From the moment my wife and I met DJ ED, from Byrne Rock, I knew he was the guy. He was incredibly professional, and helped us with everything from coordinating events during the reception, to recommending killer songs for the big day. His music selection and timing was awesome, and he knows how to read a crowd! There is no one else I'd rather have had rockin' the mic on my wedding day. Five stars and two thumbs up!

My new husband and I just had our wedding this past weekend and DJ Ed was AMAZING. From our first consultation up until the day of the wedding, he was incredibly professional and easy to work with. He also really knew how to read what the crowd was feeling. We got compliments from other guests all night long about how much they loved our DJ. He even sent us a few pictures and videos at the end of the night that he’d been able to take of our big day. We would highly recommend him to anyone. One of the best parts of our wedding!

DJ Byrne Rock was incredible to work with all throughout the process, from our first phone call to the night of the reception. He guided us through the music process, knew the ins and outs of our venue, and was genuinely attentive to our needs the whole time. DJ Byrne Rock is the way to go for your Big Day! We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception, all at the same venue. This didn't seem to be a challenge at all for Byrne Rock. He did an amazing job with our ceremony music, looping it as needed and fading it in and out for a nice effect. He also kept everyone having fun on the dance floor at the reception. We scheduled a call with him the week before the wedding and ran through our tentative schedule of events and our ideas about the music for our wedding (I can't emphasize enough how important and helpful this is!). When the Big Day came, he showed up early to make sure he was all set up at both the ceremony site and in the reception hall. DJ Byrne is a fantastic DJ and I highly recommend him. We had been working with a different DJ who completely ghosted us 3 weeks before the wedding. In a panic we found Byrne on the knot who was luckily still available. He was very professional and had a contract drawn up within a day or two, giving us peace of mind. From there on he was great to work with. He had no qualms about doing our entire wedding (ceremony, dinner, and reception) which were in 3 different buildings, and pulled it off invisibly to us. Further, he had a great list of songs commonly requested that we went through so he could get the feel of what we were expecting. Finally, the night of he did a great job reading the crowd and really made the evening by getting lots of people out on the dance floor. All in all I would highly recommend DJ Byrne for your wedding.

Byrne Rock is the BEST! He really listens to what you want, and implements your vision flawlessly. He provided sound equipment for our daughter's wedding ceremony, which was wonderful, then he DJ'd the reception. The music was great, the volume perfect first for dinner, then for dancing, and his "master of ceremony-ing" was perfect -- he made it all about the bride and groom, not about drawing attention to himself. He's a class act. Highly recommend!

Byrne did an excellent job DJing our wedding! We are Jews and had some wedding traditions, such as the Horah, that he easily rallied everyone for. I have been to some weddings with a cheesy or awkward DJs, Byrne is none of that! He played music from 2pm to 10pm for us and kept people on the dance floor the entire night. Seriously, he had to tell our crowd 'this is the last song and then the wedding ends' before people left the dance floor. I created a playlist for him but I recommend letting him decide what to play when and even encouraging him to go off the playlist when needed. He had a mic for the Rabbi and wireless mics for the toasts. I could not more highly recommend this DJ!

DJ Byrne was amazing! We hired him for our wedding a couple of weeks ago. He was easy to communicate with from the beginning and throughout the wedding planning process. I made a few last minute changes on him during the week of the wedding and he was very flexible and happy to oblige. The night of the wedding, we decided to keep him an extra hour and he agreed without hesitation. We would highly recommend him! Amazing!

My friend a former DJ guided me on my search and with his guidance I was able to find Byrne and it was it was a wonderful experience. Not going to lie, but picking a DJ for our wedding was the most difficult decision I had to make. And I am glad Byrne was there to help us celebrate the night away! Out of all the vendors we had to hire for our wedding, we found hiring a DJ to be the most perplexing. It is hard to see samples of their work unless you have already attended one of their events. You basically have to rely on the recommendations of strangers on the internet. Well internet, let me be that stranger to highly recommend Byrne Rock! Byrne killed the music for our entire wedding from pre-ceremony to cocktail hour to a non-stop dance party at the reception. He was able to weave in our different tastes/song preferences/requests throughout the night while also balancing the feel of the crowd. We decided to go with Byrne after a couple of interviews with other DJs. After talking to Jesse Jones, this decision was a no-brainer. Jesse was focused on what my wife and I wanted, and nothing else. He flawlessly executed everything during the ceremony, along with the first dance and parent dances, even with very short notice. I had multiple friends and family members comment on how great Jesse was throughout the day. On top of that, the price was very fair. I would hire Jesse again in a heartbeat for any future events.

My husband and I hired Byrne to DJ our wedding in March. We decided to hire him because he was very knowledgeable about dj-ing weddings in Austin and music in general. He is great at communication and will get back to you quickly if you e-mail him with questions or concerns, which is definitely something you want when planning a big event. And the best part is that he is super chill and keeps the party going without being over the top. Actually, the best part is that he is all of those things while being reasonably priced! We are huge music lovers/snobs and the music at our reception was really important to us. During our initial meeting, we mentioned a specific song that we loved. We didn't bring it up again or make any special note about it on the list of songs we sent in, but Byrne remembered and played it for us as we were leaving the reception. Byrne was an amazing Dj for our wedding! He came highly recommended by our wedding planner, and I know why. He worked so well with us and was so flexible throughout the planning process, always quick to answer any of my questions. Half way through wedding planning, we had to move to Minnesota, so I was very nervous not getting to meet any of my vendors in person until the day of my wedding. Byrne was SO helpful, had a wonderful song list already composed which helped me narrow down our choices so much quicker.
