David Zipse was an amazing addition to our wedding day! He played the music at our ceremony and cocktail hour and I cannot stress enough how amazing he was! Easy and responsive to work with he made sure we had an amazing experience with his services!

David was a great secret addition to my wedding. My husband and I are military and live in Germany. We planned most of our wedding through emails. David worked with my wedding schedule and made the event so much better.

David Zipse played the piano and the keyboard during my only daughter's and my son-in-law's wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner in September at the Josephine Butler Park Center in Washington, DC. His performance was absolutely outstanding and everyone loved it and couldn't complement him enough! He played with such a joy, dedication, perfection and enthusiasm for many, many hours! He is such a talented pianist, so professional, so nice and very classy! He can play all kinds of music. His music made the whole wedding so wonderful and just absolutely perfect for the newly wed couple and for all our guests! He received a huge and well deserved applause on the end of his performance. David Zipse was absolutely amazing, and I can't recommend him enough! He made my wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour & dinner) so magical; we received so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved the pianist and how splendidly he played! Every step of the way, David was so accommodating and professional. We made dozens of special requests for songs, including a very complex rendition of our favorite Steely Dan song for our recessional hymn, that David learned from a youTube video I sent him, and he totally nailed it- he is SO talented! We asked him to come a little earlier to rehearse with our wedding singer, and he came even earlier and stayed late. David is a class act; and we could not have hired a better pianist! Thank you so much for everything, David!

What else can I say? David was amazing! He was quick to respond to emails and extremely easy to work with. I had specific requests for ceremony music that I was afraid might be difficult but I have to say, he pulled it off perfectly. I had three specific songs I asked him to learn- one Coldplay and two from The Killers. I even wanted one of The Killers songs played at a specific point in the song. David made it simple! I simply sent the YouTube videos of the official songs and told him at what point I wanted the song to start. I also sent him YouTube videos of specific piano covers of the songs that I favored. I'm not musically inclined and don't know the lingo; I actually said to him, " I like this cover of the song because it's particularly 'twinkly' (for lack of a better word)," but he totally understood and nailed it. Everyone thought it was classy and unique. The songs sounded exactly how I imagined and better than expected. Trust in David!

David Zipse was fantastic! He was easy to get a hold of and can play anything! He played at our outdoor, garden wedding ceremony as our guests were seated and waited for the festivities to begin - David's rendition of the Bridal March, which I never thought I would use, is so beautiful that I had to use it!!! He added to the ambiance of our day and our guests could not stop raving about the ceremony and the music. Cocktail hour was a huge hit and we placed a candelabra on top of the piano - Very cool! David has so many artists and songs in his repertoire that I just told him to keep it upbeat - He did his thing and was the beginning of a fantastic and kicking party! I highly recommend David for all of your music needs!

I actually never even met David because we communicated only by email! He played our ceremony music & cocktail hour but I never had a chance to meet him that day in person. He was always professional by email and I felt assured with his training that he could play the more simple "popular" songs I wanted for walking down the aisle, etc. I played piano for many, many years and had some detailed instructions for him which he followed perfectly! if you want a simple piano sound for your wedding look no further. His prices are also extremely reasonable!

David was fantastic!! He played piano for our ceremony and reception and everyone loved him. We didn't give him a playlist - just told him generally what we like and he said he would "read the crowd", which he did perfectly! He was absolutely perfect!

I had a lot of demands for my wedding, and David has managed to not only meet but also exceed my expectations in almost every aspect. I'd asked him to play the piano during the bridal party entrance, and he managed to do just that...and also adapt and modulate the song in time with each announcement to create excitement and anticipation. I'd asked him to play a special song to accompany a PowerPoint presentation, and he was able to adjust and play the song so that it ended perfectly with the last slide, even despite the technical difficulties we had with the show. I couldn’t be happier than to recommend David Zipse. He is the definition of a professional – from his talent to the way he does business to his demeanor both prior to and during our wedding. My wife wanted to enter to Clocks by Coldplay, a song David added to his repertoire just for our wedding. He even got the sheet music for a few other songs we requested and told us how excited he was to play them – what a positive attitude! Our ceremony space did not have a piano so he provided his own keyboard, and listened to our wish he make it sound like a piano and not synthetic. Then he transitioned upstairs to the hall’s baby grand without a problem. We hired David and his bandmate Chuck to play at our wedding ceremony. They were more wonderful than I could have imagined. I very much enjoyed going to hear their band Good Foot play before we hired them, and David came over to say hello and was very friendly. He was extremely responsive - responding to emails almost immediately, and always very positively, friendly, and very accommodating. He had good recommendations, and the songs I requested that he did not know, he found music for and learned them. He also allowed a family member who was singing solos at our wedding to use all of his equipment. I thought this was very generous. He also went to meet with our ceremony site coordinator beforehand to make sure they had the right equipment and set up. Very reliable, professional, flexible, responsive, and excellent quality service at a reasonable cost! I would definitely hire David and Chuck again.
