I had such a wonderful experience with Lisa! She responded to me in a timely fashion, was able to create my wedding day vision exactly the way I wanted! I will definitely be considering her for future events!

Lisa did wedding hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother (6 people total). She was willing to show up really early (6:30 am) to get started so we could be ready for pictures by 2:00. She finished with 1.5 hours to spare, which was good that we weren't rushed, but I did have to re-apply some makeup (i.e., lip gloss) before any pictures were taken. My makeup looked amazing - dramatic yet still elegant, which is exactly what I wanted. And I liked how she did all of my bridesmaid's makeup slightly differently to highlight their unique beauties instead of the exact same doll look for all of them. She did everyone's hair beatifully as well, and made sure to touch everyone up with more hair spray before she left. The extensions I bought from her to use in my hair were high quality. Lisa has great passion for her work and years of experience with Brides and it shows in all her creations. She did a very beautiful job with my Bridal hair and make up and after initial consultation took into account all of my preferences and suggestions for the Big day. The hairstyle was picture perfect and the make up looked fresh even after long hours of being in the spotlight attention thanks to great quality products and Lisa’s skilfulness and attention to detail. She made it on time for a very early start on a Saturday in Washington DC and not only helped me look and feel beautiful for my wedding but also did a great job with my Maid of Honour and my Sister. Lisa did an amazing job for me and my two bridesmaids. Everyone was really happy with her work and we all got a ton of compliments. Even though our weather was humid and rainy, our hair and makeup stayed looking fresh all night because of the extra care Lisa took with everything. She was so flexible with timing, and even stayed a little later to help us take a few pictures and then retouch hair. Lisa Yaffe is the best. I am one of Lisa's new clients for the evolve volumizer. Lisa did a great job with uninstalling/re-installing my evolve volumizer, coloring and cutting my hair. I felt very comfortable in her home . My hair felt nice, clean and manageable after she was done; Lisa listened to my concerns and offered valuable input. She also went beyond by giving me tips on the best way to detanagle and style my own hair. I went to Lisa for just a consultation -but ended up getting the service done on the same day - Lisa was very flexible in allowing me to make sure I had sufficient funds in my account before cashing the check. Lisa is good at her job, very authentic, and is very truthful. I plan to go back to Lisa for my future hair needs and will be referring her services to my family and friends.

I LOVED Lisa!! She was amazing to work with. She came over for the consult and helped a TON with my entire look - jewelry, hair piece, hair style... it was because of her that I went in a slightly different direction than I was going in with the jewelry especially, and I'm sooo glad I did. Lisa was great. We had 9 girls total getting their hair and makeup done for my wedding. She said she wanted to start at 6:30 in the morning, when my wedding started at 5:30 PM. At first, I thought that was a little too early, but I am so glad that she knows what she is doing, because we surely needed that time. Not that we were pressed for time, but I feel like she knows that it is better to be ahead of schedule than behind...that is when the stress kicks in. I originally thought that I would be freaking out during the day of my wedding, but I was so calm. I truely believe that one of the reasons why I was so calm is because of Lisa and her time management. Not only was she great with timing, but she did everyone's hair beautifully. Lisa from Hair and Faces did a wonderful job on my hair and also my mother's, MIL, and bridesmaids. I got a lot of comments on how nice I looked. Lisa was able to fit everyone into the time frame that I had. Everyone in my bridal party really liked how they looked. I would recommend Lisa.

Lisa did a beautiful job on my hair and make up for my wedding. Though my bridesmaids weren't as thrilled with their hair as I was, I thought she made everyone look beautiful. Having done a run through, she knew exactly what she was doing and recreated the style beautifully. She took an idea I brought to her about having a ribbon tied in my updo and made it beautiful. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was. She helped put on my dress and veil and did so much more than hair and make up. She scouted the perfect location at my venue to do the hair and make up which made for beautiful pictures.
