Elizabeth met my fiancé and I and went over every detail she was very professional and got back with us quickly when I wanted to change my flavors around. The cake arrived on time and she arranged the flowers perfectly! The cake tasted delicious and I even got some compliments from my aunt who is a great baker! Would recommend her cakes delicious!!!

Elizabeth did a wonderful job of making my vision come through after a couple of changes she even arranged my flowers for me. The wedding cake was moist delicious and a focal part of our special day so happy we made the decision to go with her!

After trying her cake samples at a bridal show we booked a consult and decided on her for our wedding cake. We got married this past fall at Limestone Hall in Lexington and we could not be happier. We chose a different flavor on every tier and they were all moist and delicious, my fiance is not a huge cake person and he even commented on how great our cake was. I wanted simple and sweet and she delivered! The cake tasted great and looked beautiful, she was also very professional and nice to work with thank you Elizabeth!

My fiance and I wanted to make sure our naked style cake would be moist so we ordered my mothers naked style birthday cake from Elizabeth a few months before the wedding before booking. Both the birthday cake and wedding cake were excellent delicious and beautiful! She was very professional and easy to work with and my cousin is having her do their cake next summer. Could not be happier with the compliments we got from the wedding cake from our guest would highly recommend.

Elizabeth was such a great person to work with! She worked very well with us through every part, from tasting to design and the final cake. On the wedding day when I saw the cake, it was just perfect on what I wanted and it was delicious!! Would so recommend Elizabeth to anyone for any occasion!!

My cake from Elizabeth Lowry Cakes was phenomenal! She truly made my wedding vision come to life with a beautiful three tiered cake with cascading roses. Elizabeth was so easy to work with! Our cake was beautiful and delicious!

Not professional at all. So disappointed. The cake was not what was aked for and if you dont know how to do something dont say you can. She also kept calling my daughter the day before and the day of to bring the cake earlier than she was supposed to. The venue had a specific time for vendors. The cake was dry and flavorless and not professionally decorated. She put the topper on without using the support plate that was sitting on the table right under the topper so the topper sank into the cake and had to be removed and the icing fixed and then the topper put back on. The layers started sinking. One guest ask if we were going with a whimsical topsy turvy theme. Not professional, very amateur.

Made my cake on wrong date. Wrong color of cupcakes were made. Late to consultation. Wouldn’t send me the contract for a week after asking for it. If you look her up on Facebook, you’ll see she’s done this to plenty of other people. She only offers to bake you another cake, no reimbursement on her wrong doing. Research her before you book.

After seeing her work and what was delivered was 2 different things. The cake (4 tier) was falling. The cake showed thru the frosting. It was incomplete decorated. Elizabeth had talked the bride into live flowers (assuming to save her time) and not only did she not have them, she didn’t stay to place flowers from the florists. It was such a disappointment considering a cake is a centerpiece item. Tried to contact her after, no response. Picture speaks for itself!

My Mom is a cake decorator and initially planned to make my cake. However, as the date drew closer we realized that was just to stressful a task to handle. We searched Wedding Wire and found Elizabeth just a few weeks before the wedding, hoping she was available. Meeting with her she informed us that she was available and her personality, flexibility to work with me on my vision, and examples of her work made us know she was definitely the one for us! She delivered the cake right on schedule and added the fresh flowers the florist had left in order to coordinate with the rest of the room. We were so very pleased with the five-tier cake she created for our special day!
