  • My husband and I were married here and we honestly couldn't imagine a more enchanting moment than when we said, "I DO!" here. Was it 106 degrees on our wedding day? Yes. Did we and our guests catch a great breeze from the hilltop? YES! The sunset was glorious, and the value for our package was fantastic. You cannot go wrong here. If it's summer, give all your guests handheld fans and avoid the middle of the day.

  • TINY, open-air Chapel South of Austin, situated on the edge of a cliff/ravine. It is a $100 deposit to reserve the Chapel, and you have the option of donating that money, or getting it refunded on the day of the ceremony. We got many compliments on the choice of venue for the ceremony.

  • Chapel Dulcinea and Tuscan Hall were Beautiful!! I could never ask for a more wonderful place to hold our wedding and reception. All the staff were amazing, and the views from the open air chapel have our guests still talking. There prices were resonable. This place is a hidden treasure. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!!!

  • We had a beautiful private ceremony at the lovey Chapel Dulcinea in the Texas hill country. We couldn’t have been happier with the location and services. We return each year to the enjoy the winding walking paths, beautiful landscape, and sweeping views!

  • I just discovered this site to post a review from 5 years ago. My husband and I were married there on 7/19/08. It was the first morning slot that we reserved and although it was July, there was a wonderful breeze and it was a perfect place for an intimate wedding. We only had a small number of people there and all we did was our service and photos, but I would highly recommend Chapel Dulcinea to anyone looking for a beautiful place! The staff was wonderful and we have been out twice afterwards near our anniversary to take more pictures with our own camera. I can't say enough about how pleased we were. We donated our reservation $ to the chapel after the service also.

  • This is the absolutely most gorgeous chapel for a wedding venue! And it's free! It is on the outskirts of Austin, TX and has breathtaking views. My husband and I booked the chapel online without seeing it, and we were surprised at how beautiful the place was. It was even more beautiful than its amazing pictures made it out to be. The staff was nice and there is a nice room for the Bride to change in. Everyone loved it! It is a very small chapel, so don't plan to have a big wedding here! They ask for a $100 deposit to book your date, and after the wedding, they will write you a check back for the amount making it FREE! If you have elderly people showing up, you can also rent a golf cart because there is a slight walk from the parking lot to the chapel.

  • This was a great wedding locale. Just beautiful.. and FREE!!!!* And of course it is booked far in advance. One needs to provide their own music but that was no problem with an Ipod and speakers.. or a violinist.. or whatever. *Let's talk cost. We walked out of the free venue about $1K poorer. Now I am NOT complaining. But if you want chairs, they will rent. A ride to the chapel in a covered golf cart? Charged rent. Now this is no problem at all.. just be aware that there may be some costs. And of course we did the cake reception which they did a beautiful job on - and that is where most of the money went. Would not have changed a thing. Others have mentioned the $100 deposit - we also donated ours to the facility. In closing - I can't imagine a better place to get married in Austin.

  • Chapel Dulcinea is a perfect location for a low-key wedding. First off, it is completely FREE! Yes, free. They require a $100 deposit to hold the date and time, but will return the money when you arrive for your ceremony. You may also donate the money to the chapel (as I did) in gratitude of this lovely location. Although there is meaning behind each architectural design of the chapel (which you can read about in the books they sell in the Welcome Center), all I can really say is how spectacular it is. It was built on a cliff overlooking the pristine Texas Hill Country, and yet it blends beautifully with the landscape. It is a very small chapel, however, and will only work for very small ceremonies. If you choose to have your ceremony at night, the chapel is illuminated by gas lamps. There is also a century-old bronze bell inside the bell tower at the front of the chapel which brides and grooms can ring after saying their vows. The sound resonates through the valley and is so... • It's free... what more can you say? The view is absolutely breathtaking. For $100 you reserve the date and time, and it's refundable on your wedding day. Staff is amazing and friendly. Book early though, because dates and times fill fast!!!

  • This chapel is one of a kind. If you are into the outdoor (it overlooks a cliff), mediterranean, open-air feel, than you will love this place. And did I mention it is free? Yes, we were able to reserve it for $100 which you are then able to get back on your big day or donate to the chapel. Reservations are easy to make, you can do everything online. For our wedding this place was amazing but if you plan to have a big wedding you will need to book a different venue (chapel only holds 30).
