying that our wedding was the most beautiful they had ever been to, including their own! Jo, Jen & Loret were extremely warm, helpful and instrumental in making the evening as enjoyable as it was. The market lights are an absolute "must rent" in my opinion and I wish they would just include them in their rental price. The caterers they work with (Command Performance) are also great.

  • Had a great experience with everyone at Maravilla Gardens from our first visit to all the others leading up to our wedding day! Almost 3 years since the wedding we are still getting compliments on how beautiful it was. Some of our more seasoned family members even have called it the BEST wedding they've been to.(Knowing they don't say that to everyone in the family who has gotten married since, makes it even more special)

  • Worth every penny! Jo was great to work with in planning our event and giving us helpful advice when the weather was unsure. The day of coordinator, Loret, was nice and helpful as well. We received so many compliments on this venue, mainly that it was different and beautiful. Many people asked me,"How did you find this place?" It was a beautiful day and place.

  • Looking for a ceremony and reception site that was in our budget and wasn't a country club or hotel was a difficult task. The moment we walked into Maravilla Gardens we knew it was the place for us. Not only is it beautiful, as the Maravillas take incredible care with the grounds, it was such a value. Jo couldn't be more helpful and willing to work with you on your vision for the day. We had a perfect wedding day here and highly recommend the site to everyone!

  • Maravilla Gardens is an amazingly beautiful site. My friends can't stop talking about how beautiful it was. And it is well - priced. Because I had my wedding on a Tuesday afternoon, and only had my ceremony there, (we went to a friend's estate for the reception) they were able to give me a very competitive price. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Just tell them what you need and they will help you work it out!

  • While the venue is absolutely gorgeous, the owner and staff are not the most professional bunch. I was part of a wedding party this past weekend, and unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worst as the celebrations were set to begin. As it poured down on the guests, the owner was initially nowhere to be found, staying dry in her house which is located on the property. When we were finally able to reach her, she offered no help, instead listing off excuses as to why there was nothing she could do, while the bridal party attempted to come up with solutions to the problem. We were quite shocked at her rude responses to any idea we could think up, and her impolite and unhelpful manner throughout the situation. As a recent bride myself, I would caution anyone from using this as a venue unless they get everything in writing to their liking. The owner is friendly when things run smoothly, but if something unexpected happens, you can count on her to run away and offer no contingen... Read more

This review is not entirely true. The weather was not forecasted, and while inside I was communicating with the owner of the catering company to find an indoor venue we could move the wedding to. The families ideas included moving all the 160 guests, into the family house on site where 4 people live, or the small barn which was filled with storage. The also wanted to move the wedding to a hotel in the next town, where the caterer has never worked and the hotel was not prepared for 160 guests to arrive. These options simply were not viable. With the help of the catering company, were were able to move to a hall at a church3 miles away that they frequently work at. Because the catering company was familiar with the hall, they were able to set up the tables and chairs, place fresh linens and table setting the brought over. All the food was brought over and the buffet was quickly set up. While the family and guests were on their way to the hall, I was collecting 16 centerpieces in the rain and then drove them to the church and placed them on the tables. I stayed to assist through the reception. I was not rude. I was helping. I was wet too. And, I have no complaints oh how the family treated me because I can sympathize with their stress and disappointment. Many guests did notice what I was doing and thanked me. It was certainly a team effort between all the vendors to salvage the day.
