  • Jennifer and the team at Copper Penny did a fabulous job creating the flowers for my daughter's rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception last winter. They were such a pleasure to work with -- I knew that I didn't need to worry about a thing because they thought of everything and planned for it. Loved their creativity and designs.

  • Copper Penny Flowers was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! The owner, Stephanie, was wonderful to communicate with and design our arrangements. Early on in the process, I was stunned by the amazing proposal she sent us. Complete with example pictures, colors, and even the types flowers that would be best for each application. By utilizing Pinterest boards for ideas and vibes- it's clear they have got wedding design down to a science! Copper Penny also put together a sample centerpiece for us a few months before the wedding. This gesture completely puts the brides mind at ease!! On our wedding day, we could not have been more pleased with the final product from Copper Penny. All of the florals were fresh, creative, and flowed so well with everything! They even matched my bouquet ribbon exactly to my dress! To me, there is nothing more you can ask for in a florist, than what Copper Penny Provides!

  • Jennifer created the aesthetic I wanted for a celebration held at the Inn at Hastings Park. We worked collaboratively at her shop. She and her staff executed the look to perfection on the day of the party. The flowers were delivered when promised with clear direction on placement for the inn. I couldn't have been more pleased with the beautiful flowers. My guests were thrilled to take home the arrangements as party favors. Thank you Copper Penny!

  • Copper Penny Flowers did a fantastic job on our wedding flowers. They were incredibly easy to work with. I don't know a lot about flowers, but they worked with me to create beautiful flower displays for our wedding. They were incredibly professional and timely in all of their work and communication. They were the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen and we couldn't be happier.

  • As a wedding planner/coordinator, I worked with Jennifer and Copper Penny Flowers on a wedding at Pierce House, Lincoln this fall. Jennifer was super easy going, down to earth, and fun to work with. She brought to life exactly what the bride had in mind for her wedding day, offered up a lot of creative ideas throughout the design process, and did it all with budget in mind. I appreciated how easy she was to collaborate with - especially given that she was working with the bride, planner, and rental company to piece together a really beautiful table design. I work with many florists, and Jennifer is absolutely among the best. On the day of the wedding, the quality and presentation of her designs exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Jennifer and her team for your wedding day or any floral needs!

  • My husband and I recently got married at The Lenox Hotel in Back Bay, and Copper Penny Flowers was nothing short of amazing at creating an absolutely gorgeous venue THAT much more gorgeous. Jennifer and team are extremely professional, patient and knowledgeable. If you seem to be overwhelmed with flower visions (much like I was), I highly recommend working with CPF, they make it SO easy and their work is stunning.

  • Amy was so helpful! I worked with Copper Penny for my wedding in September – I didn’t know exactly what I was looking for at first, but Amy guided me through everything and made sure to work within my budget. The flowers were absolutely STUNNING and I am so happy I chose to work with Copper Penny! They made the process so easy and stress free, I would absolutely recommend them!

  • Copper Penny did our flowers for our wedding and they were absolutely beautiful! The staff took the time to really listen to what type of look we were going for and were very helpful in choosing flower varieties. They were punctual and on time the day of the wedding as well. • Copper Penny Flowers designed the bridal bouquet, ceremonial pieces, boutonnieres, corsages, table centerpieces, and LED candles and greenery for the altar table for our wedding. They did an absolutely fabulous job! The floral arrangements were all exquisite and remarked upon by our guests. They were also large! I did not consider the flowers as mere wedding accessories. I considered them as central to our wedding as my wedding dress, the string quartet and the food. Without the flowers, our wedding would have been quite diminished aesthetically.

  • Copper Penny did SUCH an amazing job with our flowers — they came out so beautiful, and we got so many compliments on them from our guests. Jennifer was really easy to work with, and she was able to capture exactly what I had in mind just based on like five pins from Pinterest. She worked within our relatively modest budget and still made something that looked incredible. Would recommend them to anyone!

