  • Eric was amazing!! He was very flexible with us during the DJ planning stage. He was personable, funny, and patient. He understood what we wanted in a DJ which was great. The day of our wedding, the ceremony ran longer than expected but Eric was there the entire night trying to get us back on track. He made sure everything else flowed as we planned and tried to help expedite things. Eric communicated with us the entire evening. He even jumped in and did the wobble with us!! He was the perfect addition to our wedding. We will definitely look to Complete Weddings + Events and Eric for any DJ services we may need in the future.

  • Thank you Complete Weddings + Events! We planned our wedding in less than 30 days and contacted Complete just weeks prior to our date. Our videographer Lucas was so awesome and such a pleasure to work with!! Professional, prompt, kind, and always had great communication throughout the entire process and especially on our wedding day! He made us feel comfortable and at ease being on video which isn't easy and also managed to make the entire experience great for us! We haven't received the final edit edit because our wedding was just last month but we look forward to seeing the final product and will add to our review when the time comes. Huge thank you to Rick who immediately reached out after we first contacted Complete Weddings and took the time to send a courtesy email even after our wedding. Also thank you to Eric for following up, putting everything together and is such a pleasure to speak with. Overall a great experience!

Thanks Amia! It was a pleasure working with you and Aaron as well. We'll get the final product out to you as soon as possible. Happy Holidays! - Rick

  • Our DJ was amazing and kept the energy high and the party going all night long! He always wanted to make sure that me, the bride, and the groom was having fun the whole night. He make sure that my cup was never empty and that the night ran smoothly. Couldn't ask for a better night or a better vendor at Garden Court!

  • My experience with Thomas as our wedding ceremony and reception DJ was wonderful! He did a great job with ceremony music and transitioning to the reception as well. He was attentive and focused on making sure we got what we want for our day to be perfect. It was also super easy to add up lighting and anything else to our package for a great price. I would recommend complete to anyone!!

Thanks CJ! We appreciate you having us as your DJ service. Congratulations once again do you and Cory!

  • I hired Complete Weddings + Events for DJ services for my wedding reception and they did not disappoint! The week before the wedding I talked with my DJ (Eric) on the phone about expectations and style. I told him that I wanted to keep everyone on the dance floor all night and that is exactly what happened!!! Everyone had so much fun and Eric even danced a little bit with the crowd! My mom has told me several times how happy she is about all the music that was played at my wedding reception. Thank you Complete & Eric for making my wedding so much fun and memorable!

Thanks McKenzie. I'm glad you guys had fun! You had an awesome crowd and it definitely was a fun party! Congrats once again!

  • My wife and I got married at the end of March. That was the beginning of the pandemic, when everything was new and groups were restricted to ten people. We were forced to cancel one week before our wedding, and politely asked for a refund. We were refused. We’ve talked to other couples that had to cancel right before their wedding, and most of them received at least a partial refund (typically the vendor kept the deposit, for example) on the grounds that the virus and shut down may qualify as “an act of God.” I understand that the wedding industry took a major hit from the virus. Some vendors spend huge amounts of time and resources in an event that couldn’t happen, and couples still demand a full refund. The DJ, however, looked at our information, and we received one phone call before cancelling. And yet still Rick from Complete Weddings stated that even a partial refund is not possible. Just wanted to post this review so at least it would be our experience with the company wo... Read more

This is a duplicate review. Anthony Secreti is Chloe B's husband who also posted basically the same review one hour earlier on this date. Please read the response to Chloe B's review to address Anthony Secreti's concerns in this review. Thank you!

  • COVID couples beware. Our wedding was at the beginning of the pandemic (3/28). Everything closed a week before our wedding, and so we were forced to cancel a week before our wedding date. At that time, there was no end in sight of the pandemic, and weren’t comfortable with rescheduling for the fall (so glad now that we didn’t). We asked for a refund, given that these events were unforeseen and unprecedented. In response to our request, we were sent an unhelpful email which stated that a refund was impossible. Rick from Complete Events refused to refund either the deposits or the payments. He gave no option but to reschedule. This was not the response that we received from any other vendor, as we were fortunate enough to get a refund for all other services. It seems a little ridiculous that a DJ, of all services, would refuse, given that there was a mandate limiting ten people to a gathering at the time of our wedding. It’s been a little while since our wedding 3/28- my husban... Read more

