When we started the quest for the perfect wedding cake, we scoped out several different options. Choosing La Joconde was possibly the easiest decision we had to make throughout the entire planning process! We were literally scraping off the cake crumbles at the tasting- the flavors were out of this world!! Not only are the flavors creative, and the perfect texture, but the variety guarantees there is something (or somethings!) for everyone. La Joconde is extremely talented in designs as well so if you already have an image in mind, they will do it just right and better. Working with them was a real treat.

I found Jutta by accident.....clicking link after link after link, and there her cake was. After finding her website, and looking at the beauty of her cakes, I decided I wanted to use her, her designs were what I envisioned my wedding cake to look like. Living in the deep south, I wrangled two of my girlfriends to do the cake testing for me. They had a fabulous time, and Jutta had them try multiple flavors. After much deliberation, I selected her chocolate/hazelnut/carmel cake, and her white cake with lemon/pears infused with lavender. Let me tell you, I am not a cake person, but the following day, I had cake for breakfast. Jutta's cake was super moist, and the flavors were light and delicate. Beautiful, delicious cake, and Jutta was so fun and easy to work with! My now-husband and I went into our cake tasting without the slightest idea of what we wanted, which could have been disastrous--however, with just a few straightforward questions, Jutta designed a simple, yet elegant cake that we loved. We chose a different flavor for each layer, and she was very accomodating when our guest list expanded past our original expectations. The leftover cake in our fridge makes me very happy.....

Amazing!!! You can't go wrong when working with Jutta! She is so talented, and she really works to share the vision of the bride. I came with an idea in my head...I wanted white background with orange tones of paisley stenciled work. She found the stencil and the cake looked BEAUTIFUL...plus it tasted great!
