We decided to pay the premium price for their service because of the amazing food, exceptional presentation, and their personal touch. We signed a contract a year in advance of our wedding and I distinctly remember both Aaron and Jessie sitting there looking us in the eye and saying we owned that date. We paid extra for staff to set tables. The staff that shows up says they don’t have the people for that. 20 minutes before the ceremony begins I’m in my three piece tux setting tables and meeting some of my guests for the first time as everyone pitched in to help. The venue owner called his wife and kids to come help. There was no chalkboards, no menus, and no storyboard, all of which we paid for. What we got was various pretzel sticks with the left over gravy from the Southern dish as our dipping sauce. We have pictures of what was served at the tasting compared to what was served at the wedding and you would think it was two different companies. We also paid extra for the staff to cut the pies. Once again, friends and family did that as the staff there wouldn’t. It was heard from several guests that the staff was complaining that they got stuck at this wedding while everybody else got to go to the other event! We would really like to know what happened but the problem is that neither Aaron nor Jessie will talk to us. We’ve contacted them three times and each time it’s like talking to a black hole. We asked for our money back for the extra services and half the 18% gratuity they pre-charge. A little over $600 is what we deserve back. No hard costs. Just for services we paid extra for and didn’t get and half the gratuity.
