  • Gloss Bridal and Beauty Bar is hands down the best. I’ve had Aly do my makeup and hair for my engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. I can honestly say she never disappointed each time and I was so incredibly happy with how everything turned out. I can’t recommend them enough. Everyone there is so friendly and makes you feel welcome and like you’re a part of the Gloss family. :) There’s no doubt that they are the best around. Thank you so much Gloss! You guys truly made my dreams come true.

  • I had a wonderful experience with Alyssa. I got my haircut from her and absolutely love it. All the ladies at the beauty bar do an excellent job and everyone is very talented ,& excellent at their craft. I highly recommend them to all my friends getting married and getting their hair done.

  • I can not recommend this place enough. First of all they were able to schedule my wedding hair and make up only a month out. Which I was shocked about. Second, crystal was super responsive and flexible with me. She came to our Airbnb and she was so relaxed and calm and made everyone look so beautiful. I am beyond happy with the service I got and I am so thankful!!

  • I was blown away by Crystal and Paola on my wedding day! They did such an amazing job on all the bridesmaids, MOG, MOB, and I; truly remarkable. They were on time, took no time at all to set up, and finished within the time frame I needed, plus stayed a little longer to do touch up after I had my First Look. They had great energy and made it that much easier to relax during the chaos of setting up for the wedding. Also, leading up to the wedding getting my hair and make up trial done was a breeze; they are flexible and will work with you to get that perfect look.   • Jasmine did my hair and makeup for a photoshoot and she did such an amazing job! She was able to perfectly recreate the makeup look and hairstyle I wanted. Not only was jasmine extremely sweet and professional but so was every one else at the salon. I will for sure be coming back!

  • First, let me admit my contribution to this poor review. Due to COVID, as well as challenges aligning my schedule with the salon’s, I was unable to schedule a trial of my bridal hair and makeup (I live out of state). I went with Gloss on blind faith, based on their solid reviews across the internet and their “portfolio” on Instagram. My frustration began via email correspondence, after I had already paid my deposit. On January 18, I sent a detailed list of services my bridesmaids wanted to add to my existing bridal appointment. I finally heard back from the owner’s assistant on January 31, but she didn’t have the correct number of services, so I immediately responded back to her with the corrections that needed to be made. I also asked a few additional questions about bridesmaid invoicing and deposits. I never received a response, so I took the initiative to follow up on March 1. I don’t think that was unreasonable.     Hi Karissa, Thank you for taking the time to express your feelings and concerns with our company. As the owner of this company, I take our customer experience very seriously and I am happy to take a look at some of the issues or concerns you may have had. Our company has went through a lot of changes, accommodations, new requests, etc, for all of our new clients as well as existing ones due to the COVID-19 Pandemic that has happened/continuing to happen. We ask that you allow us some grace when responding to emails, or responses since we work in the salon from 9am-6pm throughout the week as well as bridal parties on the weekends. We do service a lot of other clients and brides as well, and we will absolutely get back to you. We did let you know that we have received your requests via email and that it will be taken care of, and if you have any emergencies that you can reach out to us via our phone number. We do our best to get emails taken care of as soon as we possibly can. With the COVID-19 Pandemic, reschedules, and new clients, we are doing our best to respond to everyone as soon as we can and we are sorry you felt that we were snapping on you, when that wasn't the case. We were simply stating that we would get back to you as soon as we can and we received your first email that you have sent us. As for the wedding day, all party members are required to come with blown out, dry hair and makeup free for services. You mentioned that we made you late for your photos you wanted to capture, however, our artists were there before the time they were scheduled to service you. One of your bridesmaids showed up with hair that was wet, which in turn made the entire timeline backed up since she was the first person on our timeline to receive services. Our hair artist had to wait additional time to service the first bridal party member due to her not being ready for services. Our artist for makeup informed me that you wanted a smudged eyeliner look, which she accomplished for you. It was a water resistant eyeliner which she also set with powder before she left. I also wanted to touch base with you saying you felt l like you weren't heard by our hair artist on what you were wanting. You showed her a photo of inspiration, and let her know that you wanted your hair to be slightly curlier than the photo that you showed her, which is what we delivered. We have photos of your hair and makeup, and the hair was , it was not ringlets or up to your shoulders as described by you in the review. When showing us a photo of inspiration for hair, it is a photo of inspiration. It does not mean we can articulate the hair exactly as pictured, and that we can do something similar to the photos. Pictures are filtered, edited and also don't show what type of hair the person had in the photo to achieve the look. Since each client has different texture, hair type, and factors that contribute to the way hair will look, we can only do our best as experienced hair artists with your exact hair type/texture. Our artist walked with you with a mirror and asked you what you liked and what you didn't like so she could fix and correct to what you were looking for. You decided to take additional time asking your bridesmaids to flatten your hair with a flat iron, as well as style your own bangs, which also takes time out of your services. I apologize that you feel that you have wasted your money with our company, your experience to us means more to our company than any amount of money in the world. If you had any issues or concerns, I would have been happy to rectify any problems we may have caused if you just reached out to us on the phone or email. We would have been more than happy to help fix any concerns you may have had & make you happy. Again, thank you for addressing your concerns, and congratulations Karissa!   • Crystal and Jasmine were sweethearts to work with honestly kept us relaxed and laughing majority of the morning! My bridesmaids and MOB hair and makeup looked fantastic!! Loved my hair and make up trial, as well as hair day of, but I don’t know where the make up went wrong. It didn’t look terrible but the more and more people send me photos the more I realize how muddy my contour looked. Almost resembled a bruise like I had been hit in the face. Also to mention to future brides/ clients give yourself more time then needed. I instructed the company that I had to be done by 2:30pm due to pictures and after some serious rushing was done by 3:30pm, had to cut a lot of photos out that I wanted pre-ceremony.

We are most definitely open to constructive criticism for our artists & we appreciate you taking the time to tell us what we can do better. We know that you wanted a full glam look, and you were happy when the service was complete, but if you are not happy we do ask our customers to give the feedback while getting the makeup or hair done so we can fix what is wrong from the beginning. We do know that people in the bridal party also may have some changes that want to be made throughout the time being, so that will also affect timing.