  • Copper Penny did a most beautiful job on all of the floral arrangements for our son's wedding. People are still talking about them! From that first meeting that my daughter-in-law (who is from Brazil) and I had with Jennifer back in December until the actual day, she and her team were very professional, as well as sensitive and accommodating to my daughter-in-law's vision of her big day. She and our son were originally to be married on July 13th, 2019, but due to the fact that she had not received her fiancée visa in time, their wedding had to be postponed. Jennifer was wonderful about the postponement. The new date was set for the end of August, and although she told us that she already had a pretty full agenda that day, she felt badly about the postponement and was willing to fit us in and make it work. Needless to say, we all truly appreciated this - not only did Jennifer and her team make it work, but they were punctual and everything looked spectacular. Yes, we would defin... Read more

  • This was a great company to work with and i highly recommend to anyone. I would just suggest being very clear with what you like/want and don't like/want. I will not blame anything i did not like on the company as i must not have been clear enough with what i wanted. I gave them a lot of room to be independently creative. My two qualms were that the color of flower i specifically said i did not like in the test bouquet was added to my bouquet, and not only that it was an ugly color rose which i expressed time and time again i wanted very little of. I debated cutting them off before my walk down the isle but was afraid it would leave a noticeable hole. My second qualm is that i don't think my centerpieces looked anything like i was trying to explain to them. It was so small that i didn't even think there was any when i first walked by. For what i paid i figured there might be a little more to them. But Overall i gave them a good review because this could all have been my fault for not ... Read more

So sorry you were disappointed with one of the rose colors that we used in your bouquet. As an artisan, it is always a challenge to interpret exactly what each bride wants while designing against a specific color palette, seasonal availability and budget. In this case, we were trying to provide some contrast to your bouquet while bridging the color selections from blush to deep burgundy. In our experience, if a bridal bouquet is all dark moody colors in photos the bouquet will recede, contrasting colors will make the bouquet 'pop'. Our designer made the decision to include more mid-tone colors so that the bouquet would pop in photos and would be somewhat 'different' than the bridesmaid's bouquets. Knowing that you were not fond of traditional roses, we selected an old time garden rose because of its delicate ruffled edges and wide open appearance. Garden roses are often mistaken for a peony and look nothing like a traditional rose. We thought they were far enough from the traditional look, but clearly that was not the case, our apologies! We did have staff on site from 2:30 - 4:30, I'm sorry they did not specifically check in with you to make certain you were absolutely thrilled with your bouquet. We could have made changes on site. We will make certain to do that in the future! As for the table centerpieces, I'm not certain where expectations fell down as we did provide a sample centerpiece 4 weeks before the wedding. Please remember, the price per table also included all of the labor and rental items we provided to set up and prep all of the different items included on the table, not just the flowers. It took staff several hours to clean vases, open candles, trim wicks, fill vases with pebbles and wine corks and to then pack these items for transport. Staff then spent time prepping and setting up each table with the various items.

  • Copper Penny came recommended by our wedding vendor and ultimately were very lovely to work with and delivered beautiful flowers on our wedding day. Of note, we didn't have a great experience with our trial run a month before the wedding. Some key flowers weren't yet available, but rather than FYI'ing us about the issue, we arrived to see an arrangement with drastically different flowers and style than what we'd discussed and seen in the proposal. It was a bummer since my parents had made a special trip and we were so excited to see the flowers. We considered an available Plan B, but ultimately we were able to have a really productive and clear communication with Amy and Jennifer over email and at a second visit to the shop, and the flowers that were delivered on our wedding day were exactly what we wanted. The bridal bouquet did not hold up well, but the remainder of the flowers were used for the post-wedding Sunday brunch and looked gorgeous the next day. They were very flexible in a... Read more

Thank you for your review Barbara. As part of our custom service we provide a free sample centerpiece arrangement at 4 - 6 weeks out from the wedding date. This meeting serves several purposes; a viewing of a sample centerpiece to see if we've captured a bride's vision for her day and the opportunity to go through all of the finer details of the day including guest counts, bridal party counts, any rental selections, ribbon selections as well as timing, delivery locations and a schedule for the day. Because of the seasonal availability of flowers, we are not always able to get what we want to do a sample. This is especially true for weddings in September where the sample appointment is scheduled in late July or early August. Dahlias are the primary fall wedding flower and are in huge demand for September, the busiest bridal month of the year, but are not available in abundant supply or in a wide variety of colors until they fully come into season in September. We kept your sample appointment hoping for the best (that the flowers we ordered would come in and be the color and quality that we wanted) but were disappointed with what our grower/supplier provided to us. This left us scrambling on the day of the appointment to try and provide a sample that would convey what we were hoping to create for your day but we still felt that it would be worthwhile to meet to go over all of the other details for the day. Some brides have a general sense of what they want their flowers to look like and others have a very specific vision. Yours was a very specific vision and when we realized how upsetting the sample meeting was for you, we immediately offered to reschedule another meeting and to provide an additional sample. I am so happy you were pleased with the final result.
