I hate to even give this 1 star that they are making me give! Long story I researched MANY ladies to do my hair/makeup for my engagement photos. I felt assured Hollie was the right one for the job. My appointment originally was set for Jan 8th or 9th depending on weather but Hollie reassured me either date was fine! When I booked, I made sure to ask all details and asked if travel was included for the 165 dollars I was paying and she said, "yes, but you are welcome to come to my home studio." Welcome to me means it's an option. I told her where the pictures would be and she told me she was 15 min from that location. She did not take the time to pay attention that I said Roanoke. 1 day before my pictures, Hollie informed me that she wanted me to come to her home for makeup the next day. She continued to text me not call me that everything would be okay and we would figure it out. The morning of my shoot, I wrote to figure out if she could come to me and for 3 hours kept getting the same run around saying she was arranging things but it would be okay. She later told me she needed to get a babysitter for 3 hours vs 1 hour. Shouldn't that have been set when I booked shortly after? I told Hollie to let me know so I could tell my photographer if we were doing photos on 8th or 9th because at that rate the next day seemed better. She said she would let me know and i NEVER heard back from her that day. So I had to let my photographer know last minute, we were doing photos on the 9th instead. I wake up on the 9th and still no word from her. I called, no answer. Wrote on Facebook and texted and still no answer. My photos were set at 4 and by 12:30, Still not a word
