  • I'm an event planner who originally stumbled on this company while surfing for items for a bride's wedding. I've used them a few times when my customers have me do their floral decor. I've had very good results with their flowers and will continue to use them when the need arises.

  • I ordered 150 white roses for centerpieces. I was extremely nervous about the whole process of timing the arrival and giving them enough time to open up and prep them. I was also very concerned about the weather being that it was 90 plus degrees in July. Blooms by the Box called me and asked if I wanted to upgrade shipping so the flowers would arrive in the morning instead of the hot afternoon. I was thankful that they made this recommendation and I upgraded the shipping. I couldn't have been happier with the results! I had the flowers delivered two days before the wedding and prepared them as instructed. The flowers opened up and were so full and beautiful. Everyone loved them. I would definitely use them again and recommend Blooms by the Box to anyone.

  • I ordered flowers from Blooms By The Box for my June wedding and I couldn't have been happier! I ordered hydrangeas, a ton of roses, calla lilies, and some greenery. Everything was so fresh and beautiful. I would recommend Blooms By The Box to any DIY Bride out there, great customer service too!

  • I read the reviews for Blooms By The Box and decided to go with them for my wedding flowers. I was a little worried when they emailed me two days before my order was due to ship out and told me that part of the flowers I wanted were no longer available. Blooms By The Box really came through. Not only did they find me a different flower (that worked out beautifully), they also covered the additional cost of this flower, as it was more expensive than my original order. I was so pleased with their timeliness and professionalism. The flowers arrived on time and in fabulous condition. I would highly, highly recommend this vendor!

  • Awful! Ordered our flowers wholesale and they showed up wilted. I expected this and followed all instructions they gave to make sure they bloomed. After 5 days our calla lilies never bloomed! I had to buy flowers for our whole wedding party the morning of the wedding. I suggest no one buy wholesale, and especially not from this venue. They were basically dead when they arrived. I lost a lot of money doing it this way, and it caused a great hassle I didn�t need on the big day.

First and foremost, (no excuses!) flowers are indeed perishable, and there a number of factors beyond our control that can affect flower condition. Of course, it can't be the customer's problem, so we have a Quality Guarantee simply unmatched by our competitors. Had Tarena contacted us in the days before her wedding, we would have immediately rectified the situation, providing replacement flowers at no cost or a full refund -- her choice. The BloomsByTheBox Quality Guarantee is prominently displayed on the website, as well as within the order packaging. We don't know why, but Tarena has never contacted BloomsByTheBox about her May 11 order, choosing instead to post this review some months later. We do wish she had, because we are certain that we would have far exceeded her expectations if we'd gotten the chance, and there would have been no sour note on her special day. While it's not for everyone, buying wholesale flowers and creating your own arrangements can add a very special element to your wedding AND save hundreds of dollars over florists. An elegant hand-tied rose bouquet is easy to create, and costs under $50. A florist will charge three to four times that for the same thing!! So don't shy away from the idea of do-it-yourself wedding flowers. A little careful planning and a high-quality, reliable supplier like BloomsByTheBox.com will save you hundreds of dollars on your wedding!

  • Half the flowers I ordered online (bloomsbythebox.com) got stuck in New Jersey, and although I got a replacement box quickly, I still had to sit around for another day waiting for UPS to deliver them, when I could have been doing really important stuff. Also, bloomsbythebox.com later grudgingly refunded about 30% of the flowers after telling me on the phone the day of the disaster that they would gladly refund me half my order.

    WeddingWire was not able to provide us any information that would help Blooms identify the order to allow us to speak directly the events in this post, so we can only speak in generalities. Shipping errors do happen, and while they are not in Blooms' control we do take full responsibility for correcting them. The poster indicates that she got an immediate re-ship, which would have been done at the customer's direction (we offer immediate replacement or full refund). I can't speak to the amount of the credit because I can't see any records of matching her description at the time around her wedding, but Blooms is always very generous on our refund and credit policies. Please keep in mind that the bride did receive and use all of the flowers ordered, and also got a significant (whether 30 or 50%) portion of her costs back as well. We understand that the delays cause inconvenience and stress and we do try our best to remedy unfortunate circumstances.
