Doubletree offers an all inclusive package which is very nice! The additions that come with the package (chairs, chair sleeves, linens,etc) were cost effective. The only downfall is the taxes that are applied. My experience was good for the most part, the only issue that happened at my wedding was they gave the bridal suite to another bride. They did end of giving me another suite with a connecting room. It worked out but then staff seemed very clueless on the agreements discussed with other staff members. It is a nice place to host wedding and reception!

I will start by saying that my family and I looked at a TON of wedding ceremony & reception venues. What attracted us to the Brownstone was their price points in comparison to other venues & how much was automatically included - ultimately the deciding factor on having our wedding there. In the beginning, when we were being "courted" for our business, we were very pleased - the team we worked with was responsive, answered our questions & worked well with our wedding planner to negotiate a contract that we were satisfied with. Unfortunately, it was the months after signing the contract that became problematic. While we were able to get most of our requests/questions addressed, it was not without A LOT of effort on our part - following up on unanswered emails, calling, etc. Which as you can imagine for a bride can be quite frustrating & exhausting, when you're working with a lot of different vendors! Read mores left unanswered, I was told that the venue had several "corporate events" that were going on, & that my email would be responded to when they had an opportunity to respond. This was quite alarming for us & knowing that several events were going on at the same time as our wedding, we did NOT want to receive that type of service the day of our wedding. Ultimately, after a conversation on expectations, we did see a change in the level of service. Overall, the day of our rehearsal & wedding was fine - the venue looked amazing and we received a lot of compliments , so we are very appreciative of how much the venue included (UPLIGHTING!!!). However, I was made aware post-wedding that while we had everything outlined in our Banquet Order on what the hotel would be doing, the day of the wedding, the hotel did not follow through on a lot of the setup items, making it problematic for our team. If you do decide to go with this venue, make sure to document EVERYTHING in writing!

This place is amazing! Nicole and her team did such a wonderful job of making our wedding something truly special. The wedding package they offer includes great linens, beautiful decor, uplighting, and I can't say enough about the food! I highly recommend using this venue for a worry free and affordable wedding experience. They include so many things that many other places we looked at charge extra for. Fabulous bridal suite, groom's ready room, and a wedding suite with champagne and special treats at the end of the night.

Originally holding my wedding at a hotel wasn't my first choice but with having all of our friends and family from out of town it was the option that made sense. Now, I can't imagine getting married anywhere else and having it be more amazing. The way they are able to transform the banquet rooms to become so beautiful, magical and dreamlike is beyond my comprehension and truely art. But the best part of booking with Doubletree Brownstone was Nicole Dones. Without her I don't know how I would have managed planning a wedding. She is so kind, patient and understanding of every request. The package they provide for the complete wedding is also what drew me to the hotel, such as including uplighting and linens. You get to go to CE Rental right down the street and choose from tons of linens.They were so nice quality and beautiful that my guests were amazed! I was even able to choose a purple sequin option for my cake table that was stunning. And finally the food was the icing on the cake. The food was absolutely phenomenal and multiple guests commented it was the best food they've had at a wedding. But best of all was how wonderful the serving staff and bartenders were- so kind and sweet. Book this place for your wedding!!!

We chose this venue after visiting at least 10 others. Everything leading up to booking was just so easy. Great options and wonderful service. We work with Natasha who has been helpful. We had a little hiccup and she is flexible and understanding. We couldn't have chosen better!

We absolutely loved the Double Tree for our wedding. We worked directly with the Catering Sales Manager Katelyn and she was absolutely wonderful. Anything that I needed throughout the entire wedding planning process she was there to help me with. Everyone that I communicated with there was very helpful, timely and professional. On the day of the wedding the even staff were wonderful and promptly provided everything that we needed or could ever want. The space was wonderful, the food was wonderful and everyone said that it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. I would gladly recommend this venue to anyone.

This place is amazing and so is Katelyn Freeman. She made this process easy and painless. She is amazing and the staff as well as the service at Brownstone was amazing. My family and friends spoke so highly about the rooms and customer service at this hotel. The collaboration with CE Rentals is amazing, they had every color napkin and tablecloth you could ask for. The food was amazing and Chef was so nice and came and greeted us himself at our tasting. I love Doubletree and want to get married again just to do it all over. Katelyn Freeman was our wedding coordinator at the Brownstone and she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with all aspects of our big day. The food was amazing, the staff was extremely polite and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about Katelyn and her staff, they truly made my wedding memorable and perfect!

We had our wedding reception at the DoubleTree on May 30, 2015. We could not be more pleased with our selection of this venue. Specifically, we worked with Katelyn Freeman to plan our event. She is amazing! She pays great attention to detail, responds to emails quickly and truly made the process fun and easy. The planning staff was good, catering lead was good, catering staff was below expectations. They didn't seem to be properly trained, stood in front of the bridal couple during speeches, served by he gentleman first at the parent table. Service was a disappointment.

The Brownstone was a fine place to have our wedding reception. Although I had multiple people giving us different information, the event went well. The food tasting was very impressive but the food at the reception seemed totally different. The mashed potatoes didn't have much flavor and the carrots were hardly cooked. We had a duet plate of chicken florentine and prime rib. The chicken was cooked well but the prime rib was basically roast beef with no sauce. The cocktail hour was disappointing. The hot crab dip was totally different than when we tasted it. The roasted vegetable display was a bunch of grilled vegetables on a tray. Totally different than expected and advertised. There should have been olives, hummus, pita, and vegetables. Not just vegetables. The space was set up very well. The servers were a whole different story. Hi! My husband and I used the Brownstone Hotel for our wedding reception. Originally, we were going to have our wedding ceremony there as well but about 3 months before the wedding I was able to find a church to have the ceremony in which was my preferred option. The hotel was very understanding about us changing this detail and they worked with us to figure out the best way for us cancel the ceremony option without loosing a ton of money. We were definitely appreciative and thankful for them working with us. The main reason why the Brownstone does not get 5 stars from us is because of the service we received from Katelyn Freeman. I have to say we were not at all pleased with Katelyn. Katelyn did not do well with follow-up emails. After meeting with her about specific details, we expected to get some type of follow-up email from her addressing our concerns and outlining them in email so that we know that we are all on the same page. The chef was extremely pleasant and he worked with us on getting the menu items to taste exactly how we wanted them to taste. He was flexible with the recipes and even took suggestions from us. He made the experience more personal and we appreciated that.
