  • We chose this venue for my best friend's bridal shower. While the food was good, the venue gorgeous, and one server (Fitzbroy, I believe his name was) was attentive and polite, the experience following signing the contract all the way through the event was unpleasant. Communicating with Susan DaSilva via email was unpleasant. I had to follow up on several occasions after not getting a response and was told I was going to get charged extra when I was just trying to understand what we could and could not do at this venue for the bridal shower. On top of this, Susan never communicated with the banquet captain, Judith Sanchez. Susan informed me that when I arrived on the day, we would be able to begin setting up at 11am and that she would communicate this to Judith. When I met with Judith that morning (after waiting around for almost 20 minutes) I was told the servers would need 45 minutes to set up which cut into our time to decorate before the event.   • We used the Wyndham for the our wedding block and for transportation for our wedding. Marianne was amazing throughout the entire process! We had to keep adding rooms because we had not anticipated the amount of guests that would stay over, and she was so helpful and responsive. As for transportation, Kenny and the team did a great job in transporting our guests to the reception, the church, and other downtown areas. Thank you so much for helping us during our wedding weekend! Lastly, we used Vanderbilt's for the after party and it was so much fun! There is plenty of space for all guests, with pool tables, a dance floor, and outdoor space. It was perfect. Thank you Marianne, Kenny, and all who helped make our weekend special!

  • We used Hamilton Park for guest accommodations during our wedding weekend, and they were wonderful! Marianne was so helpful and communicative all year long. Their transportation department made sure we were well taken care of and provided transportation for just about everything! Everything went very smoothly and the guests were very happy! Everyone also enjoyed going to Vanderbilt's every night for more fun. Thank you so much!

  • My husband and I had our wedding at Hamilton Park Hotel 10/14/17. Throughout the whole process I worked with Laurie Guerrero, Catering Manager. She was awesome! Very responsive to my millions of random questions and great to work with overall. Getting Ready- I was lucky enough to get the presidential suite to get ready in. It's a huge separate living room-plenty of space to get 8 people looking beautiful. It's also connected to a large bedroom next door. It was a beautiful space for bridal portraits, plenty of natural light and floor to ceiling windows. Hotel rooms- my guests were all happy with their rooms- the hotel was just renovated in March 2017 so rooms were fresh and clean. Ceremony- we held our ceremony in the courtyard and it was certainly beautiful, although kind of small. I had 127 guests and it was a little tight but everyone fit.   • We hosted our wedding on 9/29/17 at the Wyndham Hamilton Park and I do not even know where to begin thanking all of the staff there but especially Laurie Guerrero, our maitre d' Lauren and our server Maggie. Laurie was amazing from the very beginning. No question was too silly for her to respond to and she was always prompt and reassuring. She remembered every detail of what we wanted and was just a delight to work with! When we booked this venue, it was still undergoing major renovations, which came out beautiful. Our confidence in her played a HUGE role in booking. She went above and beyond to make us happy. Lauren our maitre d' was perfect! She ran the whole day without a single thing going wrong and was so attentive and calming, especially when I felt overwhelmed.   • We knew from the start that choosing a wedding venue was going to be the most difficult and the most important part of the wedding planning process. Everything you do depends on the venue and all of your other vendors have to work with your venue. It is also the most memorable part of the wedding experience. When we started hunting we went to all the typical specialized wedding venues and they all came across as stuffy. They knew they were going to fill every weekend and they had their system laid out and were unwilling to budge or make compromises because if you didn't take the date on their terms someone else would. And they all hit you with the used car salesmen style method which made us uncomfortable. Then we met Tara at the Wyndham Park Hamilton Hotel and everything fell into place.   • We had the most amazing wedding at the Hamilton Park Hotel in July 2016. Everyone from the front desk to the chef to the catering manager Tara made sure that everything was perfect for us and our guests the entire weekend we were at the hotel. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great place to have their wedding.

  • I was in contact with Megan from the very beginning until the very end of planning my wedding. She was there with me throughout everything and made everything so easy and comfortable! Everything was great, we had our room block, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and brunch all at the hotel and it was all amazing! I highly recommend Megan and her team, they are fantastic and I’m so happy I chose WHPH!

  • Cost effective for the NJ area. Great having a hotel at same location. Service by the chef, wait staff, maitre d, on the day of was terrific. Tara, our event planner, was very easy to work with. The Bridal suite you get with booking is amazing like an apartment. We got ready there and it was perfect.

  • We hit a few bump in the road initially with communication due to high staff turnover. Once the catering director position was finalized, however, everything went very smoothly, and the hotel did reach out to rectify the situation when things fell through the cracks. Tara did an excellent job keeping us in the loop and all of the details in check. The day of, things went very smoothly. The food was excellent- everyone kept commenting on how perfectly cooked the filet mignon was. The service was wonderful. Leo even added uplighting to our venue the day of free of charge because he thought it would look nicer. All of the staff were very thoughtful and diligent.

  • I so badly want to give a positive review, because things started out great, but eventually we ended up disappointed. We were engaged for two years and in that time the hotel came under the management of Wyndham and Joanne, our wedding event coordinator, left and we started working with Nicole. Things quickly started to change once this happened. PROS- Food! We went with 3 buffet stations and were so happy we did! Delicious!! Everything is also all in one- hotel rooms, rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, reception hall. The décor is very neutral which allowed me to create the feel of the room that I wanted! It turned out beautifully. CONS- Constant issues with our hotel reservations. Rooms weren't connecting that should’ve been, no A/C in some rooms, smoky smelling rooms, guests charged too much for our block, my family was charged for the comped rooms we received through our contract.
