My wedding cake looked beautiful and exactly as I requested it to look. The bakery scheduled the delivery time based on when we wanted to serve the cake. When it came time to cut the cake, the frosting and middle of the cake were almost impossible to cut through and the cake crumbled. The center of the cake was frozen. Our catering staff was not able to use one entire layer because it was frozen and unservable. Our guests that did get cake, said that it was extremely dry, crumbly, and did not taste good. After the wedding, when I spoke with the bakery, they said that our catering staff must have placed that cake in the freezer and that was the reasoning for why it was frozen. Our venue does not have a freeze or frig onsite. After explaining that it could not be the catering staff's fault, they said that I did not schedule the time correctly for the cake to sit out long enough. My wife and I visited several bakeries and did several wedding cake tastings. We had high hopes with the first few bakeries which all ended up falling below our expectations. We then came to Half Baked Co and were blown away. First off, the staff was very nice and pleasant to work with. Then, when the cakes came out for tasting, we were convinced that we found the right place. The cake we ordered was perfect. It was exactly what we wanted. We purchased our wedding cake and it was just an amazing experience from the beginning of our initial conversation with Natalie to the cake tasting and day of wedding! The cake was everything we could have expected! Natalie was a true joy to work with as she was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Half Baked Co. made a show-stopper of a cake for my wedding! I had the most amazing experience with their lovely staff members from our first correspondence via email to the last bite of vegan honey lavender cake my new husband and I savored on our wedding day! They were so accommodating of our preferences for myself and our family, making a vegan and nut-free three tiered wedding cake. Plus, we had something for everyone! The top layer was decadent Death by Chocolate, the middle layer was Honey Lavender, and the bottom was Red Velvet, all of which were delicious (and yes, I made sure my coordinator saved me and my hubby a slice of each)!! And finally, the cake was gorgeous. The brought to life our rustic elegance theme with a naked cake with gold leaf surrounded by beautiful blossoms!

This place is amazing! They literally created a cake batter specific to my allergies and it still tasted delicious. I’m so happy I was able to eat cake at my wedding. Super professional and really friendly. A+!!!

From the friendliest and nicest staff to work with to the most delicious vegan cake—Half Baked tops them all. The tasting and design process was very relaxed without any pressure. They were honest about the size we needed and were open to our changes as they arose. Everything turned out just how we expected and beyond. We even stopped in for cupcakes several months later and they immediately remembered us. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

We are so happy we decided to go with Half Baked for our wedding cake. Natalie was so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. After having tried so many flavors of cake, we went with carrot cake (my husband doesn't even like carrot cake, but that's how good it was!) They are a bit pricier than some of their competitors, but honestly the cakes are so good and beautiful it was totally worth it. Not to mention that their cakes are healthier than other bakeries. We also ended up adding a bunch of mini cupcakes and platters. They cake was beautiful and so was the cupcake display. This is our second speciality cake by Half Baked, and they woo us beyond every time. We accidentally discovered them while running an errand and saw their brick and mortar bakery, and it was love at first bite with their cupcakes. And my then boyfriend always returned to get me valentines cupcakes and then my birthday cake, which was beyond impressive, I refused to cut it at my birthday party, it truly was a work of art like nothing I had ever scene before. We hired Half Baked Co. for our December 29th wedding and we're so happy we did! The whole team were always on hand to answer any questions and everything went seamless. We ordered a smaller cake, plus an assortment of cupcakes, donuts, and macarons. Everything was beautiful, delicious and the set up they did was so pretty! I'm so thrilled to have found Half Baked Co! I have a variety of food sensitivities that I was worried I wouldn't be able to enjoy my wedding cake! Half Baked Co created a custom batter for me and my husband and we ordered a beautiful petite cutting cake for our reception! Reasonably priced and so delicious! Half Baked made us the most beautiful rustic wedding cake! They also made a dessert bar for us all completely gluten free! I have celiac and wanted to be able to enjoy the desserts at the wedding and they were able to accommodate! I will always be so grateful to Half Baked because they came to our rescue less than a week before the wedding! The baker I had booked flaked last minute. Needing a gluten free Wedding cake at the last minute was scary but they put us at ease! They put together a last minute taster for us and were so helpful and gracious!
