  • I loved my experience at Lana Addison! I worked with Kyle; she was so sweet and professional! This was only my 2nd time trying on dresses. Kyle spent a great amount of time listening to me and making sure she understood what I wanted. She pulled several dresses until we found the one I loved! She was patient with me and joined in our excitement when I found THE dress. Great experience! I love my dress! Also, it came in just 2 months!

  • The Lana Addison staff was extremely helpful and patient. They helped me pick the perfect dress and fit me in for a last minute appointment when my Mom traveled from Dallas TX to see my Dress! Their gown selection is beautiful and I cannot say nicer things about their staff. They listened to my wants and needs and worked with me to help me get the perfect dress (Amy Kuschell "Lennon"). At the recommendation of Lana Addison, I did go up two sizes and when the dress came in, it was huge on me, but I would rather it be too big than to small. The only reason I didn't give Lana Addison 5 Stars is because of their seemstress. She did not speak to me during the fitting and then the estimated cost to get my dress tailored was over a 1/3 of the cost of the dress so I decided not to get my dress tailored at Lana Addison. I felt more comfortable somewhere else closer to my house and the cost to tailor my dress was significantly lower at the local seamstress. I did look around for tailors ... Read more

  • Started with a rough sales lady - very forward and aggressive. Later worked with a new one and the process was fine. They did a great job on alterations and over all I loved my dress and it fit like a glove!

  • The team at Lana Addison Bridal were amazing! From the moment we walked through the door they greeted us with a glass of champagne and amazing customer service. They were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful to make sure I found the dress of my dreams!

  • When I went to Lana Addison, I had a very specific idea in my head of what I wanted my dress to look like. Turns out, what I wanted wasn't the best fit for me. The women at Lana Addison were awesome. They pulled a ton of dresses for me and listened to my feedback for each one without putting any pressure on me until I found the perfect, unique dress I was looking for. Their in-house seamstress was amazing. I couldn't have been happier with the service or my dress, and I came in under budget!

  • My experience with Lana Addison was perfect. My dress came in two months, the alterations were done in a timely manner, and they even stored my dress for 5 months prior to the wedding and I received it the week of in mint condition. They were easy to work with, and I would recommend them to any bride that wants a personal dress shopping experience.

  • They hide details... I bought a dress off the floor. They said alterations would be $200 and they'd clean the dress - LIES. Alterations were $1000, more than the dress and my total was higher than ordering it new with alterations. They spot cleaned the dress instead of dry cleaned so my dress was light brown instead of ivory, not all spots came out to boot. I would NOT use them again or advise someone to go there due to their service. Which is a disappointment since the dresses were beautiful.

  • I was not a fan of this place. The consultant was not very friendly or helpful. We were not allowed to look around at the gowns, they sent us straight upstairs to the fitting room area. Also, I had called a few weeks in advanced to set up a Saturday appointment and they had told me one was not available but when I was there I heard her setting up an appointment for that same Saturday. The dresses were nice and the place was cute.

We do not have all of our dresses on display, as many of them are stored in our back areas. We have private rooms allotted for each customer, and your sales consultant pulls gowns based on the information provided to them. Saturday appointments are in high demand, however brides occasionally have to reschedule, so it is possible that you overheard our consultant filling a recently vacated appointment.   • The initial appointment was good, other than trying one veil on and the manager who I was not even working with said she was adding it to my order! I was like, uhh..hold your horses, when did I say I wanted to order this?! I didn't. So next, my dress is ready to pick up I call and talk to this girl who talks WAY to fast who tells me I can pick my dress up on a Saturday with no appointment. So I drive up on a Saturday and they actually turned me away for not having an appointment. I told her I would just need a few minutes to get it and I was told I could. No. Jaimie was her name, was firm in telling me I could actually never pick up my dress on a weekend because they reserve that time for sales only. I would have to get it on a week day. I work full time in a city 3 hours away, so I told her I would have to take a whole day off of work just for 10 minutes to pick up a dress.     Congratulations on your recent wedding, and we are sure you looked beautiful in your gown. We never add items to a customer’s sales order without their consent. You were likely presented with an estimate of the items you had on with your dress. We present all the items to our customers for them to decide what they would like to purchase at that time. You requested to try on and take your unaltered gown on a Saturday. We like to have a seamstress present when brides try on their gowns for the first time so that any fit questions can be answered. Our seamstresses do not work on Saturdays, which makes your circumstance more challenging. We did make an exception for you to come in when requested even though we were fully committed on that day. We scheduled you at the beginning of the day, before our previously scheduled appointments began, to ensure that we would have a dedicated private room for you. We would have been more than happy to arrange shipping of the gown if travel for you was tedious. All of our wedding gowns are stored in new garment bags. We apologize if yours happened to have a tear, as we would never consciously let a new gown leave our store in a damaged bag.

