I would highly recommend! The wedding cake that she made for us was exactly how I wanted it and had a classic cake style with a Star Wars twist. Ms. Kathy gave us the best cake tasting experience and has the most wonderful tasting cakes to go with her incredible decorating.

Kathy was amazing to work with. She was so helpful in the planning process and extremely knowledgeable. Her cakes are literally to die for! Every flavor is amazing but we chose the amaretto, red velvet, traditional and chocolate. I’m still receiving compliments on our wedding cakes! She is the best!

Kakes by Kathy was a great experience. Her wedding and groomsman cake were so beautiful and great tasting. She did an excellent job and was such a pleasure to work with. Her prices were very good too. I would highly recommend that you use her for your wedding cake.

Kathy was recommended to me by a former wedding venue owner in the area. She was easy to work with and her cakes look amazing and taste even better. The bride and groom even had leftover samples to take home from the tasting at her studio! For my daughter’s husband - an LSU grad - she created a crawfish boil pot from pictures we brought. It was perfect and delicious!

Kathy exceeded our expectation with our wedding cake! Our ideas were a little unconventional, but Kathy tackled and successfully competed them flawlessly. We couldn't be more grateful for her expertise during the process and for her flexibility when COVID caused our date to move up by 3 weeks. We happily recommend Kakes by Kathy to anyone for any event. You will not be disappointed!

Kathy was helping during our cake tasting session from the flavor to the size of the cake. Our wedding cake was delicious it was a four layer white cake, champagne frosting, and raspberry filling.

Kathy was an absolute treat to work with! Her cakes tasted amazing and the decor is out of this world. She exceeded my expectations and everyone at our wedding loved how the cakes looked and loved how they tasted even more. She was so welcoming and helpful when we had our tasting. We left knowing we would have a beautiful and tasty cake, and we sure did!
