  • This place makes it so much easier to ENJOY considering the finer details of reception/ceremony plans because they take care of all the basics. You know the environment, the view, and the food is ineffably awesome! That allows the freedom to spend more time selecting music and photography vendors. Staff are so polite and helpful! Very welcoming!

  • My theme going into the wedding reception was "elegance". I hesitated to name that because when I think of elegance, I don't think of people having fun. Somehow, the Officer's Club pulled off being both of those things! The building and view was BREATHTAKING. The guests who weren't crazy about dancing loved the beautiful view and the guests who wanted to dance were not disappointed. I highly recommend this place for a wedding reception.

  • I had my wedding reception at Ft. Belvoir Officer's Club and it was a great experience! Edwin and Trinetta are professionals and have years of experience helping brides make decisions and guiding them through the process. My husband and I have been married for 6 months and just the other day when we were looking through our photographs choosing prints we both commented on how glad we were that we had our reception there. It was a beautiful venue with history which was exactly what we wanted. Our guests enjoyed it thoroughly - especially the view of the water and being able to step out on the patio in the fresh air. The staff at Ft. Belvoir made everything so easy the day of and they took such great care of us! We were busy taking pictures outside so we didn't get to enjoy our cocktail hour. I was just thinking how thirsty and hungry I was, when all of a sudden a sweet woman came outside with a plate of appetizers and two glasses of ice water for my husband and I! It was great and so ... • BEST DEAL IN TOWN.. SERIOUSLY STOP SEARCHING!!! I am SO happy we chose the O-Club. Our entire guest list was from out of town and the O-club blew them away. If I had a dollar for every compliment I received on the food, service and view.. it would have paid for the entire wedding and i still would have made a profit. THE VIEW IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. If people don't remember a thing about your wedding.. they'll remember the view. The workers are amazing also. THANK YOU TRINETTA AND EDWIN for working with my billion questions and calls. You made this process so easy and Justin and I are still in shock about how PERFECT the night was! I'm so sad it's over

  • Ft. Belvoir's Officer's Club served as an amazing venue! The staff was extremely helpful, flexible, and considerate. Trinetta was so wonderful and fantastic; she made sure the night ran as smoothly as possible and was a great individual to work with for such an important and special occasion. The venue has an amazing view, great food, and is very accommodating!

  • If you are looking for a great, more "inclusive" venue where not every single item is a la carte, this option is for you! It's a beautiful location overlooking the Potomac River and the food is terrific. We opted to have both the rehearsal dinner and reception here and we were extremely pleased with both events. The vendors they recommended for D.J., flowers and cake were all outstanding as well and the cake and part of the flowers were included in the "package" price. Edwin in particular was extremely responsive and gave us great advice all along the way, since we started planning the wedding almost a full year ahead of the event. Our wedding ceremony was at 5:30 PM on a Saturday and we had the Club pretty much to ourselves for the entire evening, as no other events were scheduled. We also rented a house on Post, called the Thermo-con House for two nights, which served as "wedding central" for the bride and bridemaids on Friday night and early Saturday for hair and make-up and ... • Most amazing vendor in the Northern Va area. If you are looking for a wedding venue and have access to Ft. Belvior, this is your place. My wife and I were lucky enough to be married here. All inclusive for one GREAT price. Attention to detail awesome staff. And all of the recommended vendors are amazing. They work the venue as seasoned vets and work with pricing to make it all unforgettable.

  • I did not have my ceremony here, but I did have my rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and reception here. I was very happy with their services and their packages. Everything was set up exactly how I had it pictured, and the food was delicious. The staff is friendly and very helpful, particularly Trinetta, with whom I worked the most. I would certainly have another event here if the occasion called for it!

