Catherine was fantastic to work with. From the beginning she listens to what you want & even creates a Pinterest board for you to work together on. She wrote out the music to one of my favorite billy joel songs for our cocktail hour & it was perfect. Having her play our ceremony & cocktail, gave a very elegant flair to our wedding & people loved it!

I recently had Catherine play the violin for my wedding ceremony on 9/19. She was excellent! From the first time I spoke to Catherine on the phone, I knew I wanted her to play for my wedding. She is very personable, friendly and she came across as someone who would be willing to do anything for you to make your wedding day special. She was a joy to work with and I was so happy I found her! The music during the ceremony was beautiful, it provided the extra touch of beauty and elegance that I was hoping for. The music Catherine played brings tears to my eyes every time I watch the video! You will not be disappointed if you choose to hire Catherine for your ceremony musician!

Catherine was so easy to work with! I could text her, call, email - and she responded quickly! She set up a Pinterest board for me to send her songs I liked. She can play anything! She even played Beyoncé and Jay-Z Crazy in love for us! She was awesome!!! Highly recommend!

Catherine is a total sweetheart and incredibly talented! She provided music for our wedding ceremony and asked us to pick any song under the sun, no matter the genre or how obscure it might be. She nailed every single song. She really added that something extra to our ceremony and we could not recommend her enough - she's amazing!

Catherine was great to work with and customized our playlist for our ceremony and cocktail hour to precisely what we wanted. She has such a wide range of songs to play which made our lives so much easier. The 80's medley she played during our cocktail hour was awesome and received great reviews from many of our guests.

My ceremony and cocktail hour would have never been the same without Catherine! She was absolutely incredible. Catherine also put together an amazing trio for me with a guitar and harp. For our cocktail hour, Catherine suggested playing Metallica to mix it up!! Metallica is my husbands favorite band and we saw them on our second date. She played enter Sandman and even learned Orion (my Husband's favorite song) especially for us. She is a true talent and I was honored to have her!

We hired Catherine to play at our wedding ceremony and she was fabulous! We gave her a list of Beatles songs and some others that we wanted and she played them beautifully. She even sent us videos of her playing the songs ahead of time to make sure we liked them! My only regret is that I didn't get to spend much time with her on my wedding day. She was wonderful to work with and a very talented artist and I would recommend her to anyone for their event!

Catherine Boyd is an unbelievable artist. From the moment we met, she was the most responsive and enthusiastic vendor I dealt w/throughout my wedding planning. She treated me as if I was the only bride she was working with--and I know for sure I was not! I hired Catherine to play for an hour during our ceremony, as our wedding band did not cover that part of the evening. Catherine and I spoke on the phone at our first meeting, and we began creating a list of unique and fantastic music--but I had no idea how she was going to play it on the violin. For example, I wanted to walk down the aisle to "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol and I wanted to surprise my husband w/the Eagles Fight Song! Catherine never batted an eye about my requests, and on the day of the wedding, her music was breathtaking! Catherine was an exceptional violinist. I originally wanted a string quartet, but due to bookings I was referred to her. She was so easy-going and very eager to please. We discussed what types of music to use and helped me customize a list of music for my ceremony. Upon listening to some tracks on-line and watching live footage; I knew she would do well. Nothing prepared me for how fantastic she played live. Even on the beach with the wind; she was able to use that to her advantage and her music carried across the beach. Everyone was extremely impressed with her skills and I received numerous compliments. I would highly recommend her to anyone whom needed a musician for their event.

Catherine was a wonderful addition to our ceremony. Her playing added a real elegant feel to the ceremony. She was great to work with. For my prelude she learned multiple songs (our guest wedding songs) in order to add a personalized feel to our ceremony. She is extremely talented. She even noticed that a couple from out of state had missed the ceremony so she went to the cocktail hour and played music outside for our guest and family. (this was beyond the agreed time that we had set.) This was one vendor that I felt like I had UNDER paid!! She went way beyond our expectations.
