  • We were lucky enough to come across and reserve Chapel Dulcinea for our February 2020 wedding. Their website has every single piece of information needed to plan your wedding with no surprises (You need to spend the time to read!!). The reservation process was seamless and any questions I emailed or called the staff with were promptly answered. They also have a robust list of service providers which comes in extremely handy when you are not from the area as we were. We chose Peary Photography & ATX Elopements for our special day and all expectations were exceeded. Our wedding was perfect for us and it all started with choosing Chapel Dulcinea as our venue.

  • If you're wondering if Chapel Dulcinea is too good to be true, I was right there with you! It is true! You can get married at this beautiful venue for free! We did opt to donate and get a brick along with sponsoring the gas lamps. It was absolutely beautiful and our guests said that even the drive up was magical. The staff are so kind and patient. I'm so thankful this gem exists 💖

Thank you Brittney! We truly appreciate your kind words and your donation to help keep Chapel Dulcinea open, free, and beautiful.

  • We originally planned to marry at the chapel on 4/4/20. That turned out to be right at the height of shut downs, etc. They were extremely gracious and let us reschedule for October. It turned out beautifully and we were able to have the wedding live streamed so family as far as Tokyo, Japan and Boquete, Panama could join. We cannot recommend this venue more! This is the spot for an intimate ceremony. We didn't even need to decorate it is so beautiful all on it's own.

Thanks for the kind words Jane! We are thrilled your guests were able to take advantage of the free live stream at the Chapel. We hope you will come back to see us soon!

  • The chapel is perched on top of this beautiful hill the scenery is breath taking. Everything about the chapel was perfect. The only thing I wished was different was the amount of time you get to spend at that beautiful place. If you are wanting something small yet beautiful this is the perfect place for you.

  • Chapel Dulcinea's mission is beautiful & altruistic, and the venue is breathtaking, but their staff RUINED our wedding. We had reserved the venue from 7-8:30 pm. Our wedding ceremony was over by 8:20, but none of our small wedding party (8 guests) were watching the clock. At 8:38, after greeting our Zoom guests, we were about to take a family photo when a female staff member arrived who was WAY more RUDE than necessary to tell us our time was up and we needed to leave. We abandoned our photos and since we had already gathered our belongings and swept up our flower petals, we immediately began to leave, but that woman followed us down the pathway harassing us all the way to our cars. We cooperated completely with her request to leave as fast as we could once she rudely brought the time to our attention, but as I, the bride, tried as politely as I could to explain to her, harassing us was defeating her purpose by slowing us down as we tried to leave, and my 77 year old father coul... • My fiancé and I are one of the many couples who planned a wedding on April 2020; COVID-19 changed everything. The chapel closed per local guidelines and they only gave us the opportunity to reschedule our wedding date, without losing part of our deposit. If we elected to “cancel” they were keeping half of our deposit. My partner and I contacted multiple people, and everyone refused to show any flexibility. The continued to express that “allowing me to reschedule” was a generous offer. Their actions show a lack of care for every couple who’s having to adjust all their plans and expectations for their special date. Extremely disappointing.

  • Would give 0 stars if possible. The world is in shambles due to reasons outside our own control and during a nationwide pandemic this business shows no heart. This company will deceive you, they took our down payment which on the website states it as a “donation,” and only partially refunded us. We had to cancel due to Covid-19 which is not in our control and all Brittney had to say was “we did the best we could, hope you have a great evening.” I do not recommend any place that cheats people out of their wedding plans and has nothing to say about other than “have a great night.”

  • A wedding is supposed to be a joyous occasion, but after getting married at Chapel Dulcinea and using one of their reception venues, we were almost unable to enjoy our special day. The customer service at the Chapel, after they received the full payment for the reception venue, was poor. They were so helpful when we arrived to visit the chapel about 10-20 times to show our mothers the venue and to ask questions. Once they got the money, they seemed to stop wanting to help and go back on what multiple employees had told us about the costs of adding time or upgrading from the smaller venue to the bigger venue on their property. While it is called "the free wedding chapel" that is about the only thing they hold up on their end. If you ever want to use their reception venues, just don't. It is a much better idea to move your reception to another venue, a restaurant, or even your back yard before shoveling out any extra money to these folks, especially when you can't even go to the receptio...
