Dianne was amazing! She instantly made me feel comfortable from the second I walked into her house. I had bought a dress and it needed alterations which Dianne did perfectly – and she also added beautiful straps and a keyhole back. Dianne did such a wonderful job, gave great suggestions, and I loved the finished product – not to mention she’s just awesome to be around. My mom also came with me and wound up having the dress she bought reconstructed and it turned out beautiful. My only regret is that I didn’t find Dianne sooner or I would have had my entire dress made by her. I cannot say enough good things about this woman!

I knew I wanted a very special wedding gown, something elegant, unique and striking. Traditional bridal shops had nothing to offer. I had a very clear vision of what I wanted so I quickly realized I would need to get it custom made. I sketched the design out (not at all what I would call a terribly sophisticated sketch though) and brought it to Dianne. We were a perfect match for each other. Immediately, we connected on this beautiful vision. She gave tips and pointers on design and fit, helped me walk through fabric choices (literally! We met in the garment district to look at many stores' offerings. She suggested ample trim options.) The fittings were a collaborative effort, anchored by her amazing attention to detail, consummate professionalism, wonderful craftsmanship honed by years of gown-making experience, and a wit that made each visit a pleasure. It was a golden, glimmery work of art. Dianne is a tremendous dressmaker. She listens, guides, adapts, and quickly becomes a friend through the entire process.