  • I would've given 5 stars except on day of our wedding the cake was not order so you can probably imagine how disappointed we were. We were given a substitute cake but it wasn't the 3 tier we designed with their preferred vendors. They did meet with us after & gave us a small refund for cake so their customer service was good. I was told this was 1st time in history of this happening so I doubt it would happen again....beautiful venue & our guests raved over the food & lemonade

  • Loved having my wedding reception at the Officers' Club in November 2016! Trinetta is amazing and so helpful she worked with me on seating assignments and fitting our guests in the room in the best way possible. I could call at any time and someone would be there to help me. I liked having the package deal to choose what food I wanted and it included my cake, alcohol, linens, table items, etc. They were even helpful when I was concerned about how to decorate the room beforehand and offered to help do that as well. Overall everyone at my wedding had a great time at this venue and loved every part of it. My only one thing I did not like was they took a little while to begin cutting my cake and then didn't walk around to offer anyone to take a piece then not long after cutting the cake and leaving it on the tables (while people were on the dance floor) they began to walk around and take the cake away (most likely to just throw it away) which irritated me a lot but there was nothing I coul... • Ft. Belvoir was such a great place to have a wedding. We worked with Edwin when considering to book the facility. We held our ceremony and reception at the Ft. Belvoir's Officers Club on the main level, Mt. Vernon room. There was plenty of space for dancing, tables for all the guests, places for food, and even extra tables for cake, DJ, etc. The view was the best part. Our room overlooked the Potomac River and all of oue guests loved the view in the evening as the sun was setting on the water. The wedding ceremony and reception can easily accomododate anywhere from 150-350 guests in the largest rooms and less than 100 guests in the smaller rooms. We had the added benefit of an open bar for our coctail hour, some small tea lights, centerpeices, a wedding cake and a champagne all also included in our package upon booking at Ft. Belvoir. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I will definitely book at the officers club again.

  • I made an appointment to tour the venue but the person I spoke to on the phone wasn't working when I arrived. I'm not sure why she scheduled the appointment if she wasn't going to be there. An older man awkwardly showed us around but he seemed to be falling asleep and not at all interested in getting us to sign a contract or "sell" the venue to us. It was difficult to get our questions answered and they did not seem very accommodating. They kept pointing to the view probably to distract us from the disgusting smell and hideous decor. The only upside was the price -- it was the cheapest (they don't charge tax) but it was by far the worst venue. You get what you pay for.

  • The View – AH MAY ZING!. This is the reason we chose the facility. It went beautifully along with our beach themed wedding (closest we could actually get to the beach lol). The venue is all inclusive and comes with food items, table set up, linen, napkins, centerpieces, open bar (standard/premium depending on what u chose). Best value for your money – The wait staff that night was wonderful and they ensured that ll the guest we taken care of. Glasses were never empty and dirty plates did not sit long. Few guest complained about the beef being tough- however the beef I got was delightful (think they just wanted to complain lol) – I was told by sooo many ppl this was by far the best and the most fun they ever had at a wedding. I am glad we were able to pull everything off. Working with both Trinetta and Edwin, they always gave their professional opinions based on table sizes and table set up (color of napkins etc etc). Their recommendations were spot on. Overall I would recommend t... Read more

  • I was so excited to have my wedding at Ft. Belvoir Officers Club. I didn't mind collecting drivers licenses from ALL of my guests because hey, we lucky enough to have it on a military base. My father is a retired Navy Captain so I have grown up on military bases and have gone to O clubs in the past. I was so happy to celebrate my reception at the O Club at Ft. Belvoir. It started off great with the planning process. I knew we were not going to be eating 5-star food at the reception- I was paying for the ambiance at a riverside location. The day of the wedding things fell apart. They had scheduled only ONE bartended for my wedding reception, unbeknownst to me. Yes, 135 people and one bartender. During the party, I asked the manager on site, Edwin what was happening with the bar situation. He ignored me. So unprofessional. The food served at dinner was bland, over priced at $150/head and frankly embarrassing to me. We were told the filets would be cooked Medium (per our prior tasting) a... Read more
