My cousin described our wedding as "The EDM Wedding" which is exactly what we wanted. Music is very important to us and Wroyal absolutely CRUSHED IT! She gave us 110% of what was promised. Working with Wendy was very easy! - We had a call early on to discuss options, expectations, and throw some ideas around. - Then we started putting together a couple playlists (music for the cocktail hour, ceremony, reception, dancing) on youtube and spotify. We had this ready for her maybe a month and a half before the wedding. - About a month before the event Wroyal sent us a planning sheet to fill out and on the week of the wedding we had another call to discuss specifics. Wroyal had music ready for the guests who arrived early so that they weren't sitting around in silence waiting for things to get started. The ceremony music worked REALLY well too! Wroyal helped us smoothly make some announcements during cocktail so we could gather family for pictures. The first dance and parent/child dances went off without a hitch. And we had a lot of fun during the dance. A LOT. When I first started looking for DJs, I was looking for someone with more experience mixing electronic dance music. It was kind of hard to find someone with that specific kind of experience. I actually did find a few but Wroyal's professionalism and positivity put her way out in front of all the other DJs I spoke with, even the ones with more EDM experience. Her style was heavier on the Pop, Rap, hiphop R&B side (she was upfront about that) but EDM is quite popular now and she was confident with the songs that we brought up during the first call. The dancing was so much fun. We allowed our friends to make requests and Wroyal played them between the songs in the list we provided. In the last 20 minutes we went up to her and said "ok, the let's finish strong and only play songs from our list for the rest of the night". I hope she recorded her mix for us because I think the last time I was that hyped from music was at EDC Vegas 2013. She did AMAZING! The dance floor went crazy! She not only allowed songs to build up and reach the biggest drops but kept the energy going based off what she saw on the dance floor. She seamlessly rolled into the best parts of next songs and got the entire dancing floor going like we were at Echostage. We had specific requests and a pretty clear idea of how we wanted the music of our wedding to turn out but it was also quite clear that if we gave Wroyal free reign of the music, she would have done just fine without any direction from us. When you're looking for vendors, ask questions that lean on them for ideas, suggestions, and advice. If the vendor knows what they're doing, they will give you some great responses and Wroyal did just that. Good luck wedding planning!

One of the most diverse and responsive DJ's I've seen thus far! I've seen her perform as a singer and she translates the same amazing energy into DJ'ing. Wroyal went above and beyond what we wanted for our wedding. She was so easy and fun to talk to before the wedding, but she was also very professional. She used a playlist we put together for her as a basis for the vibe we wanted and went off of that. Our guests could not stop dancing and telling us how awesome the music was the ENTIRE night. She helped give us the perfect day. I would choose her 10/10 times for any other events in the future. She did an incredible job and I highly recommend her for your event!

DJ Wroyal is the absolute best. Sure, you’ll read reviews about how “good” other DJs are, and if you want an okay reception -- go with them. But if you REALLY want someone who is incredibly professional, down-to-earth, kind, flyy, and able to keep your party going the ENTIRE time, book DJ Wroyal ASAP!! True story: we almost missed out on having a DJ for our wedding and looking back, it would have been a huge mistake. We had a super-tight planning timeline (about six months) and no planner. Wroyal swooped in like a our fairy DJ-mother and helped us get our day-of schedule together. Due to scheduling conflicts, we were unable to meet prior to the event, but she never let a week go by without some kind of communication - whether through text, email, or phone call. Just book her, you will NOT regret it. We loved having Wroyal dj our reception, the dance floor was packed all night. She reads the crowd so well and was able to target the youngest and the older guests to keep everyone dancing. She was so professional and concise throughout the entire planning process and was very accessible. She helped keep our reception flowing by announcing the events we had lined up. Her energy was INCREDIBLE. I truly don't think we would have had as much fun without her. I didn't want the night to end! We couldn't have imagined having anyone else for our reception. Wroyal is truly amazing. She knew exactly how to read the vibe of our guests, and picked songs that got people onto the dance floor for literally the entire night. My husband and I only thought a handful of our guests would dance, but once Wroyal kicked off the reception with her song choice, nobody wanted to leave the dance floor! From beginning to end, Wendy was amazing, professional, and responsive. She is so reassuring and you really feel like she knows what she is doing, which is something that is so valuable to a couple planning their wedding. On the day of the wedding, she was an amazing MC and she kept everyone dancing and everything flowing flawlessly. Not to mention that she is a firefighter as well as a DJ and when my husband's grandmother fainted, she was right there on the spot helping out and keeping everybody calm. DJ Wroyal was a hit! She was very accommodating, flexible, and easy to work with. She remained extremely professional during our experience with her, and was able to provide song recommendations for events during the reception that we hadn’t thought about.