  • I've shared my review of Lana Addison on other sites, but wanted to add a review here in case brides are using this site as their main selection method. I had an awful experience with this store, and I would hate to have other brides treated this way. It's one of two stores in NC that carry Amy Kuschel gowns, which was my main reason for visiting this store. My original appointment went really well and I decided to purchase my gown. After that appointment, all of my communications with the store have been terrible. As another reviewer mentioned, they do not allow pick ups on Saturday, so I had to take an afternoon off of work to make it to their store. They failed to mention that my sash wasn't in yet and they again wouldn't accommodate a weekend pick up for the sash... After I suggested that they mail it to me, they agreed and charged me for the shipping. We feel it is important to have a seamstress with you at the time of the first try-on so that fit questions can be answered. Our seamstresses do not work on Saturdays. If getting to us was a challenge with your work schedule, we would have been more than happy to arrange shipment of your gown. Immediately upon your expression of size concern with my manager, I, the owner, contacted you to discuss a solution to make you happy. I never stated that I would "only" offer a discount if you completed your alterations with us. I understood your logistical challenge for alterations but still wanted to find a solution that would have satisfied you. I am sure you looked amazing on your wedding day!

  • A beautiful selection of dresses in a medium price range! The boutique is quaint and charming especially while sipping their champagne! I purchased a Martina Liana gown and Paris by Debra Moreland veil (after I purchased a Jennifer Leigh veil that I ended up not liking in person). While the staff was sweet, they were young and I noticed quite a bit of turnaround. I recommend visiting their sister store in Raleigh. Alexia's is classy and sophisticated from start to finish but in a higher price range.

  • This was the first (out of two) places that I went to look for my wedding dress. I knew what styles I didn't want and I think that helped me to decide quickly (fourth dress) on what I wanted. After trying on what became my wedding dress, I rushed to there sister site downtown Raleigh just to make sure I wasn't picking without looking at other options. By the end of the day I gave them a call and placed my order! The staff I worked with was always professional. Always offered my mom and I something to drink and just made sure we were okay and that our questions were answered. I also got my dress tailored there and the tailor was AWESOME...such a sweet lady and knew her job. The only thing to be cautious of is the parking (there is not a lot of it) which is why they only go by appointments. And because of this it was sometimes difficult to select an appointment time that worked for both of us. This was frustrating at first but when I understood why and when I realized I would go in...   • Both my sister and myself got our wedding dresses from Lana Addison. After my sister's wedding we recommended friends and family to Lana Addison so it was a no brainer that I would go there. I immediately fell in love with a dress picked out by a very sweet worker, and we knew it was the one. The boutique is in an adorable renovated old home and the dresses are great (great value too!). The only negative to my experience was when I got my alterations done it became EXTREMELY stressful! At one appointment, no alterations had been done, and it was still pinned from the previous fitting. Then, once it did get altered the bottom of the dress did not look right at all. HOWEVER, the store owners were AMAZING and worked rapidly to make the corrections. Everything turned out beautifully and I couldn't have been more pleased with the customer service despite the "hiccup" in the alteration process.

  • I went to Lana Addison on a whim one day because they had the designer I wanted. Thankfully I was able to get an appointment that day to go look at the dress I wanted. They did not have the exact one (they will charge you a fee to have a dress they don't have shipped to the store for you to try on) so I tried on another one by that designer and fell in love! The dress was gorgeous!! It was also very reasonably priced. The dress looked like it cost 3x what it actually did. So we set up an appointment time for another day so my bridesmaids and mom could come. The shop is a cute and comfortable setting and the champagne they provided helped make it a celebration! The woman who does the alterations does a fantastic job. My only complaint is that my alterations cost 1/2 of what my dress cost, which I think is a bit ridiculous.
