Worked with Dan to plan our May 2020 wedding reception here. Unfortunately COVID hit, and we did not know when we would be holding our wedding. During the whole process of and planning from across the country, Dan was responsive and incredible helpful. We walked through the space a couple of times when I was able to visit San Diego, and had a food tasting. He and Chef Lily were able to accommodate our menu selections which were not their regular fare. I would highly recommend visiting Coronado Cays Yacht Club as an unconventional wedding venue with tons of space and ample room to let your creativity go wild. One of the things that drew us to the venue was the beautiful scenery (tons of places to take photos), the amenities (games and activities for all family members), and CCYC's flexibility. We look forward to hosting an anniversary party here in the future.

My husband and I are so thankful for CCYC! They are so wonderful and accommodating. I have always dreamed of getting married here and my dream came true! We had the most beautiful intimate wedding ceremony! It truly was the best day of our lives and we will cherish it forever! Thank you!

Whitney and Ryan's wedding on April 27, 2019 couldn't have been more perfect! We fell in love with Coronado Cays Yacht Club on our first visit and are absolutely thrilled with the way the wedding turned out! It was so beautiful and special and we received many compliments from our guests on the location, delicious food and wonderful staff. Dan, the catering manager, Marc the bartender and all the other staff were just fantastic. Everyone is very professional and also friendly and makes you feel welcome. It's a perfect venue for a wedding!!!

My husband and I got married in October 2019 at the Corondao Cays Yacht Club and it was an amazing experience. The venue is not far from perfect. Obviously the location is great-right on the San Diego Bay with a view of the San Diego-Coronado Bridge. The food is wonderful! The portions are giant and all of our guests raved about the food being really yummy. One of the best things about this venue is the General Manager, Dan Parker. He runs the show and is an absolute gem to work with. He's a great communicator. My husband and I were engaged for 2 years and booked the venue a few months after we were engaged, so Dan had to deal with all my questions for 2 years....really nice guy. I arrived to the ceremony by boat, I wanted a disco ball, I wanted a temporary tattoo station and needed to rearrange the layout for the table, my husband and I wanted a keg of craft beer from the central coast, we wanted a tub of beer for people to take a beer with them to their seat for the ceremony...so man... Read morey things I was able to customize and Dan had no issue at all helping make it happen. This is one of the only venues I know that has an 11 pm curfew. That was something important to me as I knew the dance party would still be kickin' around 10. I got ready at a different location, but we were able to use the bridal suite as a storage room for all the decorations the weekend of the wedding. That was convenient and helpful. Most of the wait-staff is super friendly, and it was just an overall great experience having our wedding here.

This venue is stunning. It is seated in Coronado and nested up against the bay. The grassy ceremony site overlooks the water, the cocktail hour area has an amazing water view and the rounded reception room feels so magical. Dan, the on-site coordinator is so kind and accommodating. He truly loves weddings and making couples dreams come true. THE FOOD IS AMAZING AND INCLUDED WITH THE VENUE. There are awesome places to go to take pictures as well, such as a park, dock, and someone even let us go onto their yacht! Everything is amazing about this venue, you will fall in love with it the moment you get there. You will not have a single regret.

Above and beyond service start to finish! Dan Parker went out of his way to help us with every detail, and the amount of amenities that this venue checks off your list makes it a no-brainer. The view and the venue speak for themselves as soon as you visit, but Dan's attention to detail instantly set them apart in our search for a venue. Your wedding day will end up great wherever you decide, but the months leading up to it will be SIGNIFICANTLY better if you go with CCYC!

I had my dream wedding at Coronado Cays Yacht Club! The venue is gorgeous and pricing is VERY reasonable. Dan, the General Manager, is a dream to work with - he makes the whole planning process easy and I always had full confidence that he would execute our day perfectly (and he did!). The food is out of this world delicious, the facility is beautiful, and the staff is very professional. I also like that they are very easy going. So many venues have an endless list of limitations, but CCYC is very lenient. Dan really wants to make sure that your day is everything you want it to be. If I ever have a need for a venue to size again, this will hands down be the only place I'd go to! Thank you Dan & staff for everything! I highly recommend this venue to everyone.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Coronado Cays Yacht Club last weekend. I cannot begin to describe how amazing it was. Dan and his team were so kind and accommodating, it was a dream wedding. The venue itself is beautiful and easy to use- we had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all there. You do catering and the bar through the venue; they also provide all the tables/chairs/an arch/table settings and more if you want-making planning easy and reducing the amount of decisions you have to make (which I loved). Dan handled the communication; he is super responsive, kind, and flexible- he made the whole experience really seamless. I can't tell you how many compliments I got on the food- the portions are big and tasted amazing. And (possibly) most importantly, it is a very competitively priced venue. We are so grateful to the CCYC and its staff- highly recommend to anyone!

