From the time we got engaged (actually, long before that) I knew that our photographer would be the most important aspect of our big day. I wanted to LOVE my pictures for the rest of our lives. And I can truly say that I will. Chris & Kim made me very comfortable from the time we met. They both shot our engagement session together in New Orleans. Kim shot my bridal portraits in Baton Rouge and she and her assistant shot our wedding day. I love every single picture they took over that month. When I first met Chris and Kim, I immediately felt comfortable with both of them. I was in awe of their beautiful work they had showed me that they photographed over the years. All of their pictures were so beautiful. I felt as though they captured every emotion of those they were photographing. Chris Genovese and Kim Ashford did an absolute amazing job on all of my pictures. I have never been more excited about receiving my images from them after each shoot. They work with you in so many ways from responding quickly to any questions you may have to giving you all their thoughts and ideas to help ease your unsure thoughts. From the moment we got engaged, I felt that our choice of photographer was perhaps the most important decision we would have. After meeting with Kim and Chris, we knew they were the ones we wanted working to capture our wedding day memories. Kim did my bridal portraits and very early into the session I knew we'd made the right decision. We paid for the majority of our wedding ourselves, so cost was a consideration. Choosing Chris and Kim as our wedding photographer was an easy decision. They not only do great work, but they are a joy to work with. They were always willing to completely and quickly answer any questions that we had. They were punctual and made sure that I got all the photos that I wanted. Kim and Chris were fantastic from the first time I met them. They made me feel completely comfortable from the very beginning. Kim was so professional at our engagement photo shoot and made my fiance feel totally at ease despite his dislike of being in front of a camera. They were prompt the day of our wedding and very organized making sure to get all of the pictures I had requested in advance. There were quick and organized after the wedding making sure we got to our reception quickly. Once there, you would never have known they were there until I got the beautiful pictures. Kim and her assistant did not miss a single thing. They made us look like rockstars and I could not be more pleased with how our pictures came out. Finding a great photographer was one of my highest priorities for our wedding. Chris certainly met my expectations! He was wonderful to work with and so accommodating with scheduling, especially since my husband and I are out of state. Our pictures came out beautifully for the engagements, bridals, and wedding! Kim is an amazing photographer. My photos are gorgeous!!! Kim responded to all questions in a very timely manor and was very easy to work with. She is definitely worth it!

Kim is so talented at what she does! I chose her to be my wedding photographer because she is artistic and unique, but also traditional. I was so sick of seeing the same old pictures and poses. She was a pleasure to deal with and easy to get in touch with. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family in the future! If you want excellent photography, she's worth it.

Genovese Ashford Studios did an incredible job on our wedding photos - all 650 of them! We got married at Houmas House Plantation in Louisiana and it was nice to know that Chris had done many weddings at Houmas House. It took a lot of stress and pressure off me by being able to rely on his experience and advice for where to take great shots and how to manage getting all the shots we wanted on a tight timeline. We planned our wedding from afar and it was such a relief that Chris responded quickly and thoroughly to every question we asked. Plus, I was impressed that they were able to get all of our photos to us only 5 weeks after the wedding!
