  • Thank you so much to Coats Classic for being a part of our big day! We left our NYE wedding reception in "Elizabeth," the 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud! It was stunning! Our guests were just as excited as we were! And Anil was the sweetest!

  • We had an amazing experience with Coats Classic Cars! The pandemic added challenges including changing location, time of the ceremony, adding a first look location, etc. Coats Classic Cars was incredibly accommodating and understanding of our circumstances. They helped to make our day perfect! James was the driver and was an absolute delight to talk to and travel down the mountain with! We can't thank them enough!

  • Elizabeth, 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, was so beautiful! James was so polite, helpful, and entertaining. While our wedding was during the pandemic, he also took that into consideration and wore a mask the entire time. He drove us all over the Biltmore Estate to take photos before and after the wedding. We really enjoyed ourselves! We decided the day of the wedding that we would like to extend our time for an hour and without hesitation, they made it happen! It was a beautiful touch for a send off!

  • I have always wanted a classic truck to be my getaway car for my wedding! This company made it happen! They drove their classic truck "Oliver" all the way from Birmingham Alabama to Johns creek Georgia for my big day!!!! the truck was beautiful and the driver Chris was awesome to talk to and was a great driver! So pleased with Coats Classic Cars and I would use them again and I highly recommend them!

  • We chose to have Maggie, the white rolls Royce, as our getaway vehicle and WOW its was beautiful! James, one of the partners of the company, was our driver. He arrived right on time with the car (hours before our getaway) which allowed for amazing pictures and had the car warmed up and ready for us to leave at the end of the night. He was very pleasant and quite knowledgeable about the cars. I would 100% recommend them to anyone!

The chauffeur was was all dressed up, opened doors for us and was so professional. We rented Caroline. She is such a beautiful and well kept car.   • We absolutely loved the car we chose for our wedding day. James was very kind and professional, and was more than happy to accommodate any requests we had. It was so nice to have a chauffeur after the wedding so we could just relax and enjoy the ride. It was an incredible photo prop as well! We could not be more pleased with the service Coats Classic Cars provided, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

  • The staff at Coat's Classic Cars is so nice and friendly ... we had a last minute hiccup occur that caused us to have to change reception venues, and before I had even reached out to Coat's, they reached out to me asking if there was anything they could do to help! They were so accommodating when we had to make a change, and everything went perfect the night of the wedding. The car was the perfect touch to a wonderful evening! I was beyond happy with our choice of Coat's Classic Cars!

James was not only a kind and wonderful driver, but he held umbrellas, escorted us down hills, and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of all evening. Coats is the best!

  • Coats Classic cars was wonderful to work with. Two of my coworkers who needed a ride in order to attend the wedding was able to ride with "Jack" to the wedding. They had nothing but good things to say. Very professional. "Jack" was clean and a comfortable ride for the get away! It was a nice surprise to find out "Jack" has been part of Shriners for 60 years.

  • I strongly would not recommend anyone using this company. They advertise you can choose which antique car you like best. You give them your top three and get one of those. This was not something my daughter, the bride cared about, but I thought it would add a nice touch. I paid over 600.00 dollars for one hour, I received a car I did not choose, or even like. Totally threw the money away. So, if you do use Coats, they choose what they want you to have. I think it’s false advertising. They don’t care if you are happy or not. They have your money, after all! I would have given them zero stars, if I could have.

    Hi Wanda, we are very sorry for the misunderstanding. Since your daughter’s wedding was just last weekend, we would have welcomed a phone call or e-mail to give us the opportunity to try and make this right for you. For every wedding that we quote, we give our clients the option to reserve their favorite car, and be guaranteed that specific car, exclusively, for the entire evening. Alternatively, we also offer a “Getaway” package, which is a perfect fit for our clients who like several different cars, and/or are more budget-conscious. It is a great way to get a classic getaway car for a minimal investment. However, since we offer the “Getaway” package at a discounted rate, we cannot guarantee exactly which particular car will arrive. We always send one of our Featured Classics, which you can see listed out at www.RideBackInTime.com, with the particular car being subject to availability at your date and time. We included both options in your original e-mail quote, and the “Getaway” service was the package that you selected. We try to be very clear during the booking process, both by phone and e-mail, that the Getaway package does not guarantee a specific car (and why). If you’ll refer to your original e-mailed quote of January 17, our reservations coordinator Amanda stated when discussing this option, “since we offer this service at a discounted rate, we do not guarantee a specific car”. If our clients have strong feelings about a particular car, we encourage them to go ahead and reserve their favorite one, which is always an option. I believe that would have been a much better fit, for your reservation – so we sincerely apologize if we did not make the difference between the two options clear. When a client does reserve the Getaway-Car package, such as yourself, we often ask them to list a few of their favorite cars – and on most dates, we can accommodate those requests. I am very sorry if our asking for your favorite choices created a misunderstanding – this was meant as a courtesy, not as a guarantee. Amanda tried to make sure in her May 24th e-mail that everyone was on the same page: “We will do our best to accommodate your preference. However, the car we send will be based on final availability that day.” Unfortunately, with June 8 being one of our busiest wedding dates of the year, we just were not able to send one of the Rolls-Royces or Jaguar that were your favorites. The car that we did send, our 1963 Lincoln Continental Convertible, is one of our most popular and most photographed cars, and one that we personally take a lot of pride in, having restored it right here in our own restoration ship, so I am saddened to hear that this vehicle was a disappointment in some way. I always check in with our chauffeurs following our events, and I received a message from your chauffeur, John, that while they were originally hoping for a white car, your daughter and son-in-law “loved the car and enjoyed the ride”, so I hope that your dissatisfaction with our service was limited exclusively to this misunderstanding regarding car selection (for which, again, we sincerely apologize), and that the quality of our service, condition of our vehicle, and our punctuality and chauffeur’s professionalism was on-point. We appreciate you choosing us, again sincerely apologize for the confusion, and offer our best wishes to the newlyweds. Best Regards, James Coats Founder & Executive Director
