  • We choose to get our bridesmaids dresses from Bridal Gallery by Yvonne because of their wide selection. We went shopping for our dresses back in January (for an October wedding). My girls and I had picked out the ones that we wanted and were told to make sure that everyone was fitted by mid March. Simple enough. I ended up calling at the end of March / beginning of April to ensure that the dresses had been ordered and was told that the last girl had just come in to get fitted and that they would be placing the order (my last girl had been fitted around St. Patricks day). I called again a week or so later to make sure that they had been ordered and had been told “they had been meaning to call me”. Apparently the designer was no longer making my dress and they didn’t know if they’d be able to get me the one that I wanted.   • My experience with Yvonne's was great. They accommodated me and my wife and made sure I was not shown her dress when trying on mine. We both had great experiences I had 3 fittings and she had 2 and our dresses were ready to go when they said. The only thing was we were provided with cheap plastic dress bags instead of a black and white Yvonne's bag like they told us. Now my mothers experience she had gotten a mother of the bride and and mother of the groom dress both here. First issue was with the mother of the groom dress the seamstress was over an hour late for her first fitting. On the second when she went to get the dress she was not told the alterations needed to be paid in cash, so she paid for that when she did the fitting for her mother of the bride dress. On to that now was that when she went to pick up her mother of the bride dress it was not finished. It was apparently a two day process for that to get resolved. So just be aware that experiences may differ

We ordered bridesmaid dresses in beginning of February and they said they would be in July then I called in July and they were extremely rude and said I called early that they would be in by middle of August...I called August 23rd and they STILL were not in. They ended up coming in September. The wedding was in beginning of October. The dress I ordered they ordered 2 sizes too small...then tried to blame ME for it. Tried to fix it...then 3 weeks later I called for it to be picked up and they told me it wasn’t ready and said it would be ready 3 days before the wedding. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. I’ve been here for MANY dresses from prom to weddings and I’ve never had an issue. I will never be back here. The staff was unbelievably rude and laughed in my face at multiple occasions.   • STAY FAR AWAY!!! In February we came for bridesmaid dresses, the second we walked into the door they were rude and that should’ve been a clue to leave. Everyone found a dress they fell in love and decided to purchase. We were told around July 5 the dresses would be in. July and August came and went, no dresses. Finally they arrive in September with barely a month left before the wedding. My maid of honors dress came 4 sizes to SMALL. They tried blaming it on us saying it was our fault. Last I checked we weren’t the ones who took measurements? They tried making her take the sample dress for the SAME price she paid for a brand new dress. The sample dress has been tried on by hundreds of people, had stains and tears etc. All we wanted to make things right was to get her some money back or have alterations done for free.   • Please do not make the same mistake I did; go with another bridal shop. My experience with Bridal by Yvonne was an absolute nightmare. Bridal attendants were often rude and dismissive of any concerns or questions from myself or anyone with me at the appointments. Every single time I was in the shop they were running extremely late. My biggest complaint by far with Yvonne's is with their alterations: Alterations were overpriced and rushed which resulted in a complete botch job. I only wanted my dress hemmed, paid $500 in cash to do so, and the seamstress hemmed it so short you could see about 3-4 full inches between the end of the dress and floor. When the seamstress came in to look she immediately blamed me and accused me of changing shoes; I was in flats both days. Yvonne happened to be in the shop that night and was able to steam and stretch the dress enough to make it look ok.   • I am not one to write reviews, but I do not want the disaster I went through to happen to another bride. Luckily, I am very easy going, laid back, and wasn't allowing anything to ruin my wedding day. I went to Yvonne's to try on dresses with my Mother in law and Sister in law. I walked in and was treated wonderfully. They made the whole experience very personal and made me feel extremely special. I wasn't expecting to find my dress that day but fortunately, I did. I bought the dress February 2nd, and picked it up a few weeks later. My dress never left the Garment bag until August when I took my dress to be altered by a local seamstress. She asked me if I had bought my dressed used. I was under the impression my dress was NOT used. She then proceeds to point out all the damages to my dress. There was multiple holes, the tags were so worn out from being washed multiple times, you couldn't read anything they said.   • Had an excellent experience picking out my dress with Darina. She knew just what to put for my body type to show me all different styles while still making me feel beautiful. Marge did my alterations and was fantastic. Yvonne came in for my final fitting and made me feel even better! Highly recommend the team of women above!

  • I was happy with my choice to get my dress from Yvonne's! They had a lot of beautiful dresses that were just my style, and I LOVED my bridal consultant. Her name was Darina and she was amazing at pulling dresses that fit the ideas I showed her while also introducing some new ones along those lines. I am a bride that wears leg braces and she was easily the most thoughtful and helpful attendant in all the shops I went to when it came to getting me in and out of my dresses. Only part of the experience that was a bit stressful was someone told me on the phone that my dress was coming in a month later than originally stated when I called to check in, which would have left me with only 4 weeks to do alterations. This didn't turn out to be the case and the dress came on time, but the miscommunication led to a bit of a panicked 24 hours. Overall, it was a good experience, prices seemed fair, and I would recommend anyone meet with Darina with no hesitation!!

  • I had an absolutely wonderful expirence shopping for my wedding dress at Yvonne’s. Eva was beyond amazing! After showing her just a few pictures of the styles I was interested in she knew exactly what to pull. And after trying only six dresses I found the one! I went with my mother, my mother in law and my maid of honor and she made sure she took everyone’s opinions and suggestions into consideration. I can’t say enough good things about my expirence and I’m so excited to return for my fitting! Thank you so much Eva for making what I thought would be the most stressful part of wedding planning easy and stress free!

  • I found the most beautiful dress at Yvonne’s, her team did an excellent job pulling dresses for me my first and last day of dress shopping! I cannot say enough wonderful things about their seamstress, having a mother who is also a seamstress, she was spot on with my alterations! For my final fitting she came in to help show my bridesmaids exactly how to lace up my back and position the dress. I highly recommend Bridal Gallery by Yvonne when you are searching for your perfect dress!

  • My daughter and I have been to 8 different bridal shops from Saratoga to Kingston. Yvonne's was by far the worst experience we encountered. They did get us in quickly and the room we were in was very nice, but we had a hard time with our consultant. First she did not listen to what my daughter was looking for. There were times during the 1 hour and 20 minutes we were there that she was downright rude! We set a budget of $2000 and the first round of gowns she brought to us were from the clearance rack and nothing like the pictures we had shown her. My daughter had explained the lace she was looking for and a certain lace she was not interested in. The first 6 gowns had the lace she did not want. We at that point asked if our budget was too low for their shop and we were told no, then we were brought some gowns that were on the right track (thanks to the seamstress who actually listened to what we wanted).
