  • I had the best experience with Boston Cafe & Catering! Everything was way beyond my expectations. Ashley and Savio (I hope I spelled it right) were INCREDIBLE!! They went above and beyond for us and made everything run so smoothly. Our family and friends cannot stop talking about how great the food and service was! I would definitely refer to family and friends and I would definitely use them again! Thank you guys for making our wedding the perfect day for us!

  • Our experience with Boston Cafe and Catering was an A+. Marieke was very helpful and present during the planning process - any emails or questions were answered almost immediately. The food was amazing, our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! I highly recommend using Boston Cafe and Catering for your event.

  • Ours was a small event (60 guests) and as such did not have a very high price point for the caterer. Two of the three companies whom I interviewed treated me as such. NOT SO, with Boston Cafe and Catering! From my first conversation, I had my fingers crossed for a competent kitchen and good food. Ashleigh Wasson bent over backwards to make our event easy & fabulous. Along the way, I developed relationships with Fiona (catering supervisor) and Melanie, BC&C's delightful receptionist. To any bride who is planning a party herself: you call the caterer a LOT in the last days. The receptionist can make or break you when your catering liaison is not available when you call! BC&C's executive chef was very helpful in planning our menu and very gracious in making every change we requested. We dedicated a significant portion of our budget to providing good food & wine. Our dollars with BC&C were well spent. We have received a great deal of feedback about how much guests enjoyed their meals. The... Read more

  • I'm very happy that we chose to use Boston Cafe and Catering. We were under a tight budget and they were willing to work with us on every detail, every step of the way. They also decorated for the ceremony and reception, and worked with our vendors as they arrived, almost like a day-of coordinator. They also went above and beyond on the wedding day: we had decided to move the ceremony inside because of rain during the day, but when the rain stopped 90 minutes beforehand they offered to move it outside where we had planned it. The food was fine, and the service was outstanding!

  • I got married at Lyman Estate. Because of the historic venue, my husband and I were provided with a list of caterers to choose from- catering companies comfortable working in historic locations, I'm assuming? I called all companies listed. Most told me they couldn't do a wedding for under $140 a plate. One woman told me she didn't do passed appetizers, only cheese and meat platters... Boston Cafe and Catering was the easy middle of the road choice to go for a tasting. They gave us a proposed menu offering great food at $100 a plate... and IT WAS SO GOOD. The kind of flavors you might find at an upscale bistro. We were sold. On my wedding day everything went very well, food was just as good as at the tasting. The onnnlyyy negative thing i heard from my guests was that they cleared the food too quickly. I guess some people weren't done eating and the servers took the plates... but that might have been because my guests wanted to lick their plates clean?? :)

  • We had a last minute change of our day of coordinator and he did an AMAZING job. All of our guest were happy, drinks were flowing and the food was amazing! We went with a casual BBQ theme and had a pie bar in place of a traditional wedding cake!

  • Don't use BCC for your wedding, use them for a corporate event which seems to be their specialty. We fell in love with our first coordinator Tova which is why we went with them, but I wish I had gone with Off the Vine catering in hindsight (check them out!). BCC lost the first coordinator (Tova), then the second (Andree), then they tried to put us with a 3rd event coordinator (Christine) and we were so pissed with all the changes that they paired us with Sarah who has been with the company forever. Sarah was great to work with for the last couple months of our planning, but in the end, it just felt disorganized, she didn't do a walk through with us so I had no idea how everything would look, and she increased all the quantities of food a week before the wedding, said "enjoy your weekend, let's chat about this next week" and then when we chatted said we couldn't change them because we were a week out from the wedding and we were stuck with the cost because it was in our contract which...
