My husband Mark and I were married at Dexter's Inn in September of 2014. John and his staff made our wedding weekend the best weekend of our lives. The location is beautiful and the quality of the service is incredible. We never once had any stress about our venue because John made it so easy to plan and organize the weekend of our dreams. I would tell anyone wanting an outdoor wedding to marry at Dexter's Inn!!

John, Helen and their staff went above and beyond for my wedding weekend extravaganza. It was all hands on deck for my wedding as I had a lot of specific decor and things I wanted to do. John and Helen never once shied away at some of my ridiculous suggestions. The guests that stayed at the inn raved about the comfortability, affordability, decor, landscape, and delicious breakfast. Dexter's Inn is beautiful, comfortable and makes you feel like you are on top of the world. We had a little trouble with weather and the Dexter's Inn staff took care of it effortlessly. My guests had fun all weekend and were well taken care of. THANK YOU TO JOHN AND HELEN AND THE WHOLE CREW AT DEXTER'S INN FOR MAKING MY DREAM WEDDING COME TRUE.

I recently had my wedding at Dexter's Inn and had an absolutely amazing weekend, start to finish, much in part to the staff and accommodations at Dexter's Inn. The Inn owner John was very helpful from the start in planning and vendor recommendation all the way through the wedding being there for everything I needed. Getting married isn't inexpensive but I would say there is a great value in selecting Dexter's Inn as your venue. The best part of the whole weekend was having our entire family able to stay with us onsite for the whole weekend. I would definitely recommend Dexter's for a beautiful outdoor wedding.

My husband, Matt, and I had our wedding celebration at Dexter's Inn last September! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend! John and the rest of the staff were excellent to work with and were so helpful throughout our entire wedding weekend! Our family and friends are still RAVING about how much fun they had at our wedding! Everyone (even a full year later!!!!) tells us its the best wedding they've ever been too! Dexter's is picturesque, quaint, romantic, rustic, laid-back and extremely reasonably priced! It was the first and last venue we looked at! As soon as we stepped foot on the grounds, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for! I recommended Dexter's to everyone who is looking for a memorable location for their wedding! You will not be disappointed! I wish I could share our pictures on here, because the amount of love everyone had that weekend shone so bright in all of our photographs!

Dexter's was the perfect place for our wedding. We had the entire Inn to ourselves, filled with family and friends for the weekend. John, the owner, is extremely laid back, and accommodating. We could not have asked for better service. He catered to our needs/wants without question. Dexter's truly made our wedding day about us. Many of our guests were also very impressed with Dexter's, and we had a lot of people asking how we found such a cool venue. I highly recommend Dexter's to anyone who is looking for a destination weekend wedding in the mountains. They provide the most beautiful scenery, friendly staff, and the price is right.

Hello! My husband and I were married at Dexter's Inn on 7/14/12 (three weeks ago)! We had our rehearsal dinner on-site there the night before. We had our entire bridal party and immediate family stay on site with us (about 50 people). I cannot say enough good things about our experience. John Augustine and his team bent over backwards for us from beginning to end. Our ceremony was gorgeous, overlooking the mountains and was followed by the best reception ever (I'm not biased or anything)!! The reception was in a tent outside on one of their tennis courts. The tent was lined on the inside with twinkle lights. At 11pm when the music shut off, we all set off Japanese lanterns. If you are looking for a wedding weekend experience that is fun, warm and beautiful, this is the perfect place. I wish I could have been a guest at my wedding. :)

My wife and I were married at Dexter's in June 2012, and had been planning our wedding with the help of John the innkeeper since summer 2011. Everything about the experience was top notch: From the get-go John was incredibly helpful to us in wedding-planning. He was on-the-ball and thorough, and simultaneously laid back and unimposing. The wedding itself went off without a hitch (minus epic rains that barely made a difference, except further demonstrating how flexible and hard-working John and the Dexter's staff are). As for the inn itself, ground are beautiful and well-kept, views are stunning, building and facilities are clean and comfortable. It's a place where one really feels at home. The game room and some of the more funky-shaped rooms out in the barn/annex are great for kids. Couldn't have asked for more.

We had our wedding at Dexter's on an incredibly rainy day, but it was still great. John and his staff went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect; they wiped chairs, put down some temporary flooring, and even shuttled guests so they wouldn't have to walk in the rain. I can't say enough about the lengths they went to to make our day great. The setting is really nice with great views of Mount Sunapee. We did a tent wedding outside. The inn is very "quaint" and has the nice inn fee to it. it is well maintained. We really enjoyed the party barn as well. It was a great place for our guests to hang out afterhours. It had pool, a great poker table and other games. If you book the property for a wedding, you are allowed to use the whole property for Friday and Saturday night. We loved that it was a good place for our guests to meet up.

Absolutely outstanding! Our daughter, Jana, got married there on Sept 5th. The venue is amazing. A lovely country B$B with game rooms, tennis courts, a pool and LOTS of acreage, woods. A beautiful view for an outstanding outdoor ceremony. The innkeeper, John, is absolutely fabulous to work with, knows TONS about how to make everything work and steps in to help in lots of ways. WE could not have been happier.

As the mother of the Bride I was worried about every detail. John was a wonderful host who took care of all the details and helped us just relax and enjoy the day with our guests. We enjoyed the Inn for the entire weekend. Josh and his staff were accommodating and very professional. Years later family & friends still rave about how wonderful Dexters Inn was! Highly recommend.
