  • Good things about Holey Moley: They have a ton of delicious flavors to choose from (our favorite was lemon-blueberry old fashioned), and they have multiple vegan and gluten free options. They allow you to rent tiers to put your donuts on, and they’ll deliver to your venue (for a small fee). We paid $250 for ~110 donuts and delivery, which I thought was very affordable. Bad things about Holey Moley: Communication wasn’t great. We never got a final invoice (so I only know our final total after our card was charged), and I had to reach out multiple times for clarifications on the flavor choices we made. It was also confusing to choose flavors – there was no one-stop location that had all the details, and we were emailed a list of choices that was much longer than the one we found on their site. I would personally not choose Holey Moley for an event again.

  • These donuts are GOOD. We wanted to do something a little more casual for our wedding reception dessert and had actually been to one other friend’s wedding in Milwaukee who used Holey Moley. The few donuts we had at that wedding were great and we were really curious about the rest of their selection. We sampled a whole line up of flavors (it was incredibly hard to choose). They have quite the selection, as well as some great seasonal flavors and gluten free and vegan options (which were also delicious). Working with Holey Moley was quite painless and easy to set in motion. We had built a donut wall for our reception, as well as provided some decorative trays for overflow in front of the wall, and on the day-of Holey Moley came in with our freshly made selection and covered our wall and dessert spread beautifully, like the pastry ninjas that they are. Our guests were raving about the donuts, and it was also incredibly convenient as a dessert to just grab-and-go. We definitely... Read more

  • I cannot say enough good things about Holey Moley! Their team was incredibly easy to work with and the quality of their work speaks for itself. We chose Blueberry, Coffee Cake, Vanilla Glazed, Red Velvet, Cookies & Cream, and Apple Cider for our flavors.

  • Ordered a donut cake for our wedding - it was a hit! Christine at Hospitality Democracy was super helpful with ordering, payments and set-up and delivery. The "cake" was beautiful and donuts were delicious!

  • We went with a "donut" cake from Holey Moley. It was a great experience start to finish. We were able to get a sample dozen donuts (you pay up front and they subtract from your total). We were able to pick and choose different donuts to create our tower of donuts - which was a HUGE hit at the wedding! And super delicious. They also were incredibly accommodating when I inquired about gluten-friendly donuts - we were able to sub a half dozen GF at no extra charge. They put them in a separate box so we could tell which ones were GF which was really thoughtful. We love Holey Moley and thought this was a fun alternative to cake - especially because we were doing a day time brunch wedding. We worked with Christine through Hospitality Democracy (parent company of HM) and she was great to work with. Really responsive to emails and was even the one to drop off and set up the donuts :) It does get a little pricey with stand rentals, delivery, etc. BUT wedding cake is astronomically e... Read more

  • When we were planning our wedding over a year ago we knew we wanted doughnuts rather than a traditional cake. We had a few options in the area but we were sold on Holey Moley because of their connection to many other local restaurants (they are “owned" by Hospitality Democracy) and their experience with catering. The contract was simple and straight forward. We were able to pick up a box of different favors (you can do it over the internet which is a plus when you’re on the go) and taste-test at home. We highly recommend planning it so that you pick up your box to try on a Sunday morning — by far the most fun part of wedding planning was trying all the doughnuts! From there we narrowed down the flavors that we wanted (we settled on 10) and shot them an email. Just like that we were done — they had all the information they needed and all that was left was our final deposit. Our wedding guests were blown away but the taste and “idea" of doughnuts (it didn’t hurt that we built... Read more

  • We love wedding cake and cupcakes...but decided we wanted something more for our wedding. We decided to go with doughnuts as our dessert and absolutely love our decision! We had gone to Holey Moley's downtown location one Sunday to try the doughnuts before committing. To our surprise the associate ringing us up had doughnuts at her wedding the month before and as she described her wedding dessert...it was exactly what we wanted. We had a hard time communicating with Holey Moley throughout the process and often were waiting on their response but once we connected we got everything sorted out. They made excellent suggestions for the types of doughnuts and delivered them to our venue on the day of. When I first looked at our display, before the reception started, I had panicked because we looked short of doughnuts. No one else knew and we got so many compliments on them that we quickly forgot. After the wedding, Holey Moley worked with us to assure us we weren't short and offe... Read more

  • We had Holey Moley doughnuts for dessert at our rehearsal dinner and they were great! We had the dinner catered by Smoke Shack (also part of Hospitality Democracy), and Ryan made the whole event run seamlessly. We had a tough time deciding where to get dessert from, so we decided on Holey Moley pretty late in the process. Even though they had a really busy weekend, they were still able to fit us in their schedule. We weren't able to get the complete variety we wanted, but that was definitely more our fault than theirs, due to our inability to make a decision. The doughnuts were yummy, and we took the leftovers home for the groomsmen to snack on while they were getting ready the next day. I'd totally recommend them if you're a doughnut fan!
