  • We hired Laura to do our destination wedding. She helped turn some of our favorite foods into perfectly elegant, delicious wedding menu items that our guests were thrilled with! She was always quick to answer an email, phone call, or message via wedding wire and had perfect suggestions as the pandemic developed to help keep our wedding exactly what we had imagined. Speaking to her on the phone was always delightful, and she was so personable the conversations often strayed from food! Our guests are still talking about her amazing lobster rolls! I wish that we lived close enough to hire her for all of our events/dinners now that we've tasted her amazing food and highly recommend her to anyone considering hiring her. You won't be disappointed!!

She listened to what we needed, made helpful suggestions, and adapted the menu to assure that everyone's dietary needs were met. The food she provided (main dishes, side dishes, and dessert) was delicious and the portions were generous. I highly recommend her catering business.

  • I was very impressed with Laura Cabot Catering right from my first contact. I was planning my wedding reception with her and she was very responsive with each call I made. Her website is gorgeous and helpful and full of options. She really worked with me to help figure out a unique approach to my wedding reception from types of food to seating arrangements to the flow of the crowd. She is super friendly and easy to work with. My plans kept changing and she was so adaptable! Very helpful for a stressed-out bride!

  • Team Cabot catered my Boothbay Maine wedding a couple of seasons ago and my guests are still raving about the well curated wine pairings and delicious hors d'oeuvres. The service was immaculate, every need fulfilled before anyone had to ask. Our communications went seamlessly and Laura had such innovative ideas for highlighting our request for seasonal fare. She's fluent in many cuisines, and dietary restrictions posed no problems. Laura Cabot Catering was a breath of fresh air and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a top shelf event.

  • We had a wonderful experience working with LCC; Laura is extremely talented and a joy to plan with. Our expectations were high, and we were still blown away by the quality of both execution and presentation. Our guests raved over the food, and we were similarly impressed when we finally had a chance to sit down and eat, too! From hors d'oeuvres to the main meal to the late night snacks and drinks, we loved it all!!

  • We had our wedding at a circus school, complete with acrobatics and juggling, but the thing we hear the most about from our guests is how much they enjoyed the food. We timed our reception so that we got to eat with our guests, which is the way to go because this food is too good to miss out on. Laura successfully catered to vegetarians, vegans, and people with gluten, dairy, and nut allergies. Everyone went home well-fed and happy, including an ecstatic guest who for years had resigned herself to not eating at parties due to medical restrictions. The menu was diverse and unique, and the presentation was beautiful. Laura's initial suggestions for menu items were great, and she was creative and flexible, especially for the short time available, in working with us to tweak them.   • Laura was a joy to work with. She helped to ensure that, even during COVID, my (much reduced) wedding was amazing. Her food was phenomenal--fresh tomatoes, amazing fish and steak, incredible oysters and lobster rolls...I could go on. Everything was delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. Her professional staff was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Laura.

  • Laura Cabot Catering does an amazing job. Laura catered both our wedding and our rehearsal dinner... she even dropped off strata for breakfast the following morning! Laura's food is vibrant and delicious, as well as elegantly composed. I literally saw our guests taking pictures of the cheese and fruit display... but the oyster shucking station stole the show! Laura was also very flexible, I wanted to have one of my favorite salads and the wedding dinner and she recreated it perfectly. All in all, we couldn't have been more pleased with Laura and her staff.

  • My husband and I had a blast working with Laura from start to finish. Communication was flawless. I don't think I was a bridezilla, but everything went my way. The food was delicious, locally sourced, very important to me, and beautiful, just beautiful! Her staff were friendly, enthusiastic, professional, even though we had a September wedding, and I am sure they were worn out!

  • Laura was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She listened to the interests and likes of the bride and groom and designed a menu that reflected their tastes. The bride had spent a number of years in South American so she created a very delicious sweet potatoe empanada and used quinoa in one of the dishes. The groom was from Denmark so she sourced salmon from the Faroe Islands. She put together a tasting dinner that demonstrated the creative and delicious items that were discussed. Our reception had 165 guests in an outdoor tent wedding and the event was about a half hour delayed to get to dinner but she managed the timing well and everything from the plated salad to the grilled salmon with a very unique and delicious rhubarb/ginger sauce was perfectly cooked and delivered.   • Unprofessional and rude! LCC Catered our wedding this fall and was easily the weakest link of all of our vendors. We were so displeased and put off by the planning process that we were looking for alternative catering options up until 2 weeks before the actual event. Communication is lacking and professionalism is non-existent. The food was good in the end, but not worth the unnecessary stress of dealing with LCC. If you do decide to take a chance with them and use her bartenders, make sure you add extra wine to your shopping list for the staff to consume while cooking and consider an extra wedding cake since they helped themselves to a good chunk of ours!
