Kat Green is a great makeup and hair artist. She was so great during our trial when I was convinced on a certain hairstyle, only to hate it the minute it was on my head. She immediately re-routed me to another style which I loved and was perfect for my wedding. She was accommodating and worked with some antique broaches from my husbands grandmother, working with them and carefully arranging them into my hairstyle. The make up decisions she made were perfect for my untrained eye and was willing to guide me through everything step by step. On the day of she had an assistant with her who worked on the hair for my girls and mothers. She was a little harder to get a read on and a few of the girls were unhappy with their styles initially - resulting in some drama and miscommunications. We were able to remedy everything and everyone was happy in the end but it was unclear where the confusion was coming from.

Kat and her team were fantastic. I booked Kat a few months before our wedding to do hair and makeup for myself, the bride, 5 ladies on my side in the wedding and my mom. Everyone looked stunning! And to make the experience even better Kat was easy to communicate with, on time and we had a blast to hanging with Kat and her team while we were getting ready on the wedding day. Some of my friends in the wedding party commented that their hair and makeup looked even better than when they got married. I would recommend Kat for any special occasion for hair and makeup! Kat was incredibly responsive from the very beginning. She also never once winced or batted an eye at the fact that we were a two-bride show. The day we met with Kat for our trial, we had just received some bad news, so my wife and I were a little bit emotional, but once we met Kat she helped make us feel comfortable, and distract us from the sad day. We gave her little information about what our vision for our hair and makeup for the day were, but she created the EXACT look we were going for. She brought two assistants with her on the day of the wedding to help get everyone in, and I wish I remembered their names, because they were equally as amazing. Kat was everything I could have asked for in a wedding hair and makeup artist. She was able to conduct my hair and makeup trial on the day of our engagement photo shoot and was very responsive to inquiries, which was what we were in search of in a vendor as we were coming in from Boise to Seattle and found her through rave reviews here on WeddingWire! Kat gave my mother and grandmother both "makeovers" on the big day and absolutely blew me away with her skills and abilities in making me gorgeous for my big day as well! She traveled to our rental the day-of, was extremely affordable and even went the extra mile and assisted me with my bouquet and flowers. I actually had Kat do my hair and makeup for a boudoir shoot. I have really long hair and she was able to manage it and make it look wonderful! She also did my makeup for the shoot and that lasted all day, even through the heat (I had my shoot outside)! I sent her examples of what I wanted and she asked questions so she could give me the look I really wanted, not just what I thought I wanted. I ended up with makeup with a natural glow and a nice bold fuchsia lip. I felt and looked so wonderful that it made me feel more confident and ready for the boudoir shoot! Kat is MARVELOUS! I hired her for hair and make-up for my wedding and it included myself, my bridal party, as well as both of our mothers. She made everyone look just STUNNING! Kat is simply fabulous. I'm so happy I found her through Wedding Wire. After submitting a request through her site, she contacted me right away. The entire planning process from beginning to end was seamless. I knew Kat would make me look gorgeous for my big day after we met for the hair & makeup trial. DO A TRIAL. Kat was so attentive and wanted to know all the details for the wedding to ensure the look I wanted was pulled off and she did it. On the day of, Kat and her assistant came at 7am to start hair & makeup on my bridesmaids. In total, they did hair for 6 and makeup for 5 and everyone looked great. My makeup stayed on all day and night (12 hours) and my hair looked fantastic till the last dance. Kat really was great, not only for doing such a wonderful job but for also taking the time to learn about me and help me feel relaxed and in good hands while anything hectic came up that morning.

Kat was my make up and hair stylist for my sister's wedding and for my wedding. From the beginning Kat was very nice and prompt on all of her responses and very professional. I was lucky enough to have Kat do my hair and makeup for my wedding. She and her team also did hair/makeup for my six bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law. Everyone looked stunning. I was originally drawn to Kat because her style seemed to focus on natural looking makeup, and that is exact style she was able to provide for us. She did an amazing job of making all 9 of us look glamorous without feeling overdone. When I met with Kat for my consultation I only had a rough idea of what I was looking for. She was able to take my disjointed vision and create a look more beautiful than anything I could have come up with on my own.
