    • We wanted to take a moment to share our review, as the wedding cake we chose was fabulous. Many thanks to Peg! We appreciated her detail with the set up, as she not only delivers but spent a good deal of time in arranging organza, lights, and decor details which made our cake even more breathtaking. Our guests noticed, and commented on it, along with the positive feedback about the fresh flavorful cake, and delicious filling, and it is worth mentioning that she has a great eye for detail in this way. We would most definitely recommend this service, and thank you again!

    • We had a package through the Knights of Colombus in Chicopee which included a cake from castle city cakes. And I am so glad that it was from them! Peg was great. She met with us originally to get a feel for what we wanted. We then spoke again a few times and I sent her a couple of pictures of designs that I liked which she made a mix of as our wedding cake. It was absolutely beautiful and so delicious. Her cake is all around top of the line. She really went above and beyond for us ensuring that my flower shop sent over extra flowers to decorate it with at no extra cost! She also used the extra flowers to decorate the table the cake was set on as well as our sweetheart table. She was wonderful and I highly recommend Castle City Cakes!

    • Peg was an absolutely joy to work with. Our cake was not only gorgeous but delicious. She made us both a cutting cake and sheet cakes for our guests. She worked within our budget to make sure we got exactly what we needed while also creating something absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend Castle City Cakes to anyone looking for a wonderful baker.

    • Peg with Creative Confections recently provided my baby shower cake. Just wanted to share my review, as my sister handled the ordering..I didnt know what I was getting until Peg herself brought it in. My cake was adorable, and so detailed! The cake was fresh and delicious. It just was a great surprise to have an out of the ordinary design, and I will definitely use Creative Confections in the future.

    • Peg was amazing, as was our cake ( a three tier, intricately classic design with delicate lace design and tediously hand placed pearls) it was exact to the pictures I provided as well as moist and delicious. ( a rich almond cake with raspberry filling- outstanding!) We have to express our gratitude to Peg- as in retrospect, over our many meetings, I would think my demand for perfection might have been a bit wearing! However, she not only met but exceeded my vision not only for quality and taste but also in regard to my calls, questions, and meetings. Peg stood out amongst the many "vendors" with her warm personality and patience.. and again, the final product was "Creative Perfection!" Both of our families were impressed and pleased, and seems that we will see Peg soon, as she will be creating my sister's baby shower cake. Thank you Peg!!

    • I can't thank Peg enough for her beautiful and delicious cake! I couldn't help having three slices! It was so moist and light. The frosting was very creamy. Everyone commented on how wonderful it tasted. The sugar paste fall leaves on the cake looked so real that I saw people doing a double take! My cake loving family was delighted that the serving sizes were large and we still had enough to take home! My work schedule didn't allow me to meet with Peg during normal business hours and I appreciated how she was willing to meet with me after 9:30pm. I was really impressed with her professionalism and friendly nature. She made what could have been a difficult experience an absolute dream! Elizabeth

    • Peg was absolutely amazing to work with! Her creativity and professionalism were out of this world! Over several months I made several changes to the cake design, and in the end chose one that Peg designed based on my wedding gown. I was so pleased that we could choose two flavors, the vanilla almond with strawberry mousse and the chocolate with cappuccino cream. So many of our guests commented on how unique and beautiful the cake was. Not only was it gorgeous but it was absolutely scrumptious! We will definitely be calling her for my parents wedding anniversary party in February! Sonia

Service was much appreciated also, as co owner Peg was very accommodating to our schedules, meeting with us in Hartford Ct after regular business hours. We found this to be so helpful, as we had more than one meeting while deciding! The cake was so well done, and she thought of additional details, complimentary to our theme, which we would not have thought to ask for. Our cake received many guest compliments and inquiries.

    • Peg was such a nice woman. She was willing to work with our schedule for meeting times and was very good at returning calls or emails. Our cake looked beautiful and it was exactly what we wanted. Everyone at the wedding said how wonderful the cake tasted. I also have some diet issues that other places weren't willing to work with, but she had no problems with them.

    • Peg created a red velvet cake for us that was the highlight of our reception. It was SO delicious, the best red velvet I've ever had - and beautiful, to boot. Peg was very accommodating with our delivery and we definitely recommend Castle City Cakes.

    • Castle City Cakes - Peg - did our wedding cake for our wedding in Whately, MA this past June. Peg is a very nice lady and this is a family run business. Peg does not have a storefront or office, so we met at the Days Inn near Springfield and Chicopee. At first, I had some frustrations with Peg because we had a long meeting and went over my ideas and then the next time we met, she did not have her notes or any memory of what we had discussed. I think this could be attributed to the fact that she is a very busy lady. I have to say, my frustrations were in vain because the cake that I received on the day of our wedding was EXACTLY what I had hoped it would be. We were getting married in a barn on a pick your own orchard so I wanted something simple, but memorable.