While Chloe's review is not entirely inaccurate, there are 2 sides to every story. It is true that Chloe and her husband (Anthony Secreti who also wrote a review on Wedding Wire today titled COVID wedding) were forced to cancel their wedding one week before their wedding date due to the government's required shutdown. Certainly, this was through no fault of their own. However, the shutdown was not COMPLETE's fault either. Our contract, which the customer signed digitally, CLEARLY states that deposits are non-refundable for any reason and that the balance of the event is still due if the event cancels within 45 days of the event date. This is pretty standard contract stuff for the wedding industry. While Chloe and Anthony mentioned that they received some refunds from vendors, that is great! Most wedding vendors I have talked to are not issuing refunds as their contract states. I know of at least one other vendor who has a similar review online because they are not issuing refunds. In the event world, when you book a venue, DJ, caterer, etc, that company is tying up their resources for you, which means they cannot sell that "spot" to anyone else. So, when an event cancels, especially so close to the event date, any monies paid are forfeited. Again, very standard in the wedding industry. To give another example, I personally had a flight booked for a trip in May 2020 that cancelled. I did not buy the extra travel insurance or anything like that. I had the basic ticket. I had to cancel the flight due to COVID. The airline would only credit me for a future flight within the next calendar year, they refused to give a refund. Again, when it happens to you, it is not pleasant and you want to blame someone. COVID is not Chloe's fault, it wasn't the airlines fault and it is not our fault either. We are happy to offer the ability to reschedule her event. In 2020 at COMPLETE, over 130 couples were forced to either postpone or cancel their wedding. The vast majority of couples postponed and rescheduled their weddings. For those folks, nobody lost any deposits or payments and we did not charge anyone any fee to reschedule. I am happy to report that we have been able to accommodate every single client who wished to reschedule. Some of those clients did postpone to summer and fall of 2020 and we have successfully completed their events and have brought joy to many, many couples. While we did zero events in late March, all of April and all of May, we DJed 89 events from 6-1-20 to today, 11-24-20. Chloe and Anthony certainly could have rescheduled for that timeframe or sometime next year in 2021, like many other people have. We also invited them to transfer their service to a non-wedding event in the future and that offer still stands. They have a paid for DJ that they can use for a family birthday party, graduation party or some other personal event. While many have postponed, we have had some couples, like Chloe and Anthony, simply cancel. That is certainly their choice, but it is indeed a CHOICE. With that choice comes a forfeit of any deposits or payments made within 45 days of the event. Again, all of that is CLEARLY outlined in the contract. I have spoken to many couples who understand that they are losing money if they cancel. We too understand that this sometimes happens as there are many moving parts to an event of this magnitude. In the event of a cancellation, we forfeit any money due to us when the cancellation is outside of 45 days. To date, we have had 26 cancellations due to COVID. Yes, it sucks for the couple, but it also sucks for us as that represents tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue not to mention the lost cash flow this year due to postponements. We have had to lay people off, borrow money and take other measures just to stay afloat during this pandemic. When you hear stories about small businesses struggling during these times, we are that small business. Unlike some other businesses, I am happy to say that we have survived this and are continuing to stay open. We have been around for 17 years and we will be around for at least 17 more! We have 3 more painfully slow months, then it's on in Spring of 2021! We have lots of weddings coming up that we are super excited about. If Chloe and Anthony wish to reschedule or simply plan a backyard BBQ where they need a DJ, we will be there for them! We are ready to provide them service. However, it is there choice if they choose not to take us up on that. In that case, then yes, unfortunately, they are out the money that they have already paid.

  • I hired Photographer, Videographer, DJ and Photobooth. The photographer and videographer for 13 hours and for the price, it was worth it! The only thing that I felt like was the DJ/MC was not very good at reading the vibe. I was a bit disappointed. Also, the Photobooth did not inform my guests of the guestbook. I also used the projector they provided. Otherwise, I highly recommend the photography and videographer Amy/Bryan!

This is not our review. Our company has no record of a customer named Gino Caprille and we did not perform an event on 12-22-19. We also don't have a photographer named Amy, nor a videographer named Bryan. COMPLETE weddings + events has many locations throughout the country, each independently owned and managed. Therefore, it is possible Gino used another COMPLETE in another location. However, Gino was not a customer of COMPLETE weddings + events, Kentucky and we did not provide any services for him.
