  • Our wedding at BRICK was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The venue is a beautiful blank canvas that was easily transformed, we could bring to life our vision of what we wanted our wedding to be. The beautiful interior, location, being able to bring in your own vendors with so many customization options - all while keeping the party going past midnight with a 24-hour rental (something that we had a hard time finding in SD) - were just a few of the perks that drew us to BRICK. The preferred vendors were an added bonus - all of our vendors had previously worked with BRICK, with the exception of our photographer, which made the process so smooth. Every single vendor we used exceeded our expectations and made our day so special (ArtQuest Catering, Tiny Victories for floral, Jenny Wenny Cakes for our amazing cake/dessert bar, Cedar & Pine for rentals, DJ Artform).   • As a wedding planner, I love nothing more than a blank canvas like Brick! I had previously worked with the venue when I sold event rentals but I finally had my first experience getting to coordinate and execute a wedding from start to finish in the space. You have so much freedom to bring your vision to life and Victoria, Mallory and Ingrid were all helpful in the planning process. I don't recommend couples to tackle this venue alone because there are a lot of moving parts and someone will need to handle that for you come the day-of. I have seen this venue grow to be one of the most sought after spaces in San Diego and I am proud to have been able to do an event there. Mallory was our Client Concierge for this particular wedding on April 20th and she was great at answering our questions during the planning process. I hope to be able to work there again soon and look forward to working with their amazing team!

  • What an absolutely beautiful venue! My husband and I fell in love with this venue the moment we saw it and our wedding was just the best when we had it here in September 2019! You pretty much get the venue as a blank canvas and can make out your wedding to be whatever you want through different vendors. Getting all our vendors to work here was a breeze and we had a few new ones that BRICK had never worked with before. If you're the type of person that wants to completely customize your wedding with a variety of different vendors then BRICK is the perfect place for you!

  • My husband and I are pleased that we chose BRICK as our venue for our wedding. BRICK served as a 'blank palette' where we created and realized the vision for our wedding, with the leadership of Victoria (our very patient wedding coordinator!), and the epic vendors!! Victoria and her team were professional, accommodating, and really amazing in assisting us with our needs and 'demands'.. and they delivered! Very gratefuL

  • Where to even start? BRICK is an amazing wedding venue, but their coordination services is really what makes it special. Victoria was our coordinator and I cannot thank her enough for all her hard work in helping make our wedding day perfect. Victoria truly exceeded any and all expectations I had when it came to a coordinator. She made my year of wedding planning fun, easy, and as stress free as possible. She saved us some much time when it came to researching and reaching out to vendors, and she offered honest opinions when asked. Victoria also took care of all our contracts and coordinating with our vendors to finalize our proposals. To have someone worrying about the little details for you, in addition to creating the perfect timeline for your big day, is HUGE in those last few weeks before your wedding.   • Brick is such a beautiful place! It's big and open perfect for a big wedding. They are also super flexible you can pretty much party all night since they rent it out to you for a full 24hrs! What other place does that?!

  • Great Venue!! The size of the space is perfect for a wedding or event. You have the freedom to choose your own vendors for your event with this venue. If you pay extra for the Brick Coordination, you'll be completely stress free!! Trust me it's worth it! They help out with everything and the coordinators are so friendly!! The location is perfect!! Right in the middle of Liberty Station. I had my wedding here just a few weeks back and it was a dream!! I couldn't be happier with my selection for the big day!!

  • The BRICK venue and team were incredible for our wedding! The venue is stunning, its perfectly located in Liberty Station and the interior has such a rustic feel that was perfect for our event. The team at BRICK (especially Mallory & Miranda) were always accommodating and on email, we organised most of our wedding internationally, so their communication, suggestions, and vendor contacts were very helpful. The fact we could stay open late (our wedding went until 2am!) was a huge plus for us. Very glad we went with this venue and team!

  • My husband and I got married at Brick on 10/6/18 and it was dreamy!! Anyone who complains about the planes overhead must not have been having a good time at the wedding/party they were at because we barely even noticed them once our ceremony got underway. We chose the space because of the flexibility to choose your own vendors, the fact that there is no curfew and lastly, the location. Liberty Station itself is such a great spot with all of the restaurants and retail plus the proximity to the San Diego airport for out of town guests is so convenient. My husband and I are both event planners so we opted not to do coordination through Brick, however we worked closely with our venue contact - Mallory - and she was wonderful. She was super responsive and very helpful. She had great tips and insight whenever we were unsure of something or wanted to know best practices.   • We were so excited about booking with Brick for our August wedding in 2018. We had a large wedding with 300 guests and it was one of the only venues that could accommodate them and allow us to bring in our own food and really individualize our ceremony. However, we were left feeling so disappointed with our experience. In fact, we waited 9 months to write a review because it was difficult to put into words how upsetting our time with them was. Here are a few of the headlines: 1. Brick charged us for a forklift so that we could hang banners on the day of our wedding. However, when our planner arrived to use it, the tables had already been set up and BRICK refused to let us use the forklift. It would have been helpful for them to let us know that we could only use the forklift at the very beginning before any tables had been set up.   • Brick was the first venue we looked at. The day we went to see the venue everyone was so helpful. We ended up going with them because we loved the warehouse look and wanted to bring all our own vendors. They assign you a point of contact (coordinator) and we were originally given coordinator Ingrid to help with our wedding day but were switched to Mallory. Unfortunately Mallory did not leave a good taste in our mouth. She was not helpful at all. I first asked her for catering information of a wedding I saw on their blog. She said "She did not do that wedding so she did not know" They make you provide them all vendor information so I am sure she could have found it. Trying to schedule a day to do a walk through with our day of coordinator proved to be difficult. She was not very accommodating, we were finally able to decided on a day and she acted like she did not want to help answer any of our questions and she had something better to be doing.   • Brick is such a beautiful venue! We are so happy we chose it for our reception. The only issue we had is we used their digital photo booth and the photos were never sent out to our guests emails. When I reached out to Ingrid about it she said she would look into it but regardless we will get a copy of all the photos that were taken. Our wedding was two weeks ago and I am bummed because we still haven't received anything. Brick is honestly one of the coolest wedding venues in san diego. Learn from my mistake and use someone else for the photobooth though.

  • We booked with BRICK because we loved the space. We did not pay for BRICK coordination which I'm sure would have made our experience more smooth. However, DIYers here and we were on a budget ($20k to be specific which we managed to stay within). My rating above for service is reflected in the fact that our representative changed three times in 6 months. I kept getting a new rep who wanted to go over all of things the other rep had already gone over - just inconvenient for us and seems like an easy fix with some note-taking/files. We were disappointed with the lack of parking day-of. Our wedding was on a Thursday and still several guests had trouble parking or had to walk a far distance. We had trouble with set-up timing. 10 am just isn't early enough for DIY. If you are hiring staff and a planner, go for it.
