  • Do not be fooled that their return policy is real. Even if returned immediately without disturbing the packing, your money will not be returned and they will not respond to your inquiries

  • I returned a gown in perfect condition that was only out of the box for a couple of minutes to try on. I ordered the next size the very same day. I returned the gown the next morning, they didn’t refund me for a month, and charged me a restocking fee. They claimed there was a stain on the gown, which was absolutely untrue.

  • I chose my dress in store a few weeks ago and they put in the order in store. I split the dress with my mom and I received the receipt through email. I called because I was double charged on my debit card and the woman on the phone said it was just a pre authorization and it would go away. Then I get an email a few days later that there are two invoices for two dresses and they had both shipped (I have only received one in the mail). I found the second shipping notice and it claims I signed for it when I definitely did not (I live in south philly and packages are often stolen). But they say they can’t reimburse the charge and I need to dispute it through my bank. This has all been awful and ruined what was supposed to be a really special and exciting experience!

  • I'm really sad with the experience I've had with BHLDN- especially since I bought my wedding dress here. Their returns process is terrible- they misplaced my return for a rehearsal dinner dress and after reaching out for 2 weeks via phone, email, and Facebook, I'm finally proceeding with a chargeback. They also deleted my Facebook post politely asking for help after I had reached out through so many other outlets, and did not attempt to contact me when it was deleted. I feel that they try to brush these issues of poor service under the rug.

  • Two thumbs down. So dishonest and untrustworthy. Terrible experience. This company is trying to pull a fast one on you. They do not list that items are final sale on the product detail page, when you ask customer service before purchasing, or when you look at the return policy. Nothing says you can't return a dress. And yet, when you point all of those things out, they still won't accept the return and deny refunding you. Terrible, terrible business practices and a very dishonest company. Additionally, the dress (over $1,000.00) was very poor quality. Run far away from this company and their garbage.

  • I found the perfect shoes for my wedding day here. It was difficult to find flats I liked that were nice enough for the big day but then I saw the "Seychelles Sheila Flats" in my exact wedding color. They are just what I imagined and fit perfectly. The quality appears to be high. Only downside was that Anthropologie doesn't have any shoes in store to try on and they don't let you return shoes in store either. Pretty inconvenient, but the shoes were true to size so the first pair I ordered fit well.

  • I said yes to the dress at BHLDN last weekend and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. The space itself is open, filled with light, and has lots of room for you and your friends/family to spread out and browse the dresses. We were immediately offered water/wine, setting the tone for a fun-filled hour. The two women who assisted me, LE and Laura, were both bubbly and kind, making sure I felt very comfortable as they helped me in and out of gowns in the dressing room. I had come into my appointment worried I wouldn’t feel beautiful in anything I tried on (I wear a street size 12). Instead, I felt great in every dress. LE and Laura were incredibly affirming and did a great job clipping the dresses (when necessary) so I got a good sense of what they would look like when tailored to me.   • I ended up going to a BHLDN pop up shop as the closest store was over 4 hours away from me. It was such an amazing experience! The space was full of natural light which I found to be extremely helpful in seeing the true color of the dress. In appointments other places I found that being in unnatural light made it hard to see what the dress would look like in my outdoor wedding. The stylist were extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful in narrowing down what styles I liked. The beginning of the appointment started out with the stylist showing me the dresses I put down as an interest on my appointment form. This was extremely helpful as I found that some of the things I liked online were so different in person!   • I had a wonderful experience shopping at BHLDN! It was my first time trying on dresses. Natalie was my consultant and she made me feel completely comfortable and was lovely to chat with as I got in/out of the dresses. I didn’t feel pressured to buy that day and she was very knowledgeable about everything I tried on. While I didn’t end up finding my gown that day, I would definitely recommend BHLDN to a friend starting to look for her dress!

  • I scheduled an appointment at the NYC salon for a saturday and was so impressed with the time and attention they were able to give me. My stylist understood my concerns about the different dresses and was able to match me with my dream dress! The dress arrived at my parent's house within 5 days of purchasing, it was so quick!

  • I went to BHLDN to find my wedding reception dress and they did not disappoint. The selection of gowns were swoon worthy and the consultants I worked with were so helpful and knowledgeable about each piece. My bridesmaids purchased all of their gowns at bhldn as well and we really enjoyed the personalized experience they provided.

  • I came in for my wedding dress last minute and had the best experience! I went to the Chestnut Hill location in MA and worked with Kathy. She was kind, flexible, helpful and a wonderful person. I didn't feel pressure to purchase anything unlike other places I went to and she made it super painless and will get my dress in less than a week. I highly recommend to any bride on a budget or one that needs a last minute dress because they are so accommodating and the price is right! :)

  • My daughter's dress is absolutely beautiful and just what she wanted. Taylor in Portland suggested she try on the Octavia dress and it was perfect. I love that it came quickly and was returnable or exchangeable, just in case. Amazing quality and gorgeous dress and accessories.

  • I loved my experience at this store and this review is not a reflection of the store or of the dresses, rather a review of my experience attempting to exchange my dress for a different size. My story is that I found a dress I LOVE, with the help of very friendly staff, however I was just barely mis-sized. When I called to order a size up one week after I received the dress and firmly within the 30-day return window, I was told the dress had been discontinued so that it was not possible for me to order another size. Well, to my surprise, the dress popped up again on the BHLDN website available in ALL sizes recently (at this point, it has been about two months from the purchase date and from the time I attempted to exchange the dress the first time).   • The in-store experience was good, nothing too special (no beverage offerings to my bridal party that came with me to find my dress). I did find my dress after my second visit (I was indecisive between two dresses that I loved) and it was everything I wanted in a dress, classy, vintage, comfortable but still a tasteful hint of sexiness at the same. Tried it on with a veil and belt and I was set. Store was beautiful, I visited the Midtown store in Manhattan. However, I did order some accessories online which was a disaster (in terms of customer service and experience in placing the order). I had to order my items 4 times because the first 3 times, my order kept cancelling for no apparent reason. I called the customer service line (first off the worst service/operators ever! They just sounded like they were miserable on the phone and absolutely no help at all) I asked if there was someone I can speak to that can assist me with placing my order or finding out why my order kept cancelling. ...
