    • Chris did an amazing job with our engagement, bridal, and wedding portraits. All of our friends and family are still looking at our pictures and reminiscing about the wedding 4 months later! The pictures that were taken the day of our wedding captured each precious moment before during and after the ceremony. Our engagement session was taken in New Orleans, and was so much fun! Chris urged us to be natural and just have fun while he captured our love for one another. The Genovese Ashford team was great to work with. If you are looking for the best photographer in the Baton Rouge and/or Houston area look no further. He is hands down one of the best out there.

    • From the engagement shoot, to the bridal shoot, to the wedding...it was such a please to work with Genovese-Ashford Studios! They are so knowledgeable, professional, affordable, and the pictures came out better than I could ever image. Weddings are VERY stressful, but Kim and Chris made the experience very easy. Cannot recommend them enough!!

    • I am more than satisfied with my photographs from the wedding and my bridals. Everyone has gushed over them and are begging for prints already. Kim really has a great eye for a beautiful shot and knows how to use the light. Kim and her assistant managed to capture gorgeous photos of the ceremony and reception without ever getting in the way or making her presence too obvious. She was nice and flexible, and very professional. She worked so hard and was fantastic.

We stayed on schedule on my wedding day which was very important to me. During the ceremony and reception, I had no idea they took as many pictures as they did because they were great at staying "hidden" and still capturing great shots! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

When I began planning my wedding, I decided on three things that were important to me for our wedding day -- the band, the food and the photographers. I spent countless hours researching photographers and scheduled appointments with several too. I kept coming back to Genovese Ashford Studios, and when I sat down with Chris and Kim, my decision was easy -- which is HUGE in wedding planning! They are so professional, creative and personable. With that being said, I highly recommend Genovese Ashford Studios -- they take the worry away from you.     • Genovese Ashford Studios was absolutely wonderful! Extremely professional throughout the entire process of booking, finalizing details for the wedding day, and during the actual wedding itself. Kim Ashford is so friendly and helpful. They think of everything before you do and double check with you before the wedding to make sure everything is exactly the way you want it. I didn't even notice they were there taking pictures most of the time, and my pictures came out so beautifully. Would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the area. They're amazing!

    • Very easy to work with, accommodating, easy to communicate with.... Chris and Kim's expertise with lighting and editing are what sold me in the beginning....while so many photographers now are "over-editing" their images, these 2 take more of a classic approach. I know I can look back years from now at these pics and not have the "what were they thinking?" feeling. So many of my friends and family have looked at the pics and said they made them cry....Getting those shots of people when they aren't aware a camera is pointed at them---just doing what people do, living life, my dad's boisterous laugh with his head back, my husband's tears when he saw our daughter for the first time in her wedding dress. These are the true memories and these 2 know how to capture those moments!!

    • Working with Genovese Ashford Studios was the easiest part of the whole wedding planning process. Picking them to shoot our wedding was a no brainer after looking at their portfolio and seeing their prices. Their photos are gorgeous and the prices are some of the most affordable that i found. Chris is always so quick to respond to my emails or phone calls when i have questions or comments. He and his assistant were so great to work with on the actual wedding day too. They were a big hit with my family and friends. They got great shots and seemed to be having fun while doing it. We got our pictures back very quickly and I couldnt be happier with the results. I'm recommending them to every bride-to-be that i know!

    • We researched tons of photography since this was a top priority for me. We came up with one that we liked, until we saw a Save the Date in the mail for a friend and turned it over and saw Genovese and Ashford on the back. We loved the style and looked up their website. The pictures we saw brought tears to my fiancé 's eyes and he said that these photographers captured many emotions rather than just the typical posed pictures you see. The price was very reasonable and we loved what we saw on the site! We spoke on the phone and through email. He responds very quickly, which I love. He is open to ideas, realistic, honest, flexible, and helpful. After I scheduled my engagement session, I thought about having photography at my rehearsal instead. Chris was flexible and let me change my mind without hesitation. I had a very special gift to give to my husband at the rehearsal.     • I am very happy that I went with Genovese Ashford Studios for my wedding photography. I chose them because they had a great package for a great price. I really liked that their pictures weren't overly editied with bright colors. Kim was great to work with. She answered all of my e-mails very quickly.. and i sent plenty of e-mails lol. She was very flexible with her schedule, too. Our engagement and bridal sessions were so fun and the pictures came out great! Corey and I took pictures together for my bridal session and I would highly recommend doing that. Kim got some amazing pictures of us together!! We didn't have to worry about getting those kind of shots on the day of the wedding. I received my engagements and bridals in 3 weeks and my wedding picures in about 6 weeks. Thanks Genovese Ashford Studios for amazing work.

    • I had always felt that one of the most important things for my wedding would be to find a great photographer. I went to every wedding website, went to Bridal shows, asked numerous people and I kept hearing about Genovese Ashford. I contacted many photographers, but kept going back to the Genovese Ashford website and am so happy that I did. From the moment that I went and met with Kim and Chris, I felt like they were definitely the best fit for us. From their laid back attitudes, to the advice and ideas they give, to the gorgeous pictures that they took, I could not have asked for anything more. They have great prices, make anyone feel comfortable, and are NOT intrusive at all (which was also important to me).     • Chris and Kim photographed our wedding in February and I absolutely have no complaints. Chris photographed my bridals which came out really beautiful... you can tell in the photographs that I was a little uncomfortable at first because it is weird posing for photos by yourself. But Chris was very easy to work with and you can in the pictures that I began to warm up and get comfortable. Both Chris and Kim are very knowledgeable about what will and what won't make a good picture. I've heard from people before that they were unhappy with their photographers because they kept telling them what to do or where to be. I knew I didn't need to worry about this with Chris and Kim because they photographed my friends wedding back in in November in which I was a bridesmaid. They never made us stop what we were doing during the reception to take a photo during the reception but always had a camera ready nearby in case we wanted them to take one.