My husband and I just got married last week at CCYC and had the most amazing experience ever. Dan has worked with us for over a year and hands down is the best event planner there is. He is diligent, responsive, flexible and SO kind! The staff at the venue did an amazing job setting up and serving our guests, we are so thankful for them as well. Besides the scenery outside which is breathtaking, the inside has much to offer as well. The high chandeliers, the space, the dance floor, the big bar area, it all makes the perfect venue!

I can't say enough about Dan and the team at Coronado Cays Yacht Club. From the very beginning Dan was amazing to work with. When we toured the facility he answered every question and offered suggestions based on his experience. As Mother of the Bride, I was flying in from out of town and he set up a tour and tasting that matched my schedule. The team was professional and great to work with. We had to make a venue change as a result of the fires in Northern California where the original September wedding was supposed to be held. Dan was so accommodating and we were able to make it happen in 2 months time, making it a Christmas Wedding! The Yacht Club Christmas Decorations were beautiful and we continued the Christmas Theme and even had a Santa during Happy Hour. We decided on an Italian buffet and everyone loved it. There was plenty of food, the appetizers were perfect and knowing there was a full bar on the premises made it so easy for everyone. The entire experience was Awesome!

Dan Parker is the guy that makes everything fall into place. He is cheerful, informative, patient, and is very clear about what his venue offers and what it does not. He is the reason we considered this venue when we visited the Bridal Bazaar more than a year in advance of the wedding because he not only pointed out the wonderful things about the yacht club, but opened our eyes to potential problems that could crop up on the week or day of event (we were clueless), and had a pocketful of solutions to make it all run smoothly. Things we loved about this venue include the waterfront ceremony, the beautiful dining room for the reception, being able to have the ceremony AND the reception in one place, ample parking, a "bridal suite" with floor to ceiling mirrors for all the young ladies to get ready in, a room for the guys to prepare in, also, and a heated outdoor patio complete with waterfront seating, beautiful lighting, and propane fire pits to keep everyone warm in the evening. For $750 extra, they have an upgrade package for the venue that included hanging chandeliers in the dining room and adding seat covers for all the chairs in the dining area. We opted for it and it truly elevated the feeling of the reception. I cannot emphasize enough how accommodating CCYC was to our every need and want. Can we bring in our own lighting and AV gear? Sure! Can the bride have a special Sangria made to serve the guests? No problem. Can we add more draping and turn the venue into a nightclub? Of course! And can I tell you? The food is just incredible. They have a wonderful menu and even added a vegan option for our guests. For hors d'oeuvres the guests couldn't get over the delicious coconut shrimp and the beautifully served baguette crisps and artichoke dip. The ribeye were grilled perfectly for dinner, and their herb stuffed chicken was a feast for the eyes as well as the bellies. They do offer more budget friendly options as well. Not a single guest or member of the wedding party had anything negative to say about the event or the venue. We are incredibly grateful to Dan and his staff for making this day beautiful and memorable.

I cannot sing the praises of Dan, Chef Liliana, Pedro and the entire staff enough!! We had our wedding here this month. All of our guests loved the venue and the food! All of the staff were sooo great not only to my husband & myself, but to all our family & friends. From the moment I met with Dan and Liliana earlier this year I knew I was in great hands. Dan communicated all details and was responsive to my many emails / calls (sorry about that). We had some last minute sound issues with our DJ & Dan stepped in to assist & issue was solved. This honestly saved my sanity the day before the wedding. Dan also ensured that my father & his BFF had their favorite non alcoholic beverage stocked at the bar. They were both appreciative. We looked at several venues (8-10 ) and when I found CCYC & drove down the same day to see for myself , I could not wait to get info & details. We had our wedding at Coronado Cays Yacht Club and everything was perfect! The venue is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Our guests loved the view and were very impressed by the professionalism and promptness of the staff. The food was amazing! Several of our guests commented on the meal service being wonderful. The bar was stocked with great options at very reasonable prices. We loved being able to have the ceremony outside overlooking the water and being able to hold the reception inside of the club. It was all in one place without any extra driving. The parking is great and our guests were allowed to leave their cars overnight so everyone could get home safe. Having the ceremony overlooking the water, cocktail hour on the fully furnished patio, and the reception inside the club was convenient, stress free, and each area was just beautiful.The guests really felt like they had just spent a fancy night out on the town. We were able to use the venue and their catering services while staying within our budget. We could not have asked for a better wedding or venue!
