DJ-Z Music did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding DJ-Z pays special attention to detail, making sure they have the exact time-line of your wedding, your music choices, and any other special requests you may have. We gave Mike & Jared a general idea of what we were looking for from them, and they blew us away! The dance floor was full all night long, and all of our guests kept commenting on how great the DJ & MC were, and how it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The party lasted 5 hours, and Mike & Jared had our guests dancing the entire time. I cannot thank Joe, Mike & Jared enough for turning our wedding into an unforgettable party!!!! Joe was beyond flexiable and accommodating to our wedding needs. His professionalism and genuine concern for making your day perfect is value enough in itself. The music was exactly what we had organized with him and is ability to adjust and problem solve on the fly was above and beyond. His interaction with the guests and accommodation to the younger (children) crowd was brilliant.

We hired DJZ for our wedding this September. The entertainment was amazing! We had 200 people at our wedding and Joe did a fabulous job of getting EVERYONE out on the dance floor and keeping them there! So many of our guests called after the wedding to let us know how much the enjoyed our reception and especially the DJ. They all said they never had so much fun at a wedding before! Hiring DJZ was the best thing we spent money on for the wedding!

If you are looking for a DJ that does it all, Joey is your guy. First he's extremely flexible -- you can select from literally thousands of songs to add to your personalized playlist, allowing for as much or as little control as you desire (or have time for). I was in the latter category and left it all in Joey's hands and I couldn't have been more pleased. He walked me through the entire sequence of events and explained which music he generally plays during each event (i.e. cutting the cake, bouquet/gaurder toss). So, if you are like me and have no clue what the best dance music is, no WORRIES! Joey extremely talented in creating the perfect mixes to get everyone on the dance floor (yes even grandparents!) Joey also has an amazing Emcee presence! He will go out of his way to make sure he pronounces everyone's names correctly, which I hear that not ever DJ does. I've been to dozens of weddings, both as a guest and a caterer, and I've never seen a DJ as enthusiastic and competent as Joe. He takes the guests into consideration when selecting the music and makes sure everyone has a great time by interacting with guests, young and old, and making sure everyone has a great time on the dance floor.

DJ Z Music does a great job getting people onto the dance floor! They had the everyone up and dancing at our wedding! They are willing to work with you to come up with whatever style playlist you are interested in and have great ideas for songs to use for entrance, cake cutting, etc. if you're not sure which song to use. Our wedding was in August 2010 and we still have guests telling us that it was the best and most fun wedding they've been to. I definitely credit DJ Z Music for this! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Joe is AMAZING!! I have a big family that LOVES to get up and have a good time! He has so much energy you can't help get up and dance! My husbands family is a little more reserved and every single one of them were up on the dance floor! I I lived in NYC at the time so I could only meet with him once before the wedding and he wrote down everything I wanted and he delivered :) During the wedding I wanted to dedicate a song to my husband and all I did was tell Joe the song....the words he said when he announced the dedication is a moment my husband and I will never forget. DJ Z did a great job for my DIY outdoor wedding reception. You spend so much money/effort on food and decorations for your reception, but the thing that really matters is whether people have a good time (and stay the entire time); DJ Z had people on the dance floor all night long. He knew how to keep a party going and energize a crowd. He was very flexible about the evening's schedule when we got behind, accepted requests from the guests on demand, and was very attentive to feedback from me and the guests. We gave him an eclectic collection of music to meld together (from both my father and me to try to appeal to the different age groups of the guests). I felt that in general, these playlists weren't particularly followed (or maybe we weren't clear enough about which songs needed to be absolutely played) -- but in the end the evening was so successful that it didn't really matter.
