My husband and I could not have been more pleased with Sebastien's amazing work at our wedding! With the craziness of Covid, we postponed our wedding from June to October and Sebastien and Michael were amazing in getting everything set up for us and putting us at ease. Sebastien's professionalism and great taste in music made for a great dance floor even with less guests and social distancing - our guests had nothing but great things to say! Sebastien incorporated our last minute song requests and the ceremony music was flawless as well. If you go with Sebastien and Michael you will not be disappointed!

DJ the mood was the most perfect person to DJ our wedding. He was extremely easy to communicate with, very responsive, and gave us great feedback for song suggestions. We had several phone calls, text and emails leading up to the wedding to make sure we were on the same page. Michael showed up on time, set up quickly and was ready to go before many of our vendors. During the ceremony and reception he did an awesome job of reading the crowd and playing music to keep the dance floor packed. He also has an extensive library and taste of music for all of the “in between” moments (cocktail hour, pre ceremony seating etc. ). Would highly recommend him to anyone needing a DJ!

Michael was amazing… The weather affected my wedding being outside and everything had to be brought inside at the last minute he was so flexible & was able to play my favorite song to walk down the aisle to as well as incorporate all the playlist that I sent him for different music genres. My friends and family said It was the best wedding they had ever been to!!

Michael was great from the time I hired him until he played the last song at the reception. He was so accommodating and many of the guests commented on how they loved ALL of the music...from the slow and sweet dinner music to the fun dance songs. I will hire him again if the need arises and I would strong recommend booking him before his schedule fills. Affordable and friendly too!

This review is long overdue - but if you're looking for a DJ or MC, Sebastian was the best! He was both the DJ & MC for our wedding at Barr Mansion in December 2019. He was hands down just fantastic to work with - so relaxed, patient & flexible. We felt like we had been lifelong friends! He was responsive to our needs and our last minute requests. And everyone had such a great time, which was really the most important thing to us. Family and friends are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding! This was honestly one of the best decisions we made, so if you are still looking for your DJ or MC- stop. You will not be disappointed!

We were married on September 5, 2019. Despite the unenviable task of programming all the music for the wedding of two total music nerds and satisfying the most diverse crowd of 150 people possible, Michael nailed it and exceeded all expectations. He deftly handled our equipment needs, a combined indoor/outdoor venue, countless special requests, walkup music, cocktail music, dinner music, dance music, and the added complexity of a live band. Our wedding was memorable for many reasons, but the music stands out most of all. I had an 83 year-old woman, a 24 year-old man, and a 9 year-old girl all tell me that we had “THE BEST MUSIC I’VE EVER HEARD AT A WEDDING.” That says it all. Michael went the extra mile in so many ways; I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

We worked with Michael, who was unavailable during our event date, who introduced us to Aaron who was our DJ for our event. Our families come from very mixed backgrounds (Mexican-American and Midwestern) and Aaron did a fantastic job somehow finding a way to mesh all of the diverse music together. We were so impressed by his professionalism and his work ethic and HIGHLY recommend Aaron.. and since Michael recommended him to us, we are sure Michael is also a DJ of the same caliber!

DJ the Mood was the perfect compliment to our non-conventional, all-night wedding. Professional, yet personal, he was a pleasure to work with and got the whole crowd of all ages dancing for hours. Me wife and I are very particular about our music taste, we hate top 40, and he was able to perfectly tailor his set to our needs. Our gratitude is immense- highly recommend, 10/10.
