  • Rev. Dan took the time to learn about us; our background (we’re older), how we met, and why we love the other. His draft ceremony was unique and at times, humorous. Rev. Dan was personable and has a wonderful speaking voice. We highly recommend his services!

Karen & Jeffery were a delight to work with. The weather was perfect for their backyard garden wedding celebration, which was partly shared with others via Zoom. Their storybook romance was one we all enjoyed hearing retold.

  • Rev. Harris tailored our ceremony to fit our needs and did an amazing job. We wanted to incorporate tradition, religion, some personal history, and do it all in a timely and entertaining fashion. I wasn’t even sure that this could be done, but, somehow, Rev. Harris pulled it off and we had our perfect wedding ceremony. He not only did a great job with our ceremony, but he was a very nice man and easy to work with throughout the planning process.

  • Rev Dan is a funny but professional man that will make your once in a lifetime experience that much more memorable. Come to find out after the fact, one of my buddies that attended the wedding also had Rev Dan officiate his wedding and he was also very happy with the outcome. Rev Dan is extremely well versed in the whole process of a wedding or elopement and helps take away the stress of the most important part of the ceremony. 10/10 I would highly recommend him.

Dylan and Natali were a fun couple to work with. Open-minded, flexible, and happy with the different suggestions I gave them. I could see they are very much in love, and did not let the wedding details get in the way of a great celebration with their close friends and family. I know they will have a long and happy life together.

  • If you’re looking for an officiant, you need to book Reverend Dan right now! From the first meeting, to the rehearsal to the ceremony, Rev Dan was absolutely amazing. We were impressed when he even did a draft of our ceremony on our first meeting! He then work with us to create the perfect ceremony. His enthusiasm, professionalism and expertise on the day was amazing. There was a distraction in the audience and Rev Dan handled this so professionally and classy, we couldn’t thank him more for this. Thank you Rev Dan, we are so happy to have met you!

  • My husband & I lost our officiant approx. 1 week before our big day due to a serious health scare. Our previously booked officiant recommended us Dan Harris & I am sure glad he did! I really can't say how well the other officiant would have been, however I absolutely believe Dan Harris did the most amazing job marrying my husband & I! The entire ceremony was already pre-planned & written out in booklet. Dan Harris took that booklet & executed it just PERFECTLY! I just re-watched my ceremony video for the first time & I thought to myself "he just did a fantastic job"! The very first time we met Dan Harris was our wedding day & he was so friendly & welcoming. I thought our ceremony was the best part about our entire day thanks to Dan! We thank you again for being our officiant so last minute & doing such an amazing job! Sincerely, Ashley & Jake Anderson 10.19.2018

  • I can not say enough about how wonderful Reverend Daniel Harris was! He was the first officiant we met with and we cancelled all the rest! He is such a wonderful person and you can tell he really cares about your story and loves what he does. He took the time to ask us all about how we met and why we want to be together. He also asked us individually what we love about the other person and incorporated it into our script. We both cried while reading the first draft so you can only imagine how beautiful the ceremony script and readings were. His website was so helpful too in choosing additional readings and ceremony music and even gave us info on where to obtain our marriage license. The night before at the rehearsal he made everyone laugh and feel so comfortable. My husband and I honestly felt like we've known him forever. The ceremony was absolutely amazing! After the ceremony he helped with pictures and making sure I was hydrated by bringing me water and even holding it for me while ... Read more

  • Reverend Dan is the best! He performed our ceremony last week and also did our rehearsal dinner the day before. He is so incredibly friendly and personable, which made everything go so smoothly. He is a very seasoned professional, and I knew right away after meeting I could completely and totally trust him with our big day. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding officiant!

  • Like many other couples, our modest-sized wedding was derailed by Covid. Reverend Daniel made it a day we’ll never forget! With just a photographer and our parents in attendance, the Reverend gave a short but personal and heart-felt service. Very kind & good sense of humor.

Elizabeth and Karl were great to work with. They were not going to let the pandemic keep them from getting married and enjoying their wedding day. They were so relaxed and flexible to work with, and everything went well.

  • Dan Harris arrived late to our rehearsal but that was okay because he remained in contact about his ETA the whole time which was great. Although, during the rehearsal he kept providing plan B options that were very different and kinda wacky ideas compared to the more traditional ceremony we had discussed. He arrived on time for the wedding which was great but while the groomsmen/groom were getting ready, he came up with a wacky idea. He thought it was a good idea to pretend during the ceremony that the best man had lost the wedding rings because "it would be a great gag." Then after me the the bride had a meltdown, he wanted the last groomsmen to cheerfully say "its okay, i have the rings." I don't understand with all the experience he has, why he would think that this plan was a good one. Luckily none of the bridal party wanted to mess with my emotions during the wedding day. To top it off, he awkwardly stayed after the ceremony when it had been discussed prior that the officiant was... Read more

There are many factual errors: 1. They originally booked their wedding with another minister. I was only given about 2 weeks notice to take his place since he became ill. Ten days prior they invited me to also come to the reception. The accusation that I might seek "revenge" against them if they did not invite me to the reception, & for me to maybe not to turn in their marriage license, is totally without merit. I would be endangering my right to be a professional wedding officiant. 2. I most definitely was NOT drunk, nor I was ever "cut off" by the bartender. If I really were to get drunk & get a DUI while driving, I would have my drivers license suspended, & not be able to get to future weddings. 3. I have performed over 1,600 weddings. I asked them if they wanted to hear some ideas from other ceremonies & they said yes. The fact that they chose not to do what other couples have done & enjoyed doing should not be a criticism of me. 4. The accusation of "backhanded compliments" & implying their marriage would not last is completely false. Here is the nice email I sent them 2 days after the wedding: "Thanks for having me substitute for Rev. ** to perform your wedding ceremony. I think everything went well, & the weather was perfect. Plus all your guests seemed to enjoy themselves. And thank you for inviting me to the fun reception. You have nice family & friends. I've attached a scan of the marriage license. After the ** County Clerk processes it you can order certified copies from them. I wish you the best of happiness." 5. I sent them 11 really nice photos of their wedding & reception, but no acknowledgement from them. And if I was drunk, I would not have been able to take them. 6. Many guests complimented me on the wedding. If the guests told me, I am certain they told the couple the same things. They wrote this review without first contacting me to tell me their concerns, & to hear my side. There are opinions, & then there are facts.
