  • I can’t say enough good things about Lumen, the staff, and especially our event manager, Sloane. We chose our date so Sloane could be our event manager (she was out of office the previous weekend) and we are so happy we did. She is so kind, professional, and responsive, and made wedding planning easy and fun. The space is absolutely beautiful and the perfect combination of clean/modern and classic (the columns and windows are especially stunning). The staff is so talented and professional that I had a guest come up to me during dinner and point out how impressively the servers set down plates. The food is restaurant quality (way better than average wedding food) and they knocked it out of the park with our signature cocktails. Everything went so smoothly--I have zero constructive criticism and would wholeheartedly recommend Lumen and Sloane to any couple.

  • Stephanie and the whole staff at Lumen was just incredible. So professional and the service was absolutely top notch. The space itself is absolutely beautiful and unique, and made the perfect backdrop to our day. You barely even need to add any extra decorations, it is so beautiful! The food was outstanding, and Stephanie was so accommodating to us throughout the process. I cannot say enough nice things about this space and the staff there. Thank you for everything!!

  • Absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The space is beautiful and unique; the wedding coordinator who worked with us made the process and decision making so easy, and was super flexible and wccomodating to our needs. The food was incredible-we had so many people tell us that it was the best meal they had eaten in a long time! The service at the wedding was over the top incredible. The wait staff clearly took pride in their work and were beyond professional and friendly. The dinner service was classy and non distracting and they consistently checked in with the head table to make sure we all had what we needed. 100x over recommend!

  • I am a bride who recently had their reception at the Lumen. I had the privilege of working with the AMAZING Rose. From the start, Rose was an absolute pleasure to work with. She would often propose ideas and suggestions to help me execute my vision for my wedding day no matter how big or small. Rose helped me work through floor plans, mix and match entrees to my liking and met with me whenever I requested to help me iron out details for my reception. On my wedding day, unfortunately there was a power outage that affected the entire block. The reception was cut short. The general manage did everything possible to get the power restored. He contacted Ameren and even attempted to utilize his personal vehicle as a power source for the DJ.   • Lumen was at the top of my list of dream venues from day one of event planning. I had been to a few events and always loved the blank canvas the space provided. Shortly after getting engaged, my husband and I moved 4.5 hours away from St. Louis. We looked at other venues in our new hometown, but nothing compared so we decided to still have our wedding in St. Louis! While I was in the beginning stages of planning with Danielle, Lumen ownership changed but they made it such an easy process! They honored all of the former pricing and options the previous owner offered us. A few months before the wedding, Nicolle became our contact and while I was worried to change contacts so close to the event date, she was so on top of things and responsive that it was a smooth transition.   • When looking for a venue for our wedding, it was important to us to have a venue that would accommodate our ceremony and reception. We also wanted a venue that offered unique details such as high ceilings, hardwood floors, an amazing onsite planner and excellent food. We found all that we were looking for at Lumen. The minute we walked into this beautiful space and met Sarah, the wedding coordinator, we knew we found our space. Lumen not only offered what we were looking for, but a few extras, lighting, draping, complimentary valet parking and location. Lumen has tables and chairs and linens that are available for use at no additional charge, but we opted to rent our own chairs and linens. It was comforting to know that these items would be provided if we choose not to spend additional money on these items.   • This venue is GORGEOUS, the food is fabulous, and the event coordinator, Sarah Sordo, is absolutely AMAZING to work with. She went out of her way to make my reception perfect!
