  • The venue provided the perfect experience for my son and his bride. Colby was awesome, start to finish. This is vital, with the countless details that generate stress for any wedding. The houses provided a delightful weekend experience and lifetime memory. Would definitely recommend you all.

  • They were very accommodating to our large group and made sure to make themselves available for our group, should we need them throughout the weekend we stayed with them.

  • We used one of the houses for the bride and her bridal party to get ready. This location is absolutely beautiful. It is such a peaceful, spacious setting. The attention to detail in décor and supplies at the house were amazing. There is such solitude here yet members of the staff are also seen bustling around the farm. Anytime a family member or vendor would arrive, they were met and cheerfully guided to their destination. We felt well-cared for all weekend.

  • We were a college group returning home from Washington DC, and stayed overnight in Roosevelt and Lincoln houses. We arrived late in the evening, and everything was all set up for us- including extra rollaway beds to accommodate our larger crew- the rollaways were arranged in short order after a quick phone call- excellent flexibility and accommodation of our needs! Both houses were cozy and neat, and we had a great overnight stay- and when daylight came we were treated to beautiful scenery!

  • This was the first venue we saw, and ended up being the only one. We fell in love with the the setting, the reception area, and the fact that family and friends can stay on the property. The fact that we get the farm for the entire weekend is exactly what I was looking for for our wedding. Cherry on top is Colby, the property manager. He could not be more friendly or more accommodating. Answering all questions, providing all options, and overall making us comfortable and beyond excited for our wedding next September.

  • My husband and I had been planning for over a year to have a large wedding in New Orleans, LA, where I am from. However, our wedding planned for the Spring of 2020 has been indefinitely postponed. We still wanted to get married and have a small, socially distanced ceremony with our close friends and family near our current home in Baltimore Maryland. I found Caboose Farms and reached out to Colby to see if we could rent the Jefferson House and conduct a small ceremony on the property. Colby replied immediately and we spoke on the phone the same day. He welcomed us to the venue the next week so he could show us the various ceremony sites. There were so many picturesque sites to choose from! The day before our wedding, Colby and his team set up chairs at the ceremony site and dropped off tables, chairs, and linens to the Jefferson house for our reception. As Caboose Farms has many properties, we were able to safely house our friends and families while keeping everyone social distanced! T... Read more

  • Caboose Farm and their manager/staff were amazing. While we did not actually have the wedding at the event barn (which is amazing), we did host a lunch in the upstairs bar area the day after the wedding. They have an amazing caterer who is super friendly and flexible. Her food was so delicious and presentation was perfect. We stayed at the Washington House next to the event barn which held so many of our guests (16 people). The 7 bedrooms, 4 full baths and 2 '1/2 baths' were so convenient. One bedroom and bath is handicap accessible. In fact, the whole area (house, event barn, upstairs bar area) are all handicap accessible. Everything is upgraded including appliances, plumbing, heat/ac. Such a wonderful view and plenty of relaxation areas. Swings, fire pit, patio ~ couldn't ask for more. Toys for little ones. The staff checked in regularly and we so appreciated the conversations. You will never go wrong with checking them out for your wedding weekend ~ after all, weddings ... Read more

  • My now husband and I learned about Caboose Farms on a facebook page for couples whose wedding was impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Feeling lost and down about our previously cancelled 120 person April 2020 wedding and feeling unsure about what the future held, we stumbled Caboose Farms' generous "small intimate wedding ceremony" package offered to COVID-couples. Colby acted as a compass in guiding us towards our dream "mini-mony." He took us on a tour of the property and ceremony locations with our families and offered us reassurance throughout the process that we would have a beautiful wedding despite the circumstances being different than we imagined. In addition to a variety of beautiful locations for your ceremony, the property also has a number of private houses for rent - meaning that we were able to get ready onsite and have a small reception with our guests the day of. My grandma (who means the world to me) was even able to be a part of our day because the property and ho... Read more

  • We were a large family with 10 kids and multiple relatives and friends coming from 1,600 miles away. The staff at Caboose farm was wonderful to deal with from reservation to check out. We were able to coordinate the long weekend and a dinner for 50 people all remote and with minimal effort. When we arrived everyone's first comment was "WOW what a nice house". The house was an old farm house that was redone and very accommodating to a large group. It had everything we needed multiple beautiful bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of room to entertain friends and family. Then the 'Barn'.... it was a perfect venue to host a dinner for family and friends the on site caterer was fantastic to deal with and the food was excellent. Finally on the Wedding day.....the pictures around the house and property where gorgeous. Caboose farm was great all around. We highly recommend it

  • We stayed at The Adams House and The Eisenhower House. Both are much larger inside then they appear from the outside. So much better than a hotel. We had 6 or 7 families spread out with plenty of beds, bathrooms and space. So clean and new on the inside with finished basements in both houses. Central AC was great. Colby was super attentive and responded right away to all questions. The price was fair for sure and we will be back in the future.

  • The setting at Caboose Farm is fabulous! The houses are clean and neat and great for guests staying for the event! We had a tent set up the hill from the Barn with dining tables, a live band and dance floor. The food was delicious - catering by Monica!
