Ana and every one at the front desk did a wonderful job coordinating our elopement and dealing with my indecisiveness. I appreciated all the work and smiles received under masks and would recommend this place to anyone. Such a magical experience! Also worked with us when 5 more people joined, we decided 2 seconds before the ceremony we didn't need music, and then walked into Lake Superior.

Lutsen Resort has it ALL! After spending many Thanksgivings and weekends away at Lutsen Resort I just knew it was the place for our wedding. If you're looking for an unforgettable location, amazing views, PLENTY of things for your guests to do, delicious food and true northern charm then Lutsen Resort is your wedding venue! Our friends and family loved the different lodging options, the pool, game room, pub, lobby and ice rink along with all of the beautiful property to explore! We had 115 people total at our wedding but the general feel you have while at Lutsen resort makes things feel so much more intimate! Our officiant ran music off of our phone hooked up to the sound system and no one ever knew! All the music was cued right at the perfect time! Pictures were all over the place outside and turned out to be breathtaking! You can't find better back drops for pictures than the porch/bridge/beach/ rocks/poplar river! Dinner in the dining room was phenomenal, They serve family style so everyone is fed at the same time, no one has to wait in lines and you get to eat as much as you would like. Food it 5 stars! The dining room has gorgeous lake front views and everything about the space is stunning and comfortable. Our reception was back in the ballroom where we had the funnest night of our life's! The music/AV set up Lutsen has saved us SO much money because we didn't need a DJ. We made all our playlists and had 2 family members control it and MC for the night, we had all the music we wanted and the dance floor was never empty! The balcony level is also such a treat to have too :) Wedding planning was so fun and easy with the help of our amazing wedding coordinator, Sine. Sine was so bubbly and helpful and was always there when we needed her, via email, phone or in person! She's a gem :) The entire Lutsen resort staff is so friendly and warm and will do what ever it takes to make sure you're pleased. Lutsen truly went above and beyond to make our dreams come true... We are so sad the wedding is over because it was the funnest, easiest day we could of dreamed of all thanks to Lutsen resort! Accommodated all of our unique needs. Made exceptions of their default to give us the experience we were looking for. Kind, friendly, and responsive to our concerns. Very helpful day-of. Food was great. Atmosphere was stunning. Coordinated with our musicians, photographer, florist, and baker really well. We loved our experience! We highly recommend this venue.

With a large majority of our guests flying in from other parts of the country, we wanted to give them a wedding they, and of course we, wouldn't forget and Sine P. and the folks at the Lutsen Resort definitely delivered! The lakeside ceremony site, the beautiful rustic dining room and ball room, and the views off over the lake made it for a magical long weekend getaway for us as well as everyone involved. We recommend going to their wedding weekend event to try the food and meet with vendors they have worked with because it made planning the details and coordinating the big day such a breeze. You do have to use their kitchen and alcohol selection so that might be a negative if you want to shop for deals but trust us, you will not be disappointed in any of the meal, sides, or app options they have (we went with the lamb and London broil beef with wild rice, mashed potatoes, and green beans). The day was so perfect, I almost didn't believe it while it was happening! The landscape itself is a magical back drop for any wedding. The food is amazing, and one thing guests always remember is the food and booze lol. The service was impeccable! Hopefully won't be getting married again haha but 10/10 would do it again at Lutsen!!

We were extremely impressed with Lutsen's staff! We wanted our wedding to feel like a vacation for ourselves and our guests, and our coordinator, Sine, took note and helped us feel relaxed the whole time. If you're looking for a great venue with an "up north" feel to it (and you don't mind the drive), Lutsen is the place for you! We will be coming back for anniversaries for years to come!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Lutsen. The lodge was the perfect Scandinavian feel I was hoping for. The lobby and the fireplace was beautiful. The pub had wonderful food as well as the restaurant. All my guest said what a wonderful unique experience it was ! We also had a blast in the pool!!

We are so happy we chose to have our small "elopement style" wedding at Lutsen Resort. Because we had a small guest list, we were able to get married right on the beach. Our wedding coordinator, Kathy Ann, was great to work with, which made for low stress planning. We lucked out with great weather, and had a beautiful ceremony and great food, followed by a beachfront bonfire. We would definitely recommend!

We had the wedding of our dreams at Lutsen Resort! Our wedding coordinator, Ana, went above and beyond to help out with everything we needed and more, which was not an easy task since we were planning our wedding from a few states away. The resort is beautiful as well as the whole property, and obviously the lake. We appreciated the sequence of different locations throughout the actual wedding day. We were married on the lawn by the beach, then had the social hour outside on the patio, dinner in the dining room, dance in the ballroom, then a beach bonfire to top the night off. The Lutsen staff was very helpful and friendly the day of the wedding. The food was fantastic. We had the pork loin, walleye, wild rice pilaf, and seasonal vegetables. Lutsen has great lodging options: from a normal sized hotel room for just a few people, or renting a whole condo for the whole family. Almost all of our guests at the wedding stayed at Lutsen. Our wedding at Lutsen was absolutely beautiful! We couldn't have been happier with how the day went. Our guests have been telling us how delicious the food was, how unique and cozy the resort was, and even though it was -6 degrees, everyone had a great time! The staff is very helpful day of. Our wedding at Lutsen was everything we ever hoped for and more. From the first moment we reached out until our final checkout meeting they we're always very responsive and very respectful. Both KathyAnn and Alyssa were great to work with, but the whole staff made sure day was amazing. As a gay couple, it can be a a bit intimidating looking at vendors, but rest assured that Lutsen caters to all with a smile. My only advice to the resort would be to update your language on your documents/wedding weekends to be gender neutral.
