One word - DELICIOUS!!!! - the cake was OMG DELICIOUS.. not the typical dried out wedding cake. We had a 4 tier cake in which we brought in sample pictures of the "look" we wanted. They nailed it! - I'd be happy to share pictures when we get them back! We received many compliments on the cake!

Cake was fabulous! Can't wait to eat the top layer in a year!!!

We worked with Ivy's because they were the vendor that our ceremony/reception site worked with as the cake was part of our package. Not having a choice of vendor made us nervous, but we were pleased with Ivy's. They gave us a lot of options in cake flavors and fillings...and they were all delicious. We made every tier a little different and it was no problem at all. Although we didn't end up needing it, they also offered an additional sheet cake if our count grew beyond what our cake could serve.

We met the staff of Ivy's at the big bridal show at Gillette Stadium. First, we LOVED that they had many samples of cake to try (it was Valentine's Day and they said we could take as many samples that we would like to take home...yay!). The staff we meant were very personable and we decided that day to check them out for our wedding cake. On the day of the cake tasting, Tom (the cake maker) met with us and tried to help us come up with designs. We came back with a picture of what we wanted for our wedding cake (to look like birch logs with autumn leaves on it) and he said that he would try to create it just from the picture. The cake design turned out GREAT! And the cake tasted delicious! I am definitely coming back to Ivy's when I need another cake made. Yum, yum, yum!!

Our cake was included in our reception package, so we went to Montillio's and Ivy's to taste the cakes. Ivy's cakes tasted much better and had more options without additional cost! They did great work on the frosting (tinted to match the swatch from the bridesmaid dresses). Tasted AMAZING!

We've always loved Ivy's cakes and they did not dissapoint on our wedding day. Tom was great to work with - had great ideas and was really laid back but so helpful in understanding what our vision was. We had one tasting and a follow up meeting - very easy process!

Ivy's Fine Cakes and Pastry is amazing! I tried the cake at a wedding expo, went back to the booth and brought home three more to try with my fiance and mother-in-law to be. Those were so good I drove to one of the bakerys they have to buy a full cake. My favorite was the strawberry bavarian cream with the white cake and buttercream frosting. After our wedding my finace and I decided not to freeze our cake but to eat the top and we did! Now next year we will be buying a new cake for our anniversary. i would highly recommend this bakery!

We were very satisfied with Ivy's. We sampled a few different places and found this cake to be the best. The price was also much less than their competitors, so it was a win-win.

My fiancée, my sister and I took off one day in April to taste cakes. After eating cakes with grainy sugary frosting (Party Favors), beautiful but expensive cakes (The Icing On The Cake), cakes that tasted like a donut from Dunkins (Montillio's), and very bland cakes with great mouse frosting (Konditor Meister), we dragged our full bellies to Ivy's in Canton. My sister created a scoring rubric to rate the cakes. Her form required us to eat the cake first, then the frosting/filling/mousse separately...and then eat them together. It sounds crazy but I highly recommend tasting your cakes this way. That's how I figured out that Konditor cakes have no flavor- in my opinion. Tom presents his cakes in the tasting this exact way. We tasted the cake, then the cremé filling, then ate them together. Let me tell you these cakes and that Bavarian cremé is unbelievable! Tom took our design ideas and added to them and we were able to create a very unique design that reflects our Winter Wedd... Read moreing theme! His prices are incredibly affordable. Just to try all the flavors out, he made a birthday cake for my fiancée over the summer with the same flavors as our wedding cake..... There were no left overs to take home! The wedding cake itself was absolutely phenomenal! Many of our guests went back for a second piece! We ate the top tier over this past week. AMAZING CAKE! Only a couple of issues: Once we met with Tom, we never spoke to him again. I didn't have a main contact person to deal with and I didn't like that. I would have been ok being passed off to a coordinator, but it should have been explained and that person should have remained a consistent contact We designed a cake with our tiers off centered. We provided a drawing, however on the wedding day, our tiers were offset in the wrong way. At that point I just didn't care, but if you request anything out of the ordinary, double check.

We used Ivy's for our wedding cake through a package at Lake Pearl Luciano's. Our first meeting with them was disorganized and we actually didn't like the samples given to us all that much. I'm REALLY happy we stuck with them though because the wedding cake itself turned out amazing. I've never had a better tasting cake. It was pretty easy to pick out a cake as we went into the shop and picked one of the displays, only changing the color ribbon and flowers to match our wedding colors. The cake looked exactly as we expected and tasted much better.

The price for the cake was pretty good but the cake was not what I asked for. They also couldnt do a heart shaped cake or whipped cream frosting. I just picked this place because my reception place worked with them often and they were cheap and most other bakeries wouldnt do anything I requested without charging outrageous prices. I just wanted a simply but good tasting cake most places couldnt do that.

Color of the flowers were slightly off when viewed in the low lights of the reception hall. The rest of the cake was exactly as we requested from the design to the taste.

They did our wedding cake and groom's cake. They were a little slow on communicating and returning phone calls, but well worth the taste and the beauty of the cakes. We had tried 3 other cake places and ultimately went with them because their cakes tasted 100X better than any of the "ritzy" cake places. They did a beautiful job and everyone loved our cake.

Ivy's Bakery was one of the three bakery options for my wedding cake as a part of my venue package. I tried all 3 bakeries and definitely preferred the cake and filling selections offered at Ivy's the best. They included a 4-tier cake as part of my package, which was wonderful. Working with them was fairly easy, and they allowed me to send in special ribbon to be used on the cake. Unfortunately, the cake was not at all what we expected on the day of the wedding. We specified two colors, one navy blue, and one blue to match the special ribbon. Unfortunaly, one of the blues was WAY off - they used a bright turquoise blue instead of navy blue. How they got these 2 colors is beyond me. Also, the cake was supposed to have our initials, but it looked like a child had written the initials on there. When I contacted the vendor after the wedding they were completely unresponsive and, eventually, rude. There was no apology and they said that "we could work something out" on my next order. Wh... Read moreen I asked them to be more specific, they never responded back. While the flavor of the cakes were as great as they were in the trial, the appearance was disappointing at best. And the customer service was, well, non-existant.
