Let me preface this by saying with my multiple food allergies, we struggled for months to find a caterer. After I posted in a local wedding group looking for suggestions, Jeff commented and invited us to come to a group tasting that weekend. He had made several dishes that fit in my restrictions for us to try. We booked with Jeff a couple days later. The food turned out amazing, we got several compliments on everything. Jeff was great and even came up to check on if we wanted seconds. We used their cake cutting service too which was so helpful. Jeff made our catering experience so smooth and easy- plus great food!

I'm so happy we chose Dutzel's catering for our wedding. The food was great as well as the service. Jeff was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed.

Of everything about our wedding, one of the top conversation topics was the food. Jeff and his team were exceptional in professionalism, value, presentation, flavor, everything! It was the only caterer we tried, and we were sold after the first bite. Jeff offered so many delicious options that it was difficult to choose what to serve! When you think of BBQ, you probably think casual and messy. Think again. This was gourmet BBQ. The BEST food we could have imagined. (Seriously. I’m still dreaming about that macaroni and cheese!) On top of that, the BEST service possible! They even cut our cakes for us!

Dutzel’s catering was the best choice for our wedding! Lots of delicious food for the best price around!! We heard from many guests how much they loved it! And plenty of leftovers to keep enjoying our special day over and over! Very friendly service and easy to work with! Highly recommend!

The 5 star rating is well deserved for Jeff ! He was great to work with! He was flexible and accommodated all our needs. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and will be sure to keep him in mind for any future events. My guests were very pleased with the food and I have heard nothing but great things! It is a great feeling to know all my guests not only liked the food but LOVED it. The Brisket ,lemon pepper chicken, mashed potatoes,baked beans And the Mac and cheese were a hit !Amazing food for an amazing price.

Jeff was amazing to work with. He allowed us to pay as we went along all the way up to the week of our wedding! The food was amazing...especially the baked beans and cheesy hashbrowns!!! MUST HAVE'S!!! He set up the buffet and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Can't say enough how pleased I was with the food, service and everything! Thanks so much Dutzel Catering!!!!

From the beginning Jeff was so responsive and didn't tell us no. We wanted to add things here and there and his response was always yes. I've been to a friend's wedding and the food was outstanding. Our wedding was the same. Appetizers were hot and the main course was delicious. If we ever need catering again there is no doubt we will use them. Plus the price, you can't beat it!! Thank you

Dutzel's food is amazing. The loaded mashed potatoes were a favorite and many people have complemented the food after the wedding. I never had to answer questions or help with set up, other than making sure there were tables for them. I do not know if this was done by my friend who was doing "day of" coordinating. They left the leftover food for us to take home and freeze, upon request, and it has been heating up nicely!! We added the pulled pork to a frozen cheese pizza and it was amazing. Wish I could have went back for seconds the first time, but was a bit busy; I did make sure to load my plate down the first time though! Highly recommend as they were professional and very accommodating. The price was cheaper than HyVee as well.

Jeff catered our daughters rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. We had about 230 for the reception. The food was awesome. I couldn't find anything to complain about. Everyone was very complimentary on the food. Hot , delicious and tasty. Would recommend him to everyone.

The food was delicious and literally the day before the wedding we had huge problems with our venue and Jeff was so great about working with us! We are very happy with catering!!

My wife and I had a fantastic experience with Dutzel’s at our wedding recently. We chose to serve barbecue at the reception and I’m so happy that we went with Dutzel’s instead of paying a premium to go with a local BBQ joint. The prices were very affordable, and everyone I’ve talked to since the wedding has complimented us on the food (especially the burnt ends)! On top of the food itself, the service was very organized and friendly. We’d definitely recommend Dutzel’s to anyone!

Jeff was great! He answered all the questions I had in a timely manner and was on time to the venue. We received a lot of compliments on the food, everyone loved the loaded mashed potatoes! I would highly recommend Jeff Dutzel to cater any event you need. I would love to use him again for another event.
