Kathy at Hursts' Berwyn Jewelers was able to work with him and his budget, and help him design a ring that is absolutely perfect! I could not be more happy! I love Hursts! They are local gem and you cannot beat their quality or service. We got my engagement ring, wedding band and all my wedding jewelry (gorgeous pearls) from them. Though I looked at a few other makers while shopping, I went specifically to Hursts because they were an Artcarved dealer. And when they didn't have what I wanted in their store, they were more than happy to get me samples of a few rings that interested me so I could try them on. Their great customer service along with being very knowledgeable really helped me make a decision on what kind of metal I wanted, and I found a ring that really fits my style and budget. Everyone there was great to work with!

The selection isn't huge-- nothing like the jewelry district downtown, which I just discovered. But they make up for it in their kindness and warmth. Every time we've gone in, they've remembered us and we found the perfect engagement ring and wedding bands here. They carry designers like Varna, ArtCarved, and Hidalgo (the three designers we bought from), but Hursts' doesn't have the entire line in stock at any given moment of course, so make sure you peruse the websites of the designers to find what you really want before you go in. Every time you enter, they'll offer you water or soda, and you will find personal connections with everyone there. It feels like one big family. I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants even the ring-buying part of the wedding planning experience to be memorable!
