We had Nightsong play at our wedding and they were the BEST! They understood the vibe we were going for after our initial conversation which made working with Bennett and the team especially easy. The band was also wonderful at reading the audience - they knew exactly what to play and when to play it based on how people were reacting to what was currently being played. The dance floor was packed all night long and many people who weren't even at our wedding have commented on their hearing that the band was spectacular. I would recommend Nightsong to everyone and anyone!!!

Nightsong was fantastic band at our District Winery wedding on 11/16/2019! Bennett was great to work with ahead of the wedding as we finalized the details and timeline for the day of. Once Nightsong started playing at the reception we never saw the dance floor empty out. They kept everyone entertained the whole night on the dance floor! A month after our wedding and guests have still been complimenting Nightsong for the show they put on. Everyone had a good time and danced away thanks to Nightsong!

Our wedding was amazing and it was the band that made it a party! Everyone loved the band and was so impressed by their talent and song choices. It was the best night and we danced the WHOLE time! Tim, the leader of the band was very engaged through the entire process prior to the wedding to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He also was very organized which made us very comfortable and at ease because he coordinated everything with our planner and other vendors to make sure timing was perfect. They also offered to help with the sound system during the ceremony so that our guest could clearly hear the officiant/readers/. Their song list is HUGE and they even played songs off the list for us! Including our first dance which was so special! We were able to pick the songs we wanted and during the wedding they really read the crowd and chose the song order to keep the party going! No one wanted to stop dancing! The saxophone and guitar sounded so pretty in the room and really enhanced the atmosphere for our guests. They played beautiful background music during dinner as well! This is the best band I have ever seen and I have been to many weddings. The singers are incredible and they engage with the crowd the entire time! We even danced on stage towards the end of the night and something we will never forget! Overall best decision we made was choosing Round Midnight as our wedding band!

Free Spirit blew us away on Saturday night! We were on the fence about getting a band, but after seeing Free Spirit perform, we are confident that hiring Free Spirit was the best wedding-related decision we made. I always say that the sign of a good wedding is how many people are on the dance floor, and the dance floor was packed the entire night! Multiple guests told us that Free Spirit was the best wedding band they’d ever seen, and I totally agree. Free Spirit truly went above and beyond, from accommodating all of our (somewhat obscure) song requests to keeping the crowd engaged the entire night. So many who attended our wedding woke up Sunday morning with big smiles, sore feet & no voice. We danced & sang all night long to a fantastic song selection & excellent musicians & singers. We hired DC Synergy to perform at our wedding reception on 10/13/2019. Now, I could swoon on and on about Jarreau and DC Synergy, but let me try to summarize why you should pick them for your wedding. Jarreau. That is seriously all you need to know to make a good, informed decision about choosing DC Synergy. Jarreau is the band leader, lead singer, and functions as the emcee of your wedding reception. For our wedding,  he was  super responsive and expressed interest and attention to detail in all of our meetings, phone calls, and emails. He was an invaluable resource in helping us plan the timeline of our reception and making sure that it was followed through! A LOT more goes into having a live band at your wedding than you might expect, but Jarreau handles it all behind the scenes and coordinates with any other vendors he needs to. Now for the music. The drummer had some incredible solos, Eric (the lead guitarist) could fill in for any rockband in the country. He even performed as a solo acoustic guitarist at our wedding ceremony  and did a fantastic job providing our ceremony music. And man, the horns section! Go with the horns! The horns really give this live band an enormous range and UMPH than any other instrument group can. Ourselves and our guests are still swooning over how fantastic DC Synergy was. Do yourselves a favor and hire DC Synergy for your event, you won’t regret it!

Thank you so much for a magical evening! For the past two days, I have been receiving phone calls non-stop! Every call starts with, we LOVED the band! A musician who was there was so impressed with the professionalism of each and every band member! Your play sets were perfect for keeping the energy level moving and hopping. Bennett and Nightsong were everything you could possibly want for in a band. Everyone was dancing the entire evening, even the eighty and ninety-year-olds. My grandmother told me she hasn't danced in twenty years at a wedding, even her other grandchildren, but couldn't not dance at ours. There selection of music was perfect. People came up to us saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to because of the BAND. Please pick Nightsong if you want an unforgettable evening!! From the start, we wanted a wedding that represented who we were. Though Anya and I come from very different backgrounds, Jewish and Buddhist foundations, we are both very similar in our pursuits of happiness. So when it came time to choose the band for our wedding, we decided it was one area we didn’t want to compromise. We wanted the absolute best and the band had to reflect our diversity and spirit. After many interviews and searching, we picked Free Spirit and couldn’t have been happier. The band is so eclectic, they had our guests of all ages on the dance floor from the beginning to the very end of the party!
